What I am finding frustrating about this game is how much better the CPU defense is than the players defense. It feels like you have to User every pass attempt because your defenders make almost no effort to defend a WR/TE but the CPU's defender jumps every single route.

Yes, and, the cpu is totally impervious to wear and tear. I played a game where they no huddled 3 straight drives and I was hit sticking their running back like 4 times per drive and he never once was sucking wind pre snap nor did he get any worse. If you give your running back more than 3 carries on one drive I SWEAR they immediately get all yellow and orange unless you run out of bounds each time lol
Yes 100000%. Bro its freaking abnoxious af. Receivers dropping everything. Oline sucks even with adjustment. RB not picking up blocks. Then you got CPU QB who is a T800 auto read dot machine .
Drives me nuts!! I get like 2 roughing the kicker penalties a game from players I’m not controlling just diving at the kickers…even when I’m not choosing to go for the block!
@soonerborn7603 I know next to nothing about programming, but what I think is happening is the defensive ai is only viewing the kicker as a ball carrier, so they respond by trying to tackle.
So part of the reason for not doing very well with the revamped passing is you can't just hold it down until it turns yellow. How far you move the left stick and how long you hold the ball make a huge difference. I really didn't like the new passing system until I learned to control it a lot better and now I'm making competitions that would have been int before. Really take time to learn it and you'll find it's an amazing system if you can get it down. Otherwise I completely understand using what you're used to and that's what people need to do for this game. I may go back to the old kicking style for example, but haven't decided yet.
It’s an awesome system..ball trajectories are beautiful. Didn’t know they gave the ability to go back to the old kicking system. Wtf, that’s not fair for online play.
Kicking on all-American which is what the online ranked head 2 head is on kicking is not impossible but yesterday I played my friend on heisman and kicking field goals on that difficulty was literally impossible couldn’t even make a 20 yarder which is not real football. Better chance just going for it on 4th down.
I think it’s funny how people criticize this game for being a “Madden reskin” and then immediately change all the new features they can to match Madden (passing meter, kicking, complaining about new option button)
The Heat Seeker Window goes to TWO HUNDRED??? I assumed 100% was full activation. Also the passing change is super interesting, I haven't played Madden in 2 years but I used to be decent with placing balls. This new system has my throwing 4 ints a game, definitely trying that switch. I've watched several tips and tricks videos for this game and despite this only having a few, it's looking to be the most helpful. I'll dedicate my next win to you.
Throwing a lot of interceptions seems to be a major part of this game. They don’t have how to make the user throw normal incompletions yet. Every mistake is a pick.
How do we get our cpu defenders to stop running to get behind the ball carrier when in pursuit? Shit is pathetic and awful how horrible EA did with pursuit angles and programming.
I hate how all the videos are to help win more or beat the shitty cpu and ai or exploit the game and not how to actually make the game better thru sliders or anything

Broo thank you!! I had 3 happen in a game. Two on PATs and one on a punt with a normal rush??? This game takes low awareness way too seriously.

I agree. The average FG % in CFB is 85%. A realistic video game should be missing at least 1 out of 10 FG’s from 40+ yards out.

Passing lead is also REALLY good. Even with "small" you can lead pretty well even using revamped

Adjust speed parity to 30.
Reasoning I think is they overcompensate at 50.
If AI realizes they are slower, forces better angles.
