Guys always forget to lock their shoot and not just the button, but the actual lever that goes into the slot and then there’s a lot of guys that won’t use the chain for the flop over and I’ve seen those flip over when they hit a bump hard enough. Also three points of contact when you get out of truck been there done that gotten out of a truck and fallen because I didn’t have much of a grip on anything when you get out of Truck towards you’re likely to do the whole slip, trip and fall. But yeah, that was a good video .
Thanks for the reply over here in uk our concrete trucks come in 3 sizes ,in metric sizes ,4 wheel truck carry 4 cube ,6 wheeler similar to yours 6 cube and 8 wheeler 8 cubes ,I know you guys in us use yards so not sure about your weights
Yea we use yards max we can carry is 4 yards but I just looked some of those up and some other states have trucks similar to that here in California majority of the trucks look like this due to the weight of the truck and the weight the roads can hold over here and it’s California so there more picky 😂

Scrub your truck, scrub it some more, just when you think you're done scrubbing you gotta scrub it again. I've been doing this job for over 2 years and I have found out. It is hard on your body when you have bad shoulders and a bad back. Not the hardest job physically, but lots of awkward movements in this job. So there is lots of potential to hurt yourself. More entertaining than politics
Do you need your fill your water tank?
Yes always need to fill it when we get back from a job just in case we need to add water to the concrete on the job and also to wash down and clean up
I'm starting out and training this week, my trainer just doesn't care and hasn't shown me half of this stuff.
Dang which area are you in? I'm suppose to start new month too I'm hoping I learn everything I need since it's 2 weeks of training
I've always wondered what the 2 wheels in the back do?
i dont think my boss would be happy taking all that time to wash down when we where doing maybe 10 or 12 loads to a pour and the plant was waiting for lorries lol
Why do you have to wash it down.? Thxs
why drop the tag during loading it could pick the tandems off the ground if the pressure is set for a 10yd load
I stop them before they hit the ground we all load like that here to prevent the concrete from spilling all over the booster axle
Also you can have your pressure set low and it won’t lift the axles.
