Here is 6 signs your crush like you back. Attraction can come in all different forms. Love is love! Most of the time, we talk about romance and attraction in the context of a man and a woman. But that isn’t always the case.
Unfortunately, there hasn’t been a lot of research into the LGBTQ elements of attraction - at least not nearly as much as heterosexual attraction. As time goes on, we’re sure that more data will be made available. But for the time being, here’s a few signs of attraction that we found that think applies to LGBTQ couples!…

You should say it like a joke, when you're both tired after a party or something and look for her/his/their reaction! Or maybe the classical one : just let know that you could be interesting in someone the same sex as you
You can also speak about someone else who is in a gay relationship (real or not ;3) in order to see his/her/their reaction

Think of it as a good test of character! If they don't return your feelings, then a good person will still be friends with you and you can both move forward! If they're shitty, they'll ghost you and you don't want to be with them anyways~

It was kind of awkward afterwards and we were a bit more distant (which was probably also good for me to get over her) but now we are as close as before. edit: Im happy to see that I'm not the only one who felt this. :< being infatuated and at the same time, frustrated that I can't do anything about how I felt, makes me heart broken. We've been classmates for 4 years now, me being in love with her since 7th grade, and the yrs pass it became serious, but I didn't do anything about it. She knew by 8th grade, but I denied it because I'm afraid of people saying something. Now that we have just graduated this 2020, I just intended us to remain friends. A major difference between straight and gay/bi/queer people in being attracted to someone is that there can be an additional layer: determining their identity, particularly if you're meeting them in a non-queer context. That includes to what degree they might be out of the closet, which can add complexities and sensitivities. Accordingly, it doesn't always work to simply ask them outright. There can be a lot of trying to figure things out carefully.
There can be also be a lot of indirect and non-verbal communication, such as physical proximity, mirroring behaviour or clothing styles, shy eye contact, etc.
It can also vary between generations, backgrounds, or the social and cultural environment of where the person grew up. Some whom have grown up in less accepting times or areas may be much more cautious, especially if the threat of physical danger, bullying, humiliation, social complications, etc were possibilities that affected them.

Yeah, for me as an asexual, if I open up to you and find myself catching feelings I'll try to spend more time with you. Number 4 applies to me as well but to an extent. Most times I'm opened and just say "hey, I like you. Wanna know each other more and see where it leads?"

However, in the future I think it would be helpful to get an lgbtq person or two involved in the making, whether it be script or (preferably) narration. So one time I was hanging out with my friends and one of them is my crush. I was sitting down with my arms behind my back. My crush/friend came up to me, and sat between my legs. I enjoyed this video but it did feel like it wasn't really specific to lgbtq crushes. It felt more like a list of general crush tips that you just mentioned apply to both straight or gay attraction. I'd love to see a video with some more specific tips! There's a lot of stuff that's unique to or more common in lgbtq dating that's important to explore. I know I had a lot of learning to do when I started dating girls, hehe
