Nicely done & without all the techno babel. Straight forward and 2 the point. I've been looking at them on Sweetwater as well and I think I'm really going to get these. I just got a new traktor S4 DJ controller and definitely needed a decent pair of headphones because I want to start creating tracks with the 4-track controller and stems. Thank you so much bro...
do these sound flat or are they bass heavy? Im looking for a flat pair that will not break the bank. My options right now are between these ones and KRK KNS-8402
For flat I'd recommend the Focal Listen Professional headphones. The Mackie's aren't flat they have a boosted low end for sure. They are great to have on hand though for clients that want more low end than what they are hearing through the Focals.
I haven't used Alienware but I have played Apex Legends with both the Mackie MC-250 and my Focal Listen Professional and liked them quite a bit for that application. I play most often with the Focals just because they are more comfortable.
Hi! I actually have a pair of MC-150s (although I think they use the same cable) but I can't find a replacement lead for it anywhere! I've not been able to find the same, or a similar, cable with the locking part on it. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated! 🙏🏻
I've had the mc150's and 250's myself, and when I'm out shopping I just plug a random shorter 3.5mm aux cord into the earcup. works perfectly. the key mechanism on the oem cable has an outwards key so anything 9mm or less will fit. I haven't had any aux cables fall out or unplug easily either.
I just got some of these. I had listened tom some at GC but it may have been the 350s. I just tried them out in my home setup and my first impression is they are terrible. I think I might have some head congestion so I'm going to try them again in a day or 2 but my 15 year old Sony's still sound way better. The bass is huge.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! If you do get a pair, I'd love to hear your thoughts on them.

Hey, sorry to hear that! I haven’t looked for a replacement cable yet but I’d check fullcompass.com or Mackie directly.

@@jacksonredstone9530 that's great to know, thanks for sharing!

It's hard to imagine these sounding terrible. I'd definitely re-check when your head congestion clears up!
Do these have MICS for online meetings?
No, but you could purchase a headphone cable with a built in mic that would work.
@@SeawellStudios Thanks
how do these compare with the Audio Technica m50x?
I've only demoed the Audio Technicas in Guitar Center but the Mackie's have much more low end based off of my memory of those.
