Is there a coaching adjustment to turn off crap angles of pursuit? I might lose my mind watching 3 of my players intentionally run behind a player who caught a 3 yard drag and turned it I to a 70 yard td.
Defense is impossible ... I give up over 300yrds a game to the CPU ... it's essentially shoot outs every game. It fucken sucks and it feels like BLITZ instead of NCAA
Player switching is making this game nearly unplayable for me. 80% of the time it switches me to a player that not near the ball carrier and I dive 5 yards in the opposite direction. This is so frustrating.

@@916vkiddin settings towards the bottom there is a option to assist when you switch to a player to have them keep running instead of when you switch to them dead stop because I was having problems with my player stopping as soon as I switched to him and tried to make a tackle
Whew! I was introduced as Michigan State DC and was terrible and I began to question myself and was about to throw in the towel for good. Now armed with this knowledge I think I’ll step down , go to a smaller school and rebuild. Thanks Coach!😂
Tip 11 is easily the best if you just listen. That was crazy breakdown of computer sim coverage. The thought of these reactions built in to defend specific routes. That knowledge is game changing literally 🤣💯

Double OT, winning it on the 2 point conversion. Heart pounding out of my chest and shaking, electric game
Dude just sweated my ass off playing #1 oregon as #11 sdst was up two scores but then they came back and took the lead which resulted in me getting a go ahead score and milking most of the clock to hold on. Not nearly as exhilarating as yours but found it funny we both had similar games lol. I had a 21 point comeback against cal to make it 4ot but ended up losing on the two point conversion for that one 😭
How about a setting to make my cpu controlled guys not run into the punter and give the ball back to the other team after I come up with a big stop on 3rd down...2 possessions in a row 😢

I done gave up a lot of unnecessary Touchdowns with that switch stick upon the snap of the offense. It puts me on a corner and the WR is freed up for that slight delay especially if its streak route.
The differnce between the user ai and cpu Ai in this game is insane. The User Ai is like its on freshman. Defenders will run right to a ball carrier and not attempt to tackle. I have a video of a corner ducking to avoid breaking up a pass. Yet the CPU Ai has backside safties filling the A gap, and a linebacker can start off at the hash turn around and pick off a bullet pass on the side line. The offensive Ai is unbalanced as well, player ball carriers in rtg have zero vision and never use moves, blockers turn away to avoid defenders. The CPU Ai doesnt have any of these issues.
Word. And I play on heisman. The run is impossible to stop and god forbid if I blitz. It’s always some slant route with my player taking a bad angle for the ball and it’s a 70-75 yard td

You know the game is shit when you have to mess with 25+ settings just for your guys to overrun the ball carrier. Madden reskin with 30% more speed. That is it. The best part? You have to manually change all of these settings except the first 4 with EACH GAME.
Playing the online mode they don’t even give you the full playbook like I use Texas and they literally take away three formations on the offense 😂😂 defense too

Best thing I can say is blitz as much as you can and try to cover well you gotta have a nice D with elite corners to have a little advantage but it’s also the run but I cover well with my user the ai on the other hand be bsing
It really is, but this is more for people who are trying to get better competitively. I don’t do have of this stuff that was said in the video and I’m not a great player but I end up giving most of my opponents good matches by just sticking to what I’m best at
OK but you didn't mention anything about reading keys. Running the ball is huge in college football, so knowing what your run keys are is HUGE. Being able to stop the run as the MLB is crucial if you want to win games. You have to learn zone running schemes aka scrapping inside leverage, traps/counters aka knowing where to shoot the gap from a pulling player or when to blow up the pulling lineman and what boot passes look like. The straight dives/leads are pretty easy. If you can shut down the run game, you are miles ahead.
I tell you one thing ou's defense is realistic af getting burnt every down lmao. I been getting scortched for about 400 or 500 passing yards a game. Evverything i try doesnt work it really takes the fun outta the game.

I will agree with everyone it's frustrating that their d seems to be all over your guys and mine always seem 3 to 5 yards away even in man coverage. Hopefully with these tips and learning how to layer the ball I can make better plays.

If I'm running different cover 2 shells the whole game and showing cover 2, 3, 4, 6 looks is the CPU defense capable of knowing I'm running cover 2 the whole time and adjusting?
CFB 25 Can be fun..... If I am beating every team 80+ to 0 on Varsity then switch to Heisman and can't do anything the CPU does, that is sssoooooo frustrating. I'm sure I'm going to get comments that my skill level sucks. I don't have 8 hours a day to dedicate to a game. I just want a casual competitive game. THE CPU can absolutely burn me over the middle. No point, apparently all cards are maxed out at their overall. An 80 speed cant have any attribute over 80 apparently. They had 3 years and did us dirty

On offense you don't have to user wr just wait till ball is in the air near you and hold the button over the wr....on defense is the same way just press b when the ball is coming and hold y or triangle to pick it or knock ball out
Having an issue where the game won’t let me choose a new defense play after the first play is over it’s like it’s a situation to where you are in the 4th quarter with one minute left to play and you have to use the same defense play that used earlier idk if it’s something in the settings that I have clicked on
A lot of it is dependent on what your opponent is running. For example, if your opponent isn't attacking the sidelines with flood concepts, you don't particularly need to use a mable coverage in the game. In some games you'll use more of these adjustments, some less. It all depends on the game itself.
@ryanevans2655 ok I checked and you're right it does work but with the RS you don't have to aim with the LS when your using the circle/B button, so it's more fluid

Yeah, the pursuit to the ball carrier is terrible and it doesn’t help that you’ll most likely will miss a tackle that leads to big gains/ touchdowns

I think it’s backwards on the pitch key- on conservative it actually ends up forcing the pitch before he goes after the running back for some reason

I wanted to chuck my controller at the screen after playing against Notre Dame with FSU for my dynasty after playing Clemson and destroying them.
The defense on this game out of the box is broken. There should be a few tweaks but this is wild just to make it playable.

Game dosen't swat or go after ints when you click on they freeze your defender feels like we're playing on arcade mode
Is there a way to practice just defense without having to flip the play? My practice options are normal or offense only.
I figured out if I make both practice teams the same then I can practice defense.

Lots of teams run a hurry up offence in college so you won’t have time to full call a new defence just from the audibles

That’s football for the most part, it’s about making adjustments

How is this different from briefly holding B and flicking the LS in the direction of who you want to change to, like always?
I think the difference is they go back to the assignment you gave them before you switch stick
