These are beautiful! If you wanted to make the stamping go quicker you could use tape or a rubber band to hold together all the letters in "journal" so you can stamp the whole word at once. Thank you so much for sharing. You are so inspiring and I love your videos.
I definitely need to use my sewing machine more often for crafts. I love the.look that you put into.your embellishments with stitching. But, I can't just leave it.out, without being covered when I'm nott right there. Our kitties have an obsession with thread, one likes to eat it, which got him into a lot of trouble when he was a young cat. Let's just say, our vet saved his life. I should make a decorative cover for it, since I have enough scraps.☺️ Gotta protect those sneaky boys. Loose thread is a big "Uh-oh, no-no" here. I have some of those individual letter stamps, same set, I think. Thanks for the ideas in how you use them!
Natasha, I am doing this to conquer my own perfectionism! I hear that inner scream too! Thanks for the encouragement! I know you can’t remember everything you say in every video but you are an inspiration!
Quick tip for stamping words with those individual letter blocks. Line up your letter stamps to form a word, then wrap a length of washi tape around to bind the letters together. Makes stamping words much easier and less time consuming. These bookplates are lovely. TFS.
OMG right? A few other people mentioned other methods too, and it just never even crossed my mind to do it that way! I love the washi tape method, I must remember it!!
Now i really want wooden letter stamps, not too expensive on amazon (going to order, cannot resist after watching this video). I've never done that but i want to see if i can hairspray and later varnish the labels after stamping... Thanks for the inspirations, as usually!
Another alternative is to buy "click together" stamps. Sets come in differing sizes and fonts. I have upper; lower; and symbols on order from Amazon. Two days until arrival!
These are lovely. An upholstery shop in my town is going out of business, maybe I could pick up some scraps they have. Scraps to them may do several book covers along with the bookplates. Another word could be "Dreams" or "Blessed"
There is an easy way to print onto your fabric with your printer. You iron freezer paper to the back of your fabric. You cut the piece down to an 8 1/2 X 11 and adhere it to a sheet of copy paper, pop it on your printer and it goes through just alike paper. It works best with cotton fabric but I have made labels like this and it is so easy.

I love it when you say, "It doesn't matter"...
Let the perfectionist in you shut up. IT IS ALL PERFECT !!!!!!
I love that nothing goes to waste! Very thoughtful that scrap pieces, even scrap pieces of scrap pieces, get a second life.
Thank you! Nothing goes to waste in my house!! And if I happen to go to other peoples houses, then nothing goes to waste there either :)
Good way to use use snippets of fabric, lace, etc! TFS LOVE the journal labels!

Fabulous idea!! I wonder if you can re-stamp over the one that you glued. Maybe it’ll give a cool shadow effect?

HOW do you keep your letters so straight? Ha ! Mine would be all over the place! Nice job!
Haha every time I put that stamp down I'm screaming in my head that its not straight enough!

Would it not be easier to tape all the letters together and print them as one long stamp? TFS 👍
It definitely would, only it never even crossed my mind hahaha!!!!!! Thanks for that
