Dont know what laptop you have but i got the realistic birth mod on mine and it works well surprisingly

Can you go home right after? What if you refuse to stay and leave? In real life, not the game.
@@krisryker666 no you usually have to stay, and if you leave they’d probably try and convince you not to because giving birth to a baby is a lot of work, your body went through a lot, so trying to go back to normal after giving birth to one just isn’t possible

I walked a lot better after giving birth! I also drove home after so to make it realistic for me they need cars!
Yeah I passed out three times and had to have a transfusion. I freaking wish it was like that.
Lmao I couldn’t move for 24 hours after I gave birth to my first child and I got in the shower an hour after I had my second 😅 I had an epidural both times because they gave me the oxytocin drip which is hell on earth 😭
I was in intensive care ICU after mine 😅❤
I just wanna mention that the Wohoo Wellness mod is modular. You can install only some of the packages, so there is no need to install the illness packages for anyone who doesn't want that. Also adeepindigo's Healthcare Redux has some nice pregnancy features, too.

I enjoyed the realistic birth mod in the beginning , but then I got annoyed with how long it was taking,which I guess is true to real life. Lol
is there a setting to make it more quick ?
If you shift click on the surgery machine, you can select "fully dilate" and the sims will go right to pushing :)
Yup, very true 😅 My first born took 24 human hours and I had to be induced. Whoever made this mod did a fantastic job.
@@sara.the.muggle I was 27, dealt with it for 17 until I was like f it, just give me the epidural since this a-hole doesn't wanna come out apparently😂 water didn't break yet or anything, I was still only 4cm. I wasn't induced or any though, we were both fine so no need. Just took forever. Literally played tug of war with the nurse to try and help push when it was time. Pushing alone was like 3-4 hours for me, maybe even 5. Felt like I got hit by a train the next day, every muscle in my body was dead. Also ripped, so that sucked. Felt like acid on my vag every time I peed. My friend though had a 2 hour birth. If only we were so luck right?🤣

I'm pretty sure you can "share big news" from the friendly menu without the mod. It's usually all the way at the end of the friendly menu, like 7 clicks or so (depends on how many mods you have, you get more interactions)

I love this! However I was not able to walk around after having my Epidural. I was numb from chest to feet. Plus side, didn't feel a single contraction🤣
Nope, and it lasts anywhere from 12-28 hours afterwards too!! I remember pinching my leg after and it just felt weird and tingly
@@JessiTheBestiGaming wow I didn't know it could last that long. I think I was able to get up and walk to the toilet about 2 hours after my son was born. Maybe. I don't know. The memory of it is all so hazy. But wasn't longer than a few hours
I remember slapping my leg and asking my husband “wtf is that?”. He told me in a very concerned voice that it was my leg and should he get the doctor. I’d had a c-section so I was completely out of it on morphine too but not knowing I had legs was pretty trippy 😂

stretch marks us a badge of motherhood. My husband asked why I got so many. I told him let's put a baby a third of your height in your body and we will see how your body fairs- I'm 61 inches in height and the baby was 20 inches

I have stretchs all over my legs lol, and I make laser procedures to produce collagenun so it won't appear.
I don't get why many people don't know how do we get them, like, our skin is stretching, why they wouldn't be there?

One mod that I think was needed was adeepindigo Healthcare mod for the pregnancy appointments for each trimester and health complications during pregnancy
I always lock the door to rooms I don't want guests to go in (mainly bedrooms and computer rooms) because it is so annoying that they just go and do anything BUT participate in the gathering.
Fun mods! I do wish things like stretch marks and body hair were base game.
unfortunately for body hair sims have a barbie anatomy so if they did have body hair i think they'd only add it on armpits or legs
They're doing Body hair. It's coming out with the High School pack. Not base game, but at least they're finally putting it in.

Oh my goodness that was thee worst, when my epidural only half worked ugh. Then when they tried again they went deeper and I can still feel the needle in my spine whenever I think about it, and the crunch sound, going into my spine makes me cringe every time. I so wish that this memory wasn’t so severe. I truly feel sympathy for any woman that had this happen to them as well. (Literally my body is tense writing this) 😬
this is one of the reasons i, as a doula, am such a supporter of natural childbirth even thought it made it harder for me lol.
I had the same thing happen to me with my first baby. Except the nurse didnt believe that I could still feel my left side. Then i had to be rushed back for an emergency c section. Which I ended up feeling it on the left side and had to be held still by several nurses so the surgeon could try to get the procedure done and quick as possible. He didnt realise I wasnt properly numbed until he had already made the cut and so he couldnt stop to try and numb me. It was a horrifying experience but my son is alive and healthy now so it was worth it.

There's a mods folder in the EA folder, you need to extract all to any packages (zipped files) to the mod folder and they should work fine
I suddenly feel really bad for Kate, but also amazed she can walk! Lol. I literally had that issue where the epidural worked TOO good...and my bottom half was like non existent to me lol. I promise i wasnt up walking though lol. I ended up having to basically puke my son out, as i never got the urge to push...or any feeling for that matter. But it sure made me sick!
This video was made two years ago, and the sims are blinking in and out of existence. And, this has happened to my recent sim's play through. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Major LOL!

here in my country, all use epidural if using natural labour, epidural is painful too but without using one is more painful than any other pain you ever know and because of someone that was not using epidural when coma because of the pain shock. my cousin is one of the people that does not use an epidural, she when a coma and thankfully after several months she awake and only remember the last memories she have is when she was a teenager. it took more time and patience for her process to remember. now she only remembers certain people and their names.

They might as well just make a sims that is for adults so we can have a more realistic gameplay. Cuz ps4 players cant get mods so that sucks. Or they could just give us an option to have a more adult version of it in the settings or something so u can turn it on and off for kids
