NExT Step 1 Exam in February 2028 is For 2024 MBBS Batch ( i.e for aspirants who Cracked NEET 2023 ).
So batch of NEET 2023 Aspirants will be the first batch to write NExT.

Please mam don't create fake hype. 2024 batch will not be the first batch to appear for NExT. NMC never said it. Health Ministry is on its full pace to conduct first NExT for 2020 MBBS batch.
Let the 2024 aspirants be focused.
And one more thing, in Feb-2028, the 2023 batch will sit in NExT.

(Abroad students 2024)
5+1 year internship=6 years
Next-1(2attempts) =1 year
Internship=1 year
Next-2 attempt=1 year
Total years=9 years
Means abroad students who will appear in 2024 will clear next 2 in 2033 agar thoda late hua to degree kagaz ke saman aur abroad students ko 2 baar intership karni padegi😢😢😢😢 this not fair
You are wrong here, it's only once a year. As if one passes next only then they can do internship and PG for NEXT to occur twice a year one also needs to conduct double internship and double admission procedure in PG.

Maam plzzz once u calculate if neet 2024 aspirants will be giving NEXT in Feb 2028 thn they are just completing 3.5 Years.....so that means u have made a slight mistake in calculation......mbbs 2023-24 batch will be giving 1st Next in Feb 2028.....as they are completing 4.5 years......and also NMC has given a schedule of mbbs 2023-24 inthe CBME notification dated on 1st aug .....there they have mentioned that mbbs Batch 23-24 will give Next in 2028 feb

Mam the problem is that most of the people around us do their mbbs first and after earning for a few years they apply for NEET PG...Because as you know doing MD is sometimes quite costly so it leads to a lot of financial pressure on our parents again if we do it immediately after mbbs...even if we clear next 2 this will be a problem...mam plz clear this doubt of mine...

Bacchey NMC will definitely clarify this soon.
As mentioned in recent articles, one can write NExt Exam within 10 years of joining MBBS. That means if you enter Medical College in 2024, you can write NExT till 2034 only. After completing MBBS and cracking NExT 1 you may start practicing and side by side prepare for NExT 2.

What if with our next score we qualify the exam but its not good enough to get a pg seat. So do we get the licence? If yes, then should we give the exam again after getting the license as a betterment to get a PG seat.

There are already thousands of Mbbs graduates who sit jobless every year after not qualifying por Neet Pg...also learn the difference between competitive and qualifying exam ,you need to score atleast 50% to qualify which is much easier than competing for limited PG seats which is obviously going to be tough therefore they've given a fixed time limit of 10 years

Maam i am preparing for neet ug 2024 but when i heard this news according to THE TIMES news portal i was afraid but in the next day THE PRINT main bhii same article chapa gaya or unhone kaha ki 2020 batch ke liye NEXT hoga and they also quoated some honourable person but THE TIMES not quoated and in this day this paper correct the article and i also heard the speech of union health minister in loksabha and he said that NEXT is not occuring for 2019 batch but he never said tgat Next is occuring from 2024 batch he said it will held as soon as possible. So with due respect to you maam i concluded that if we consider THE PRINT article which is also authentic news media we can said that NEXT exam conducted for 2020 batch beside this if we consider THE TIMES news media which is also authentic news media NEXT is for 2024 batch but both have no authentic proof but according to health ministry he said as soon as possible so as per my opinion THE PRINT is more authentic that is it is not actualy for 2024 batch it is started as soon as possible which is not cleared by health ministry also .WITH DUE RESPECT MAAM from your lovable student
