I've been watching this movie at least once a year since it came out. This scene always chokes me up. So much raw emotion. Rebekah del Rio is incredible
The movie is amazing. My personal favorite. We can give a basic premise: a aspiring actress moves to hollywood, trying to break out, and things get weird. Really can't say much more. It's pure David Lynch, dreamy, abstract, and his unique mix of disturbing and beautiful at the same time. This video is litterally taken from the movie, and is probably the most important/central scene of it all. It will (well... sort of, it's a David Lynch movie of course) make sense when you watch it, and make it all the more powerful.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for listening to this. You are absolutely one of my favorites…….and this is one of the best vocal performances ever. The story behind it is amazing as well.
'Mulholland Drive' - a great David Lynch film, that deserves and requires multiple viewings (like a piece of art)... Despite the drama and emotion, I think it's fair to say, the film is also very funny in places - the film director, Adam Kesher, 'getting even' with his adulterous wife (who, he finds in bed with Billy Ray Cyrus's character), by taking her jewellery box, and covering its contents in PAINT, being a particularly humorous moment.
Hi Dereck, this video is from "Mulholland Drive", a terrific but very confusing film by David Lynch, with Naomi Watts and Justin Theroux among others. Take care!
The first time I heard of her was in Twin Peaks season 3 .I immediately loved her song No Stars.
