Corey your playing is so clean and tight! You could get you in touch with my friend here in Kamloops BC Canada that has a multi award winning guitar company called Riversong! They make electrics, acoustics, mandolins, violins, you name it!
Corey, killer studio man I especially love your amp wall such a really cool selection of amps and also the content has really motivated to get the UA Ox which has been on my radar for awhile anyway Andrew ,another great studio tour for a new year Thanks!!!
THE dream guitar recording haven!!! His wall of amps, channel.switcher and OX is exactly what I'm currently trying to build and achieve here in my lil' home studio setup. And of course, Cory's playing and talent is, as well, always inspiring and a pleasure to listen to. Anyway, thanks so much for the great video! Peace.. DC
love corey! killer set up. happy ny gents! the ox box still rules! i use mine everyday. wish i had a little more space for multiple amps and a switcher. 🙌😊
What a phenomenal guitar workspace. Are all the guitar tones we are hearing coming from Corey's studio monitors into your vocal/room mic? It sounds killer.
Cory, sweet and efficient setup for audio and video. I don’t transcribe many players, but I loved your jamming on the TrueFire promo you did, and I loved your concepts you shared. As far as video, couple questions. What lens allows you to be that close to the camera and get you and the guitar in a shot? Do you edit in an editor and mix vox and guitar, or do you record session with something like OBS? Thanks, and I am creating some gear demo videos and like your setup. I like your Black Magic switcher with he HDMI hookups. If you happen to get the boom mic model, I am interested in that. Your gear setup was a perfect example of guitar guru setup without having to take up 3 rooms in a house…smile. Thanks Andrew for shooting this video!
Terrific player. The tiny bit of condescension that creeps through with some of the Nashville YT channels is _nowhere_ to be found with Corey. In a past era of great music he would've been snapped up long ago by a popular band. If Sweetwater ever wanted a presence in Nashville they'd be lucky to partner with him...
Awesome tour. Amp wall is every guitar players dream. Didn't know OX software was avail for Mac until now. Unfortunately UA site says Mojave or Catalina OS only.
masterclass in tone and that pedal board. i was cringing watching him show the guitars as a guy who’s banged some headstocks he was getting dangerously close to the others 😂.
Thanks, I have a ampete switcher and it says not to run time based effects like that. It also has an fx loop so in run time based through the loop. Do you have turn off the fx before switching amps?
I'd ask Corey but I'm here so: How do you guys insure all this gear? Real question. Rider on your home owner's or a separate thing? Does your RUclips exposure make you nervous about perhaps being more likely to get burgled? My renter's insurance maxes out at $10K but I don't have a sliver of the gear either of you do. But, adding up the replacement cost of my stuff in total I wouldnt be able to replace a sliver of my sliver ..
I'm probably poking a bee hive here, but my question is -- in 2024, as a 47 year old musician with a musician's dose of tinnitus, as someone who has literally never played a tube amp in my life -- would I get anything out of a wall of boutique/high-end amps like this paired with an amp switcher and an ox-box? This is the visual aesthetic you see in a lot of RUclips, but then you hear subtle comments from influencers in off moments (or moments not sponsored by @Sweetwater) where they admit to mostly just using their [insert modeler here]. **I'm also curious if there is a generational dynamic to the answer to this question.** The genesis of this post is that someone tried to trade me about $1750 worth of tube amp and cabs for a used Helix Floor I bought for $850. [IIRC it was a PRS MT-15 and 2 matching cabs, I think I've done the math right.]
The question of needs is answered by knowing exactly what your desired outcome is. Corey is a session musician, artist and performer, who also runs a business based on guitar education. So he uses what solves for his desired outcome. It also pays all of his bills. It may seem obvious but sometimes people watch a video and get gear envy when in reality they don’t need that gear. Most hobbyists would be more than fine with a great modeling pedal.
@@AndrewMasters I guess I'm making the assertion that his desired "outcome" is not sonic, it's the visual aesthetic of the amp wall as a background in his work. I'm raising this (as I always do) with respect to the health of a community that is constantly barraged with messages that they need all of this gear to be whole.
Kicking off the New Year with our friend Corey. Smash the like button for the youtube overlords!
Happy New Years Andrew 🎉
Honored to be on the channel! Thanks for including me and all the best in 2024!

How are you hooking up your two OXes with the x8p. With only one SPDIF… are you doing line in?
@@robomalostereo trs to xlr no, spdif. That way I can run longer lines and have the Ox anywhere in the studio
@@coreycongilio thanks for hitting me back! I just returned my x8p for an x8. Kind of wish I kept the p now
I liked your vibe. Rock on!
Corey is a class act and a true professional. Loved watching this!
Corey is the man!
Thanks for the tour of Corey’s studio! I smile and am amazed how many top Nashville players have “great” guitars that once belonged to Uncle Larry.
Corey is amazing! Loved it! thanks Andrew!
My dude! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That studio is a Guitar Player's paradise and that tobacco burst ES 350 with the Bigsby rig is a Vision To Behold!

What an awesome studio tour to start off the new year! Loved it!

Awesome setup and quite a nice guy, it seems. Gotta check his channel, too!
Thanks, Andrew! 👍🏻👏🏻🙋🏼♂️
That 000-18 is sweet!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Great video :) Loved the intro
Nashville seems like an interesting scene haha. It's like the Berlin for country music and blues haha
That amp wall; this is exactly the solution I've been wanting to see in reality. Also love the Eastside Music Supply shirt.
Great video. Greetings from Reykjavik, Iceland
" I´m the kind of guy that likes the large 70s headstocks on a Strat!"

I’ve said it before but that Casino is one of the most beautiful guitars.
Hey Corey, I'd come across some videos and I was not sold, but after learning how great a guy you are and how amazing you sound I'm a fan. Keep it up!
Awesome studio and guitar amp wall!! Corey is an amazing player, teacher and really nice guy!
Couldn't agree more!
Sweet guitar space! Love the red Jack Butler guitar, never seen anyone with one of those. Very well thought out studio.
Nice stuff, and informative. I' m new to guitar (one year in) and I will be checking out Corey's website for lessons.
Awesome 👌
Gasp! A Direct Drive! You never see those in the wild. (Well at least *I* don't. Church, y'know?)
Great video! Would love to see a tour of Shawn Tubbs studio!

I wanted to hear that jubilee real bad. lol Good job.
I'd love to see a Rabea Massad's studio tour
Awesome Setup and great guitars. Are you still with PRS Corey? I always loved your DGT!

after watching this i'm now hoping for you to convince mateus asato to show his space

gladio into TS1 … double dumble!
Hot intro.
I’ve always tried to figure out why you’d do stereo out of the ox
Do you run all your pedals in front of the amp? Guitar -pedal board - amp switcher?
Typically, yes

what's the little camera model?
I want to know where Corey got that guitar hanging system. Need that in a bad way!
Search Diamond Life guitar hanger
Sweet! Thanks!
Do you use Logic as well?
Have you given up using your Eleven Rack?
Yeah, about 10 years ago!
whats that little facedown tweed amp?
That’s a Fender Edge Signature tweed deluxe

Man it’s really fun, good hobby to do in your free time you should give it a try
Had to quit watching because of all the tweaker zooming in and out.
Great Setup and guitars. Are you still with PRS Corey? I always loved your DGT!
Thx! Yes! We did a segment on the PRS guitars I own but, they didn’t make it in the vid. Maybe it got too long winded!
