Gel Press CMYK print, can it be done?

    Taking a skull I created using AI, I split the channels in Photoshop to get a rough CMYK breakdown and added a halftone pattern. It worked in my mind, time to see if it worked on the ‪@GelliArts‬ plate.

    Wow, this is a really great way to use gelli print.
    Do you prepare your image directly in Photoshop/Illustraor or do you have a different process?
    Do you have a ressource to learn how to prepare those plates? Is it like when making multicolors screen printing plate separation or do you need to adjust the plates?
    I haven’t seen this type of gelli print yet and it’s really awesome. Great work

      Thank you so much for the kind words 🥰 Yup nothing special when separating the colours. I use Photoshop to do it. The only thing I do is adjust each separation to make sure the colour is pitch black and the whites are white. But all up its quite similar to a screen printing process.
