I was struggling bad with new exercises and my brain did not like any of it week after week I kept going back to the gym and expecting the best and telling myself I felt great before during and after and finally after a month of that I completed all my routines with no issues.

100 %! I have started saying to myself” I am feeling good” every morning and it makes me feel better along side some other kind of affirmations that makes me feel good. But I also have to say, breathwork helps me too with this, cause it can help my body feel safe which sents a message to my brain I am safe.

Dan PLEASE REPLY back.....that comment by that guy who says he is a neuroscientist just shattered by hope and faith. I have some tests to get done which I am scared to because of what the results will be (I also have chronic anxiety over my spasming symptoms which never let up) and I am watching your videos and thought about joining the group after my tests etc. I really am SCARED now. My brain latches on to the negative and I've been dealing with spasms/pain/digestive issues and hardly have an appetite. I grew up a healthy, happy kid in Allentown, PA. I want my life back w/o spasms, migraines, digestive issues that stared 7 months ago but got progressively worse the more I googled etc and health anxiety is really bad.

NEVER listen to someone saying recovery is not possible. It is and I see it EVERY SINGLE DAY.
Completely disregard this persons view. I've been living and studying this stuff for 25 years. And I have posted over 260 HOURS worth of content. Comments are almost universally positive with many around the globe getting well just implementing my FREE content.

Take the TMS/PDP Assessments to see if your symptoms are caused by a brain perceiving danger. Just from your story, I am almost certain that is the ONLY thing going on. The more fear you have, the more symptoms you have. That is not possible with a structural cause.
      Assessments are here: www.painFreeYou.com/start
You can and will get well when you disregard that persons comment and recommit to this proven methodology.
There's a website run by doctors that lend credibility to these concepts that I teach daily. In the end, this stuff works.

@@PainFreeYou Dan, Thank you for getting back with me. It is appreciated more than you will ever know. Can I private message you after I know more once all testing is done? I am having difficulty with feeling safe and hence, relaxing my mind and then body. Many doctors do not realize that what they say to a patient (especially if they are a very sensitive person who remembers everything) can really be destructive to someone. I saw a 60 Minutes short clip about Lourdes miracles. I've always believed in them yet am a bit lost right now. Again, thank you for your graciousness.

@@maryamighi6834 Take the two assessments now: www.PainFreeYou.com/start
If it says TMS, then your BRAIN is creating the symptoms and spasms based on the PERCEPTION of danger. Watch the videos. Take the assessment. I'm fairly certain you CAN and WILL get well. Fear is not working to your advantage.

I suffered trauma many years ago and now deal with CPTSD and chronic pain (especially spinal, pelvic and gastrointestinal issues. I believe that I have been dealing with TMS almost my whole life (I am 41 now). A couple of years ago I got into the healthiest relationship of my life. I just moved in with him February, to another city and away from my hometown I lived in my whole life, and also from a very stressful living situation (was living alone for years in a one bedroom apartment I couldn't afford anymore).
I have noticed ever since I moved here my boyfriend my pain signals have been going absolutely haywire. Even though I have so much to be happy for (home, loving boyfriend), and I feel safe with him, my body is telling me I have to be hypervigilant and telling me I'm not safe. All of my issues and pain have ramped up and I've been miserable. It's like my body isn't allowing me to be happy and decompress. That it's dangerous to do that. I'm just now making the connection and going through your videos and also doing things to send safety signals every day.
It feels like I am playing whack a mole with my symptoms. They change intensity, morph sensations, and move around, and seem to dissipate when I am doing a fulfilling activity, which gives me some sort of validation that at least some of this is TMS. It's so frustrating but I am thankful for your videos and resources to help me get back on track, and I'm hopeful. Was super excited to hear about your upcoming book, too! Got on the waiting list for info for it. Thank you so much.

Makes so much sense. If you think about something sad, you feel sad etc. It’s so simple but so true. I have related this to the crippling anxiety I’ve been dealing with recently. I keep ruminating (thinking) about how anxious I am when it’s just my interpretation of how I’m feeling. My brain believes it and it snowballs. Mind blowing…I’m not actually anxious, my brain just thinks I am.

Subscribed a couple weeks ago and have been enjoying your videos. It has given me lots to think about. I was curious if this approach can be applied to endometriosis and/or if you have any clients that have had success with this approach? I did score 48 on the test, but I also can't imagine not reacting to the pain or symptoms. I know that isn't all to the program and any improvement is worth it, but just curious about endometriosis as it affects many women. Thanks for all I've learned so far. 😊

Endometriosis is a real thing in the body. The key question is whether or not it should cause the level of pain you experience. The perception of danger determines pain levels. Teach the brain safety and it may very well lower the pain levels.

I comment this as a neuroscientist.
What you say its kind of true but it may take years and years of training to control your mind and change the brain chemistry and structure and most dont ever succeed. What you say is true but its not acchievable for most chronic pain patients. For some it might be a religious awakening and they heal in one second but this is not helping most chronic pain patients since there simply isnt belief, strenght or talent to restructure your brain and there are also pains that you cant avoid unless you can get to total zen state or what ever yo uwant to call it 8and this takes years and years of practise).
Its true that ruminating will not lead you anything bad wrose place and positive psychology has its place but most cases they need therapy and the therapist must be real good, getting a degree does not mean you are good, its just a paper.
2:25 you are talking such BS that I dont want to even comment on that. I dont know if you invent that stuff yourself but it sure isnt how science see this. Its obvious that you have read some things here and there but you dont have real unerstanding of these things, maybe you should start from the beginning of neuroscience and then start to make videos.

Hey Mr Scientist. How many people have you helped end their pain? Read the comments on my videos. Almost universally positive except for your "I'm a neuroscientist, so I'm smarter than you" BS. I've been paying attention to this stuff for decades. Pain scientists prove that the perception of danger is what turns on pain. My track record shows that my concepts actually work. The brain creates pain, so with the right information, the brain turns it off.
