Superb acting, timing and comedy done in precision form. Tony Randall was such an underrated actor and the greatest crime was that he never received an Emmy until the final season of the show. Rest in peace.
I’m a flight attendant. I was working a flight and a guy was looking out the window quoting “I much fear serious trouble in the fuselage, Frederick”. I replied “I much fear some nut is trying to read your lips”! There were high fives all around !
Oh my GOSH! I am 59 and my friend and I flying to Paris n Greece in high school used to recite it on plane...word for word CRACKING UP! It's in our journals....😁😅
Mine TOO! In fact, that summer I went to spend it in Greece with a friend of mine(also an Odd Couple junkie)...and that was 42 years ago!? Well, in our little diaries and reenactment on our flight to Greece...we have Never forgotten it and still Laugh!!!
Every time, yes, every time I am on a plane I utter those words. When I am with someone who doesn't know what I am doing, I love explaining. Honeymooners and the Odd Couple...best comedies ever made!
I am a flight attendant. I’ve only once had the pleasure of a passenger uttering that classic phrase whilst looking out the window: “I much fear serious trouble in the fuselage, Fredrick”. I responded “I much fear some nut is trying to read your lips “! We high fived and everyone within earshot was cracking up!
@@philipaiello3890 What a beautiful response! And a gracious sentiment. You just made my day! Thank you so much. Always remember “Once there was a man named Oscar”!😂
Yes! Have u ever read his memoir *"Me and Tony: A Story of Friendship?* When Jack Klugman spoke to their friendship and the power of human emotion... I cried...and cried... and cried... tears of Joy!
I want to see the part where Felix comes back from the bathroom. Oscar, wasn’t this plane full of people a minute ago? The funniest sight gag I’ve ever seen.
So many great lines in this episode. One of my favorites earlier, when Felix booked Belkin Airlines. Oscar says to the plane guy "what type of plane do you have?" "We fly a modified 727." "What you mean modified?" "It was just painted."
One of the Funniest scenes from one if the funniest episodes.. and they all were so funny as is. I must of seen it a dozen times or more and I just watched it again tonite and burst out cackling was all out hysterical by the time the lip reading and then frantic escape past the fat lady happened... They had the best chemistry .. RIP you two geniuses
I agree but to be fair, finding chemistry like what tony and jack had in this show was pretty rare. Although, things were obviously done better back then for sure.
Actually, “The odd couple “ was on at 7:00 and 11:00 for a while. It was the 11:00 show before “Cheers”. The show was not popular nationally. But it was very popular in NYC.
Charlene Darling, real name Maggie Peterson from the Andy Griffith show os the stewardess . Strange to hear her real voice without that hillbillies accent
Wait, the flashback episodes with Gloria and Blanche showed them in the Carribean, where Felix berates Oscar for dressing in baseball clothes to go on a plane. And later Blanche chided Oscar for flirting with a stewardess. Did Felix not go on the plane with them, did he take the fastest boat ever that allowed him to arrive at the same time as the rest?
🤣🤣🤣 one of my favorites .. I watched this as a little boy and here I am 53 and laughing my heart out . They were the best. God rest their souls!
Superb acting, timing and comedy done in precision form. Tony Randall was such an underrated actor and the greatest crime was that he never received an Emmy until the final season of the show. Rest in peace.
What?? I had no idea! OMG, he and Jack were the best ever. No one funnier.
The line "I much fear serious trouble in the fuselage, Frederick" has been one of my favourites since I was a kid!

they were super amazing Jack Klugman and Tony Randall love them and they were amazing.
You inspire sarcasm! One of the best sitcoms with two of the best comedic actors ever created!

I remember sitting with my parents and brothers watching this - All of us in tears 😂 laughing so hard - those were the days.

Oscar, wasn’t this plane full of people a minute ago?
The funniest sight gag I’ve ever seen.
I hear you. I’d get high at my safe old house and watch. Safe and high and laughing.
This is one of those shows you could watch again and again yet still laugh aloud.
Three of the funniest minutes in TV history. Tony Randall in peak form!
I still watch these clips when I need a laugh Thank you Tony and Jack for giving us this !!!
Tony Randell should have got a Emmy for this episode..lol lol it was too funny
He said "Look at that!" Like she's not human. LOL!! There's an enormous woman blocking the aisle. Roflmbo!!!
the LOOK AT THAT has always killed me, LOLOLOLOL. Me and my cousins still use it when goofing on people.

Absolutely one of the greatest comedic matchups Randall and Klugman
Great show, wish they would run these on those old sitcom channels.

Breathtakingly good writing and acting -- what happened to talent like this??
Writers write reality shows these days, less difficulty.
Agreed!
The writing was so brilliant... and the talent that was able to transform it to the small screen was unmatched. These two in particular.
I agree but to be fair, finding chemistry like what tony and jack had in this show was pretty rare. Although, things were obviously done better back then for sure.
Love when Klugman says to Randell ''You have one rotten line.'' !!!!!!!!! One of the best shows in Hollywood history.
That redhead was deee-licious!
“Felix, you’ve got one rotten line, you know that?” 🤣
I'm dying. This is me on every plane flight nowadays!
Best weeknight lineup ever: NYC, 80's, channel 11. Odd couple at 11:00, Honeymooners at 11:30, Star Trek at 12:00 and Twilight Zone at 1:00.

How can anyone give this video a thumbs down. The best comedy show ever. 👍
George Clooney must have used Felix as an acting reference for scenes where he's playing an anxious character.
Freaking hysterical! I'm literally LMFAO. 😆🤣
The flight attendant played “Charlene Darling” on “The Andy Griffith show “.
Thank you. I was trying to figure where I recognized her from
Yes she just passed away

Should have included the clip when Felix became hysterical before getting on the plane and Murray slapped him across the face.
OMG. Tony Randall owned this sitcom.
Felix Unger... is everything.
Classic hilarious entertainment. Too bad they don't make 'em like that anymore!!
Love this show please post whole episodes
"Look at the SIZE of that woman!" Cracks me up every time.
2:14 . . look at that . . look at the size of that woman
LMAO!! I have never seen this episode... HILARIOUS!! Can you show the whole episode?! xoxoxo
Long before Niles Crane.... there was Felix Unger.....
Has everyone here watched, Quincy? I'm sorry but I can't take him seriously. He'll always be Oscar...Oscar...Oscar, Oscar, Oscar!!!
The guy laughing in the background lol lol
Far out, Charlene Darling

I think that the big woman played Crazy Rhoda Zimmerman’s sister.
"There's an enormous woman blocking the aisle."
LOL!!!
Never noticed they have a sloppy headrest cover in front of Oscar
00:22 they didn't fly at 32,000 ft back then. FL320 didn't become available until RVSM
These poor kids today have no idea of real comedy
It is our duty to pass it on.
@@meadster308 - Yes I agree 100%. We should pass this on to our kids. This is what comedy should be. Not the crap they’re showing today..

An often asked question . Why aren’t passengers given parachutes? Because they would get sucked into the engine.
The best...

“Oscar I’m trapped in the Fat woman”. 😂. That line would instantly get this Classic show cancelled in today’s Woke society.
