    This video is pure gold! I only wished that Apple Watch could automatically detect sleep like the Samsung Galaxy watches.

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  8 месяцев назад +22

      Thank you for the kind words. It can automatically detect sleep however i believe they want to know the start point when you first attempt to go to sleep so they can calculate the sleep latency etc. This would be near impossible to do as you might just be lying down on the couch watching some netflix etc. Cheers

      @@timestamps8576yea… it’s insane to think that the iWatch as I like to call it, is in many respects a more sophisticated and advanced tool, yet it can’t do what a less expensive counterpart CAN do. I swear, none of this would be happening if Steve Jobs wasn’t lost so early 😢 I feel and and selfish for even thinking that, but it’s true

    This sleep focus mode takes back this basic feature to stone ages. As someone who switched from Mi Watches for almost 6 years, I didn’t know about the sleep focus thing. I’ve been wearing the apple watch for almost two years now and no sleep data even after wearing the watch every night.

      Sleep focus has to be on and what I’ve noticed is that you’re awake time is when it cuts off recording sleep data period. In the video he says Apple will recognize that you’re still asleep, but it has not done that for me.

    I do have the sleep date like avearge sleep time and all but I don't have the break down on a Rem, awake, etc. part. Do I have to do this for 7 days straight to get the Rem, awake,etc datas? I don't have a sleep schedule on because my sleep is not starting at the exact time every night. Some earlier, some later so I always manually turn on sleep focus when I'm about to go to bed. Is that why the percentage break down is not available? only using sleep for about 4 days now with my new Series 8 watch.

    I'm naturally up at 4am.. so I set my timer to go off at 4am. so I technically should be in bed at like 8pm- 9pm latest.. however, sometimes I end up going to bed at a `11 or 12am , and my timer is still going off at 4am lol....I use the watch every night, and the minute I wake up. I check it now...last night I was in bed at 8pm and woke up at 4:15am .. so I got 7:23 Hours of sleep.. I don't typically go to bed that early ... but im impressed with this watch. I woke up literally 4 times throughout the night. twice to use the restroom, and two times to reposition myself, and I assure you.. the watch detected that. it said awake 4 times .. I purposely monitor the times I get up simply to compare it to the watch next day to see how accurate it is.. pretty darn good.

    Thank you for the great video & technical help :-) Do you find that sleeping on your side versus your back makes any difference? I'm on a medicine that increases REM sleep (dreaming) and reduces deep sleep. The large amounts of REM phase (it feels like I often have unpleasant dreams all night long) don't usually show up on the Ultra watch's sleep records, but an almost total lack of deep sleep periods does. Core sleep appears OK, but waking is frequent. Does anyone else experience this type of possible anomaly?

    2:12 - Is there an equivalent method of manually turning sleep on and off using just the watch that has been properly setup? What is the equivalent of "scrolling down from the top" on the phone using just the watch to get to the Focus ("Do Not Disturb" and "Sleep On/Off") menu? The watch sleep icon only has sleep schedule settings. I just want to turn it on and off as on the phone. Phone would be in another room charging.

    Is there any Apple Watch App that specifically uses the well-measured data recorded by the watch (not gathering themselves) and puts it into a nice interface with sleep and readiness score?

    I wish Apple could track your sleep without having to use sleep focus. My Samsung watch would automatically track my sleep for bedtime or even a nap without doing anything.

    How often do you need to connect to a phone? My partner has an iphone but I only want the watch. So was thinking of getting the data from the browser using the apply log in thing? And hopefully it automatically syncs with the phone each morning if required

      Google has helped here.. Looks like you need an iphone in the house for set up, and occasional updates. But looks like it can do most things by itself without needing the phone often.

      It's good like that. yes once it's setup you can do everything from the Watch

      Some random user on reddit once said, the apple watch isnt designed as a standalone device. That random user was absolutely right. Not only do you need an Iphone for the setup, you also regularly need it after, if you want to use the AW for anything else apart from telling time. I have no dlue what you mean by getting the data from the browser or what your reasons are for wanting to sync every morning. What I CAN tell you is, that if your watch isnt paired with your Iphone, and that means, it has to be physically close and the devices are connected through BT/Wifi, your watch isnt syncing anything (which is obvious for the non-cell versions, but even the cellular versions only work that way). Since only your partner has the Iphone it means, that you will need to be paired with her phone physically at that time, if you want the data to sync. It wont do it over cellular signal. So if you're out running, she wont be able to track you, or check your heart rate or whatever.

    Tracking sleep is not working at all it’s so annoying. I’ve followed all the steps and it’s still only showing Aqua blue data and no sleep stages. I’m getting annoyed as I’m 7 days in.

      It might be the gear you are using. Some watch models and watch OS can not track sleep stages

    How can I still make my phone wake me up and not the watch? Every time I wear the Apple Watch to sleep, I can’t wake up bc it only rings on my wrist, and I hate it.

      Hey mate, Data security is a core pillar of SleepHQ. Adam has a background in cybersecurity and has worked on I.T. projects with the U.S. Government. Our data centres are secured with digital and physical protections compliant with the latest industry standards. Cheers

    Hi, can sleep HQ work with the fitbit watch and sleep tracking? I do NOT have an apple watch or iPhone.
    If not, does anyone know if they will include other device such as fitbit?

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  5 месяцев назад +1

      Not currently mate. We don't really 'work' with individual devices. More such we integrate with Apple Health so if your device can sync Sleep data to Apple Health then we can sync it with your cpap therapy data on SleepHQ. We're also adding more categories like body measurements and activity shortly. All the best

      @@CPAPReviews will you be including android phones? if not, what is the OLDEST iphone generation (iphone 2) and OLDEST apple watch generation (apple watch 2) that works? i would only be using the devices for the sleepHQ purposes. i Can't spend $1500 + taxes on an iphone and $600+ taxes on a apple watch

    Is that your app seem like there’s not a lot of downloads and so I need the ring or is the Apple Watch ok

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  11 месяцев назад

      Hey mate, so our app is SleepO2 and it's designed to work with our SleepHQ O2 ring (monitors blood oxygen, heart rate and movement data) but we have a lot of people who use it without the ring just to send the Sleep Stage data to SleepHQ automatically. It's a bit confusing i know but with the Ring it's unreal. Cheers

    Is it possible to track sleep using sleep mode but without sleep schedule?

    • @CPAPReviews
      @CPAPReviews  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, All sleep schedule does is automate the turning Sleep Mode On & Off but you can easily do it manually or just ask siri to toggle it on and off
