50 year old here and I completely agree, I am of the NCAA 98 generation lol, I have not been so excited for a video game in decades. It is amazing how when EA allows a group of creators who are actually fans of the sport, gives them time and money to do a game and this is the result, not some roster update we get with other games.

I went straight in to play now to practice. Hard in conference opponents. Got my ass beat a gew times because I haven't played an EA football game since 2016, but after 2 games kinda got the hang again. Playing on all pro. Passing is definitely harder than it was in the older games. I need to get better at running spread option.
It’s not a running or passing game. The break tackles are coming from the ball carrier running full speed it’s more so of a momentum thing. If you want to stop the runners get to them before they get to full speed or else it’ll be harder to slow and bring them down.

Last football game I’ve played was NCAA 14. Football games have come such a long way since then. The amount of customization of your O&D is wild. It’s going to take awhile to get used to all of this.
I tried a couple of Madden games since then, but only played 2 or 3 games before getting bored with them. This game seems much better than those so far

@roychato2000 I tried to play the Red River Shootout as Oklahoma for my first game. Threw 4 picks in the first half and decided to go to practice. Also, it doesn't help that I'm used to using XBox controllers and I keep hitting Square when I mean to hit X

@roychato2000 haha. I refuse to turn down the difficulty, and am trying to learn the new pass mechanics. Gotta travel the rest of this week, gonna take the PS5 with me and get some practice in my hotel room

Pro tip: If you turn Camera Toggle off like pop suggest you cannot zoom in or out in Road to Glory. Disabling camera toggle enables strategy pad controls.

I've had this since early access and I'm loving it I do have a question and maybe it's not an option yet but I don't see how to red shirt players on my dynasty. At the beginning of the second season as I'm adjusting my roster there's no button for red shirt but there is a column showing whether they are red-shirted
I purchased the game and never played a football title or ever watch a game so I have no idea what I’m doing

RPO, I cannot ever seem to pass out of the rpo. If I do not hold x (PS5) I hand of to the HB. If I do hold x, I keep the ball with the QB, but am not in pass form so cannot throw the ball and just have to run with QB.

The disguise coverages will be tough. May just have to mod the routes to get a drag and slant to provide a hot route when you read wrong

Great tips! I am Looking for a couple more things that should be seemingly easy to find in the menus. How do you:
Play 1x1 online with my team's real roster vs someone else's teams real roster. Like me and Joe Blow online go head to head with KU vs K-State. Is there a competitive mode capable of doing this as well?
Play a traditional Season vs CPU: Play the real teams roster through the season and take them to a bowl game.
Not interested in cards, recruiting, dynasties, etc at this time.

Veteran madden player. Need serious help on defense. I was able to play madden on all madden but struggle on all American in cfb. I can compete on offense but cannot do anything on defense
I was hoping to see something on blue, yellow and red on the pass meter. I still haven't figured out what determines whether blue, yellow or red.

Yo @strangeplays a lot of people are saying when your a WR I’m ROTG you can control whether the qb throws a bullet pass or touch pass? Like just how you can if your playing the qb yourself in a normal game, is this true??

Do they expect you to read the list of abilities And remember them ??? I was trying to find a way (in dynasty) to look/read the abilities from the actual player screen is there a way ?

Switching defense players mid play really gon change the defense and how offense players play the game you know many time u could fool someone with a cpu then switch on him to get the int 😂

On a pistol jet sweep how the hell do you give the ball to the receiver instead of the RB? been looking everywhere and cant find it. Unless you cant give the ball to the receiver on that play.

I need some help with CFB25. I am playing with my kids in dynasty and it’s really hard to tell who is what color. Dose any one know how to make the color in the middle more boldly to tell who’s what player?
Does anyone know what the best quarter length and accelerate clock setting is for dynasty for a balanced gameplay?
3 min no accelerated clock on all American gives good realistic scores and the game isn’t too long.

best tip dont buy and play. the defense is just horrible in that game, its basically always who makes the one mistake because otherwise almost each play is a big gain or a td. im average at madden but this is just a joke. i dont mind being bad but the game doesnt even tell you how to get better.

I’m annoyed that I can only play my player and not control the whole team when I play road to glory, I have to play make a dynasty to do that, and that sucks in my opinion.
I always block channels where the RUclipsr has a fabricated shocked look in the thumbnail. Good luck growing your channel, but know that it's both annoying and something people are tired of seeing.
