Great video, even better explanation. Straighforward and you made it very easy to follow the steps. I like how you didn't waste time. Thank you for your help guys. keep up the good work
Thank you for your video demonstrating the procedures and tools. I knew most of the work necessary already, but the tool sizes and popping out the in board joint stub was a new one on me. Thank you!
🎄🎄 Thank you so much for all your help I put a new driver's side axle on my 2004 Dodge intrepid, and those cluncks, and banging noises from underneath are gone. The rest of the front suspension is good. And I had the same problem, you pin-pointed exactly and correctly where the banging noises were coming from, the cv joints were broken, bearings gone, houses just dancing and clunking around in the old one. Thank you fine sir for you help🎄🎄☃️
how do you put the fluid back into the differential? Mine doesnt have a lug to check fluid level so i assume its through the transmission fill location, or is it somewhere else?
Hey ive got a question on my 2005 Dodge Durango I removing CV joint and the shaft stayed in the joint or axle so I had to remove it to be able to put it back in the differential without that shaft in there because the new differential already came with half shaft so once I took the CV shaft out that seal at the bottom the metal round piece that looks like a quarter I've been fed up the hammer in the champ out with us to divert now how do I get that back in there to help seal the grease in there or can I just go to parts store and replace just that small metal piece and does it supposed to stay put in that whole
Hey guys am changing the cv axle on my chrysler sebring 2005 2.4 convertable coupe and im having trouble finding the right axles to match the car all the ones I buy new seem no not be a perfect match. Unless the axles seem to be a new after market version that are adaptable to my car but even then it seems to be a bit longer by at most 3 inches

While looking at your video. All is great. However I've noticed, the upper ball joint is cracked, needs to be replaced as well. Although, I'm aware this video was on replacing the CV Axle Drive Shaft. great. Keep up the good work.
i was in the process of doing this exact job for my sisters 05 Stratus hers is a 4 door and the autopart store provided us with an axle that has ABS any reason on why this happened? if all info was correct and knowing this car has no ABS?
I also love the way that he uses the impact on the axle nut. 550ftlbs of torque is so much better than the 80ftlbs it SHOULD be torqued to. I love it when someone trashes wheel bearings cause they are ignorant.
Wow. Why are you removing the entire brake/hub arm assembly? It's almost like trying to get at the axle starting by going into the trunk and working through the dash.
what if you follow your instructions and procedures and the cv joint breaks in half , and leaves the the inner cup still in the trans how to get it out what tool or ???????? Help!!!!!!!!!

ok after you had done all the work do you need to add more oil to the transmission
how do you put the fluid back into the differential? Mine doesnt have a lug to check fluid level so i assume its through the transmission fill location, or is it somewhere else?
Thank you for this video clip. I am from Baghdad, and there are no backup tools here. I need a drive, I saw left and right
Wonderful video thank you brothers 💪🏼
Hey so I’m about to do this maintenance on my car and what do I do about the fluid leaking after I remove the cv joint. And do I have to replace it?
Thanks for sharing with us. Very helpful with my 04 stratus.
Next show you actually prying the axle out you skipped that part cuz it's not that easy to pop out

hi just wondering does the transmission need to be in neutral before pulling out the axle?
Did anyone answer this

Should really use a torque wrench if you want that bearing to last.
nice. how come you dont have more viewers? you re doing an awesome job.
Do you have video how to remove the alternator of this car ?
I need help removing the CV axle on 2002 Chrysler Sebring coupe

Thankyou, if someone can't follow this video they shouldn't be working on a car.
Thank you
lol the wobble on those ball joints are gnarly..

what's up guys, great video!!!
for the right side is the same procedure, or i need to do something else?
The guy have three arms thats awesome
So pro, don't even need to remove gold jewelry.
Was piece of cake
Nathan Scott y shit he getting the job done
So kindly of you to recognize. Pros don't worry about that shit because there's pros. This is basic automechanics, not wood shop ya noob.

Apparently, you're not concerned about spilling transmission oil all over the ground.
Wow. Why are you removing the entire brake/hub arm assembly? It's almost like trying to get at the axle starting by going into the trunk and working through the dash.
+markmarcie2 What I am trying to say is your taking a lot of time to make the slide out/in convenient. You can do it without taking all that time.
markmarcie2
porq mi estratus cuando paso un tope alto se holpea la parte de abajo seq las suspenciones estan vencidas
Anybody watching, you may want to properly torque the cv shaft nut. These guys must not worry about premature hub failure
Everything else they did was on point tho!
They did this video in 8 mins.
what if you follow your instructions and procedures and the cv joint breaks in half , and leaves the the inner cup still in the trans how to get it out what tool or ???????? Help!!!!!!!!!
👍
not supposed to use the impact on the axle nut (EVER)
it's looks easy when you have to remove the old axle from the transmission but I can't find the way to do it.....I surrender
You don't even show how or we're you put your screw driver to remove it???? Nobody on here shows that????
How come you took the tie Rod end of??? Just disconnect your brakes and caliper
Why didn't you remove the strut aside faster.just take a measurement and scribe your strut you won't need a wheel alignment???
