How to spot a fake Seiko Alpinist on ebay

Today I found a too-good-to-be-true deal on ebay for a beautiful Seiko Alpinist. Here's how you can tell it's FAKE!!!

Very helpful video! I also noticed the real watch has a smooth leather band whereas the fake has a (probably fake) crocodile pattern pressed in it.

Price is the biggest red flag.

To be fair, the genuine article is not a great value proposition.
The "dead giveaway " for me is the Seiko 5 etching on the caseback, referring to Seiko's entry-level automatic range which can be had for something between the two prices quoted here.
