Can someone help me out? So my question is futures is also forex right? Because futures represents a contract to buy or sell indices, metals, energy and currencys? Also what are futures propfirms? Are they different than "normal" propfirms like ftmo and alpha capital. Are futures propfirms regulated and normal ones not?
@jorikkuipers1451 yes and no, futures are a type of instrument that you use to trade different assets. Forex is one of those assets. Those most common one instrument people use to trade Forex is CFDs(Contracts For Difference); with CFDs, you calculate lot size & with Futures you calculate for contract size. Remember, Futures, CFDs, & other instruments are an umbrella that have assets under them. they are the tool you use to trade the assets. He is very honest, because have been trading prop firms for 2 years believe me you hardly get 4 payouts before you blow that account, one day I got stopped out after weekend even though I was more than 2 percent profit

i was in process learning since 11/05/2021 , studing from videos online ,this interview with this trader one of the best things i discover in internet , i realy appreciate all the informations he said , i'll follow him because hhe give a lot of true value to the communuty , ps: : i happy because all what he said was true and that approach what helped me to become profitable .. and i was comparing what he is saying with my journey and my processs and all the pain i had to go throw to become finaly profitable
Great interview! But it is also only 1-3% of the futures and stock traders that are profitable. The instruments CFDs, Futures, Options, and Stocks do not matter, what matters is that you have your mind in the right spot and a strategy with an edge. The mastermind behind COT data trading is Larry Williams, all folks that talk about it are just students of Larry Williams..
What i can say is that if the technicals dont move the price then what are the chances of this trend line being so accurate ? Like if technicals were not moving the market we would see crazy market without patterns but we see the opposite we see market that forms patters this means that price is purposefully made to do this patterns technically witch means that this is the footprints of what will happen U do not need fundamentals to be profitable u need good technical knowledge to be consistant Lets say i know the stock will go up but i do not know when ? this shows lack of consistency But when i draw the trend line and we see a break I KNOW when it will move because i have a reason to enter the market so fundamentals are just changing the trend conditions but not so important in trading in general because u can see technically what is the trend or when it is finished or when it will end by seeing. weakness from candle formation + important levels 😊
he never said that he ignores technicals, he said he uses them to time the market after getting a fundamental directional bias, to be more clear, he uses supply and demand zones to enter the market after fundamental analysis
I find myself disagreeing with some things he's saying only because there are people who are in fact making money via trendline breakouts. There are people making money from technical trading..scalping ultimately doesn't rely heavily in underlying market movers because it's a scalp. Smaller time frames scalp, you're good to go. Overall good stuff. I'm doing a lot of what he's saying especially in rush management side
I really enjoy listening to Bernd. He’s a real trader but so are the people at SMB capital, a real trading desk in NYC. Lance Breitstein is an 8 figure A book trader who scalps the markets so there is your one example.
I like Bernd. Charges up to $10'000 for his course...He is a good trader, but a even better Marketing Guru. Be Skeptical of High Fees: High prices don’t always equate to high value. Be wary of exorbitant fees for basic information.
