@@Jason-gg4lm Not even luck lmao. The offensive coordinator didnt want the 1st strings to get injured more like how Cam Peoples got injured last game against Troy. When they played A&M, they had first string running backs like Noel and Peoples in the WHOLE game, and won. This game they played more 2nd strings so as not to injure the star players. The old offensive coordinator got moved to the rungame, so the new offensive cd didn't make the right playcalls. The few times the first strings did come out they were connected to TDs (ie Deshawn Davis, Cam Peoples). Completely blame the offensive coordinator, wasn't luck.
After watching Middle Tennessee handle Miami today, I looked at their schedule to see who their one loss was against. James Madison. Beat them 44-7. In fact, this is the first game this season that JMU has played that wasn't a blowout in their favor.
Well, the other game was against Norfolk State and they are a fairly weak FCS program, so that was gonna be a blowout. I don't know how we beat MTSU 44-7, caught them asleep I guess. They were a seven-win team last year. I know there's some other JMU fans getting hyped right now but I think they need to slow their roll. We're a really good team for one who's in their first year in FBS but the Sun Belt is tough.

But since moving to the FBS, it’s been all Appalachian State domination in the Sun Belt, also 4-1 in bowl games to start in the years they win the conference. So it’s about time someone comes in and really pushes Appalachian State. Also were the First to win the Sun Belt conference title game, and the last team to win the conference when it was won by best overall record and not by the conference title game, another thing about Conference title games is they give time for teams to adjust and make changes they didn’t the first time. App State would be more than ready for the next rematch.
WOW this is an impressive game because JMU just joined FBS this year and are starting 3-0. (1-0 against FCS and 2-0 against FBS) so I now see JMU as a really good team and also one of the best FBS starts I've ever seen.

As a JMU student, we had a small watch party in our building with about 50 people. Only 6 of us were left at halftime, but people slowly started coming back when JMU started scoring. It was a super fun time, and the real ones that were watching the whole time know who we are
The Sun Belt gets the award for most exciting conference right now! Also, I can't help but notice Todd Centeio tearing it up for James Madison while Colorado State (the school he left) looks lost in the woods. He must be enjoying that. He even beat up on Middle Tennessee in week one, which throttled CSU a week later.
My team played JMU in the playoffs last year and my takeaway from that game was this isn't an fcs team, they are a team that could legit win the sun belt in their first year. Them and NDSU were on a whole different planet than elite FCS teams

They got App State here, but App State is still finding themselves. It usually takes them a few games to really get going in the season. 2-2 very easily can become 5-2 for Appalachian State. They’re built that strong. But they have to be coached better and to be able to put away games, when the momentum starts changing, they gotta learn to come out and dig deep.
