For Annie, if you switch one of the dreadways for guardian angel on those mutators, you fill the board with annies, each giving spells and increasing dmg. You get the same amount of warning shots after the first turn, then you get more and more.
Nami is SOOO good for some of the situational ones. I had a level 18 1 star Nami when I played November Monthly Challenges and she absolutely curb-stomped any "spell duplicate" Also, note that Nidalee, while she is really really good in general, you might want to prioritize using her for a late Small Stuff challenge, since her transform kit partially counters Small Stuff. Just don't play the 3/1 ambush guy that gives vulnerable as a bush; he becomes a 1/1 bush, then when he transforms he becomes a 2/0 and instantly dies! But any other ambush unit is fine; nidalee becomes a 1/1 bush, then a 4/2 Nidalee which grows to 5/3 with impact because of star powers. I used Nidalee 2 star for multiple Small Stuffs in November. Also 22:37 Sett with Chemtech Duplicator is basically Sett with Karma, which is a meta deck in constructed!
This is the first time I tried these challenges, but I only have like half the Champs on 2-3 stars and on a descent level, so I couldn't finish them, but I got to round 60 and it was a really challenging and fun experience thanks to your guides
First of all Great Video. What I like most is the emphasis on rating your champions according to your likes and Levels, for example I used Kindred on November 68 and 70 and cleared 70 without taking dmg even once, while Nidalee failed me on 2 out of 3 uses xD It's really about what you feel comfortable with.
@@arcturusdarkness5170stalker+ guardian Angel + Lost chapter = you cast her suicide/revive spell, you get 2 kindred which are striking the ennemies for 2 Times 4 damage... Quite good, especially if you have 2 stalker and 1 guardian Angel :D
Kayn is a great counter when facing swain's modifier, ofc there's a better one but personally i like him just get healed after slaying and not getting damaged afterward
I liked saving Kindred for "Welcome to the murder bridge" modifier, where enemy summons a Howling Abyss. Kindred has relatively early access to a spell that can remove landmarks; and once removed the comp didnt seem to have any major answers without the consistent stream of lvl 2 champs to play. Kindred was Situational for me
I found Illoui to be my "Situational" answer to the power that sets all player units to 1/1. Threw a Crownguard, Galeforce, and Stormrazor, and you can usually OTK the enemy nexus once you attack with Illoui. Two turns with Galeforce brings illoui tentacle up to roughly 15-20 power, then IF you need a 3rd hit, the rally from Crownguard covers. Worked very well with that 1/1 unit power modifier.
I completed all challenges a few days ago and I can say that for me the hardest challenges were the 4 stars who had kat as either the mini boss or the final boss, mostly because kat is bugged and counts playing her champion spell as playing a champion so she could grant in a turn +6+6 while rallying the whole time, so for me the strongest were yasuo jhin and jinx and Ashe who could counter the insane stats by either stunning frostbiting or straight up win, and we'll Diana still broken of course
This is really interesting, thank you. I think it shows how diverse the challenges are and how you can end up differently. I almost lost with Nidalee while i got a clutch win with Aatrox. One thing is certain though, unless they make it more than seventy runs, it will get easier and easier as they release new champs.
For Lee sin, you can also use him for any modified relate to spell too. Despite I have him only level 10 (3 star), I beat many lates with him, which I didn't expect at all.
I've been saying for awhile now that Monthly Challenges tier lists should move away from the regular letter-based tier lists. I'm not sure I'm entirely satisfied by how how you divided the different champion tiers, but it's the best approach I've seen so far.
Having finished the monthly quest, I found that the modifiers are almost secondary to the enemy champion. I saved Evelynn for Azir, his deck has crazy early game potential and lacks removal for husks. Constantly stunning Azir's ephemeral board is a good way to get buy him. Evelynn should avoid matches against people like Viktor because it's a huge loss of tempo if you lose a husk to a ping spell. Caitlyn was also a more challenging opponent, which makes it important to bring a champion with big units against her. Probably champion like Illaoi, Tahm Kench, Kayne, and Garen would be best. if you See Katarina you probably want to play yasuo or another champion with frostbite to keep her from returning to the opponents hand.
based on my experience, Teemo is a good counter to Small Stuff, with double rageblade and scout equip, aim to draw multiple of him, end games with puff caps and decent damage from him and stall with rest of his deck
If you do this for next month I would bump Kayne up to situational. A lot of the challenges are difficult because damaged units are either killed or take further damage after being killed. Kayne's ability to heal his units if they win allows him to scale through challenges that usually make you choose between taking damage or having units for your attack phase. In other words a lot of challenges try for attrition and Kayne can beat attrition, since his units are almost always full health.
Very helpful video... Though I disagree on some or use some champions differently... I use Veigar when I really need to get rid of stuff due to some modifier... I think I even managed to get a win with small stuff because he doesn't care.
As you said, there are some champions i don't completely agree but i don't have a fully max roaster. My Ashe is lvl 15, 2 stars and no frostbite on opponent turn kinda weaken her potential, especially against Zed for example. But i watched the video with a different perspective, not such as a ranking but more like advice for which champions to level up/upgrade, even if i'll be careful for star up with the upcoming expansion
Depending enemy power, I rhink put all champion in situational tier xD this monthly challenge has a lot of "all unit has evolve" power, I always used bard there. This month lvl 70 monthly challenge can beaten easily with jack + regen relic, hit 3 start power really suitable for "kill all damaged enemy" power, Poro king + guardian angel + chemtech duplicator would be great againts kill all enemies then revive them, as long we you survive past turn 6, you would have a lot off buffed poro king, not to mention his one of his lvl provide heal in his poro snack as long as he didn't lvl up
Everybody is doing tier list. But i think we need something you do for situational champions... sort off. I would like to see guide when you show every monthly murator and best champions for it and ranking them. It would be better for someone whos doing monthly and dont know what champion use for specific murator/challenge. And nobody doing this kind of tutorial/video/guide. I hope you will like my idea and maybe do something like that. Cheers.
I have been planning on doing a video like that, I have just been wanting more experience with the month challenges. Ever month I learn more ways to counter the modifiers. In the next couple of months though, I will probably do a video like that.
Any chance of video guide for 1-2 star champs and their best relics or proper uses or just a tier list for those of us who have joined the poc late and have weak accounts? Its hard to imagine that all of your viewers have such high lvl accounts. But maybe that just me as I feel many of your videos dont apply to me atm. Thanks for all your hard work
Poro king worked great for me against small stuff. Von yipp overriding small stuff and the poro snax healing the nexus allows you to build the board and ignore opp offense. Used him with chemtech and the spell mana refill relic
Monthly challenges videos are very important ones, this tier list is very intresting. I am not sure with Gwen position - she is a beast and can easily deal with toughest challenges - you basicaly win the game when Gwen appears on your board, Kayne is not bad - he is the best for formidable challenges wich are problematic for attack-based champions. Also is Eve realy this strong? She is not the fastest champion and requires good starting hand. Anyway i am pretty sure half of 'mid' category champions can easily beat most later challenges. Anyway for me there are three categories 1 - Universaly strong in most scenarios, 2 - Situationaly good ~ depending on challenge modifiers, 3 - trash.
Just the video I needed before getting my 3 star A.Sol, thank you for your effort! Do we have any information regarding how long we'll be getting A Sol shards from the monthly challenges and how they will be obtained afterwards?
We don't have any confirmation on how long he will be the monthly reward or how we will get him after. He should be the reward for several months though.
If you have him maxed out, he is quite strong and can often win in 2-3 rounds. You have to watch out for super aggro champs like Azir or Kat though as they can rush you down.
I think so, but a really good way to use it is on the LVl 30 champs. Since they dont get more Xp, the Pearl isnt consumed, so u get a free mana gem while using 1 slot, unlike the Epic Titanic relic builds that requires 2 slots
Amazed that Kindred is in Early. I think Kindred is absolute top tier. Solid defensive nature with free blockers, then complete board dominance after they come down (also Kindred isn't a she, Lamb is, but Kindred is the duo of Lamb and Wolf, which would be both male and female)
For Annie, if you switch one of the dreadways for guardian angel on those mutators, you fill the board with annies, each giving spells and increasing dmg. You get the same amount of warning shots after the first turn, then you get more and more.
Interesting. I might need to try that out

Don't be delulu from Kaisa we have from the enemy's Kaisa. Enemy's Kaisa is absolutely nut to go against.

do you have any tips on Kindred? i already 3* her but cant get her playstyle
@@arcturusdarkness5170GA with two stalkers blades can work, just keep their board clear.
Nidalee didn't work out well for me either. Quite a lot has to do with playstyle and luck I think.

He is too elusive for a ranking lol
I have only jinx and yasuro so far, what a fun game😅
great video, very appreciated
Good ranking I agree with this list besides maybe jax , also thank god that tryendmere is not that common this month he is really annoying.
Nidalee is also great counter to Small Stuff mutator, transformed units have their own stats.
I have heard that, but haven't tested it out yet.
Jack is incredible against Azir, i would keep him for later azir, cuz Azir is busted
I would put master on situational cuz of spells cost 1 less modifier he can cycle his spell I one shotted when I used him on those
