Everyone is getting so grown up! Salah just gets more beautiful everyday, and the boys are such hard workers. With my Houdini goat, I tied her to a tire wheel, the metal part. She was new to the herd, and not quite integrated. All this did was keep her from getting to far away from the enclosure. After a month or so, she was more comfortable with her new herd and stopped trying to find her old family. Hope that helps.

Wow your Cukes and Tomatoes are growing ... I see you pruning Cukes again..This is the 1st year in 10 that I do not have a garden😢 Miss it soooo..
While my cukes were growing I had them up like yous do outside .. and would just prune lots of the leaves ... And as I harvested some one told me to leave a little piece of Cuke on the stem of plant and more would grow in that spot .. it sure worked awesome 👍👍 I harvested so much from 12 plants... We ate all we wanted pickled lots and gave to neighbors all summer long 👍😊
God's Continual Blessings to you all 🙏😇💝

Interesting watering system there. Great family team work. How full did Hazel get? She would rather be sscratched than eat. LOL. WOW! That second high tunnel has tomato plants taller than you. You are correct on our roles as caretakers. A lot of humans though do not want to do that!! Rain is very relaxing. From God. Will put you to sleep if you lay down. I love mini cucumbers for snacking with hummus or dips….they cost $3 for four little ones……I like them better then large ones….
We love sweet pickle relish and using jalapeños along with cukes makes a great hot relish…..
My favorite sandwich is toasted bread with sliced cuke and homemade Mayo……
Take problem child and tie her to a few cinder blocks and put her in a weed patch you need cleaned out…our jumper always headed for the poison ivy on trees and vines, we just kept watch so she didn’t tangle up her chain and moved her about….
Too many cukes then dehydrate them and make into a powder, great to make dressing with……add to Mayo, add to Italian dressing or just add to smoothies.
