the reason the boobs are bigger right when giving birth and then deflate is because the sims 4 makes the boobs slightly larger during pregnancy, growing with each trimester. they go back to normal after birth. it happens irl too for a lot of people; their boobs are bigger when pregnant.

The full produce start on the 3rd day after baby is born. Otherwise large produce of milk without baby sucking would lead to mastitis and other problems, that could even kill the person who suppose to be breastfeeding.
Boons get bigger right before our flow too the nipples may hurt as well it’s all the same hormones at play even during pregnancy. Progesterone and estrogen

I think that the child will get the same body type than the parent of the child's sex, so the way to breed out the boobs would be to breed them with a sim with female features
The male townies don't have genetic information for boobs so the boobs gene is just passed on and on. I wonder if you used Alexander Goth the baby might get Bella's boobs??
I wonder what would happen if you only chose male sims who had mothers in-game to breed out the boobs? (off the top of my head: Eric Lewis, Gunther Munch, Raj Rasoya, etc) Would that make it more likely that their daughters had another set of features they could inherit instead of the extreme boobage? Because the way it seems to work in Sims, there's no way for other feminine-frame features to enter this family tree if the male sim has no female ancestors (i.e., is straight from CAS with no parents)? Or does the Sims genetic system just not even care about any data further than the parents themselves? I feel like that'd be interesting to test.
Sims 4 genetics only consider the parents. There are no recessive genes and the game can't pull genetic features from any other generations. Kind of funny how the game with the most advanced genetics system was Sims 2. Even Sims 3 was a massive step backwards in genetics. The only "upgrade" Sims 4 genetics has over the others is that CAS lets you make a biological child of two same-sex parents.
@@wendillon92 recessive genes do exist in the game, but they're rare Im doing that 10 generations challenge and the sim that im playing now has brown eyes, and her husband also has brown eyes, but their daughter got green eyes, the exact same green that her grandmother has.
@@wtfisthis96 That's not due to recessive genes, that's due to the eyes sharing the same flag value. In patch 5 when they added new eye colours they didn't assign new flags for them, they just connected them to already existing flags. Olive green hazel and light green have the same value. grey-brown hazel and light brown have the same value etc. It's a 50/50 shot which colour the sim will get if they inherit the flag. Recessive genes plainly aren't coded into the game, but a few happy coincidences can happen thanks to their flag mess up.

Yep! As I commented on the previous video, sims with knockers directly pass their jugs to children with the same attributes. This has been well-established in breed-out-the-strange challenges, where unusually shaped jubblies are staple.

I feel like this would have worked much better if there was another set of feminine genes in the mix. As the game works. this is the obvious result without that important factor. Male sims with mothers would probably make the most sense.
I had a glitch in the sims 4 today I had a brother, a sister, and parents in a save.. i left it running to get water, the sister was pregnant, with her BROTHER’S BABY. MATTERS WORSE! THEY ARE TWINS

I watch a shit ton of Sims 4 content (and am constantly looking for more to fill the Clare-shaped hole in my heart) and this is probably the most amusing Sims video I've watched, ever 🙏💗
Watching this I have a desire to see a challenge where a sim has a daughter. Then she and her daughter have a daughter by the same man. Then the sim, both daughters, and her granddaughter have a daughter by a third man. Now, all eight have a daughter by man number four. Probably can’t go more than that without kicking people out, but the idea is to see how messed up the family tree gets when every new man has a kid with every single woman in the family for as many generations as possible. Population will get out of control fast . . . as will male to female ratio since all babies have to be female or at least able to get pregnant.
There is some kind of genetic info passed down. I'm playing a... um... genetics challenge (27 kids and only 3 heirs, if that tells you how rare the traits are) and I was also repopulating the world with my family so some of the kids with one of the desired traits were allowed to reproduce. It sounds bad but it's just a challenge. Well, one of the kids of was born an heir, despite the parent only having one of the heir traits, this kid had both. Therefore, the information had to have been passed down somehow.

I don't have any mods that allow it, but my NSB family accidentally married into themselves. Maybe it's because they're aliens? You can see how they're related on their family tree, but my game doesn't recognize them as related at all (i.e. cousins and second cousins having children or getting married).

Good question. I always hesitate to create grandparents to see if they can add a probability to pass on certain features.
