I've got two hmt watches and I am school student. I also gift a hmt women's watch to my bestfriend, she is also a big fan of hmt watch.
I have three and they are still awesome
Hindustan Machine Tools, i remember the iconic HMT sun dial in Lord-Cubbon's park Bangalore.
My dad still have HMT watch thats his first gift from my mother
No.3 is Lazy & toxic employees… i have HMT plant near my home in Chandigarh & trust me the majority of corrupt people used to work there.
I still have my grandfather's hmt automatic watch in working condition. That shit is heavy.
Reason for failure :
1. Inside people secretely supported titan company, most of the people including people in higher post are corrupted like wholesale. All of them decreased quality purposefully
2.Tolerence : their mechanical watches spare parts tolerance is not maintaining so resulting in low duration working watches
HMT hindustan machine tools was traditional style of making watches without any battery.
Govt killed and gave the entire watch market to Titan. Why Titan factory is in Hosur because of proximity to Bangalore. This is how govt does privatisation.... Sad but true.
Mu dad gidted me a HMT Rajat mechanical watch when I was in standard ten. Still jave it, keep it for sentimental reasons. Rarely worn it.
I have two hmt watch and i just love it...
The price is super cheaper than other watch belts
..
If you are gonna present the gift you must go for it so that HINDUSTAN MACHINE TOOLS review
We should proud of HMT
We must support ...
Believe me its super cheap and good quality
