My 1994 Toyota Supra Turbo goes from an original automatic, to a brand new 6 speed manual from Grannas Racing! This is the Tremec T56 Magnum F included in the Gr700 kit. All of the work was done by myself, in my garage, on jack stands! Let's get started!

Thank you for all the helpful info! I was really hoping you had got the Tilton ST246 that Grannas offers. I'm digging for feedback on that clutch. I know Joel says it's an easy driving clutch, but his reference point is a pretty wild car lol I need to hear from more people.
I’m thinking of doing this to my auto. Any advice or re-does for me? I’ve got good tools in my garage, did you mention this is some thing I can do on my own?
What do you think needs to be done to counter that noise on idle that makes the transmission sounds like a box of rocks rolling?
How are you liking the McLeod clutch? Looks like a single disc. I’m thinking about going the rst double disc

Buddy of mine did a ZF 8HP swap in his auto TT. That tranny swap fully transformed the car.
Losing traction on the front end may have to do with 255 wide tire on an 8" wheel. Knock down to a 245

Hey I do not, I run it in true twin now, aka the “TTC” that all the old Supra forums talk about. The ECU plug and play setup did not have a base map pin out for one of the VSV solenoids that activated the second turbo, so I simply did the vacuum line reroute and called it a day instead of changing my pin out, it’s a more linear powerband now

My 94 NA Supra (owned 23yrs) motor & tranny are stock “no mods”. Is this standalone for modified / turbo Supra ? Can it be used on stock Supra like mine?
Ian, which pins did you use on the AUX plug for your temp sensor?
Ian do you know if I can just put them on right out of the box ? Or do I have to make adjustments on the height beforehand ?
Mine came assembled and ready to install right out of the box, only reason I made changes was to suit my driving style. I recommend giving the factory settings a try before adjusting anything 👍🏽

So you don't need to reinstall the Transmission exhilary Fan??
Nope, since I have a 6 speed now, I didn’t need that fan anymore. I hear some people with autos go with an aftermarket spal fan or don’t run a fan at all
Hello Ian, thanks for this series. Have a question, does the firewall have indentations already where the holes need to be drilled for the clutch pedal? Currently looking to do this swap myself.
would you recommend these when considering comfortability?
When you tighten the dampening, does it lower the ride height too, or just stiffen the ride? Does the suspension ever bottom out like your car sinks to the ground? Thanks for this review. Pricey set but thinking about pulling the trigger on these coilovers instead of the BC's.
No the dampening affects the shock by changing the jounce and rebound movement, the ride height itself is adjusted by the coil threads, check out my last video I changed the preload and height of the coilovers there. Hasn’t bottomed out since I made my adjustments to the preload

did you leave the termination jumper in place then? no need to remove it since this is the only gauge youre running right...

try redline heavy duty gearbox oil. it almost stops all noise. we use it on some of our solid flywheel cars and it stopped noise

any reason you didn't go with a custom wire harness?
No reason to right now since the plug and play adapter harness is inexpensive with the ECU purchase
7:54 Can you tell me what differential ratio you are running? I’m trying to choose the right differential for my 2JZ Mk3 Supra for a T56 setup. I want to be around 2500RPMs at 80mph in 6th gear.
The stock Auto TT rear diff from the MKIV is 3.76 ratio, 200mm. Not the best ratio since the gears are longer, but this will get you close to the 2500 RPM at 80mph in 6th. Maybe a bigger tire will help too , I’m on a 275/40/17 rear
@@buildit_ian Do you have the close ratio or long ratio T56 trans?
Sounds like a throw out bearing rattle, that would drive me crazy personally
I thought throw out bearing noise occurs when you push the clutch in. some input shaft bearing noise is normal especially on older Hondas and evos.

I actually don’t know, I have heard of people being able to connect via software, I’ll find out
It's an option to customize the "intro" screen with whatever you want. Not sure about much else
Did your car run rich with the oem auto trans with the t56? Mine smokes a bit since I did the swap.

I have a TT as well and thinking of squeezing all the power out of them before going single.
