Once you add liquid to the rice then the rice can’t soak up the moisture, because it’s already wet if you use essential oils or fabric softener. I would use plain rice if you want to reduce moisture in a certain area
I live in south florida, high humidity most of the year...dehumidifier attached to the a/c....this would be good for the cooler weather. Won't use the scent, makes me sneeze.
When you say “flavored oils“, do you mean essential oils or a food based oil?
Essential oils
Can you use essential oil?
Yes but using oils automatically absorbs in the rice don’t use but a lil drop or two !
What is it besides rice and essential oils?? Is it salt or baking soda?
They said salt love
Common salt
Baking soda would make it moist imo
Great idea 👍
4 oz white rice
3 tbs salt
15 drops oil
Mix

That's a deodorant!plaine rice,Yes! but once you coat the rice in oil it doesn't absorb. Keep it simple plain rice!

Isn't this food for mice?

Don’t think I’ll buy rice for this purpose unless I’m living in a jungle
