When you tighten the dampening, does it lower the ride height too, or just stiffen the ride? Does the suspension ever bottom out like your car sinks to the ground? Thanks for this review. Pricey set but thinking about pulling the trigger on these coilovers instead of the BC's.
No the dampening affects the shock by changing the jounce and rebound movement, the ride height itself is adjusted by the coil threads, check out my last video I changed the preload and height of the coilovers there. Hasn’t bottomed out since I made my adjustments to the preload
Mine came assembled and ready to install right out of the box, only reason I made changes was to suit my driving style. I recommend giving the factory settings a try before adjusting anything 👍🏽
