- If you use Bluetooth headphones with your Fire TV you are probably aware of the lack of functionality to turn the volume up and down using the Fire TV remote, if your Bluetooth headphones don’t have built-in volume controls, such as Airpods.
If you’ve been frustrated with this lack of volume control, you will be pleased to hear that thanks to a new software update, this problem is now a thing of the past. If you want to find out some more, then let’s go and take a look in this video.

For Firetvstick 4K, you have to make these additional steps to control the Bluetooth soundbar volume, with the Firetvstick remote. (It's already possible)...
Settings - Equipment Control - Manage Equipment - Add Equipment - Soundbar - (select the brand) + Follow the testings...
Amazing Tanya. I did it. It works after I updated TV fire stick and down load volume booster for my Bluetooth speaker connect to TV . Thank you for your support and all info.

Many thanks for the info, I used to use the precise volume control app. I found it easier to set up maybe 3 presets at 25, 50 and 75% as an example. I have checked on my firetv cube 2nd generation and the update has been installed and works great, including the volume slider graphic at the top of the screen.

The Bluetooth volume control still does not work on the 4K fire stick even after everything being updated…

I have latest update on my Firestick but the remote volume doesn't work when device is connected to my Google Nest Mini speaker via Bluetooth.
Does your workaround resolve this?
I do not have this issue so cannot confirm but it is definitely worth a try.
Last I heard this update works on the regular fire sticks only. It doesn't work on the firestick 4K. Is that still the case?

@@FireTVSticks ok I finally updated it. D/L app did everything you did but say i go back to RUclips still loud idk why. When i go back the media always back on a 100. I saved it when i set volume. You have any idea? If not thanks anyway

am using fire stick lite version. it have not any volume button.i am control volume by tv remote.but am connect earbuds via blueetooth but volume touch controll not in earbuds. how to controll volume? can i try via alexa mic on fire stick remote?

I can control the volume with just my Wireless Bluetooth headphones. My max volume is only 15 which is ok for me. I have the Beats Pro with their own volume controller
