The helicopter update is the greatest thing to ever happen to this game. Theres just nothing better than getting on a chopper & FLYING to your destination. Completely different vibe & totally changes the dynamics. This is just the start boys & imagine where it will be in a couple patches from now :)
I saw a mod with fast roping from a chinook. Was clunky and definitely needed work but a good step in that direction. A fast rope option in the wheel menu with a nice, fluid animation comes to mind as a viable method.
That first pickup was epic, they were waiting for us to get in the chopper and attack. Also got that tank footage when we got stuck in mutaha intersection, forget black hawk down... that was one epic fight, and we made it out !
I really like the fact that helis are not tooo OP because it's so easy to destroy them and you still need a good pilot, it's not as simple to manage as a loggy
honestly you are the example for most or almost all squad leads should be following, you give precise and informative commands, clear objectives, and always knows what to do when it comes time to improvise. love your vids
@Kristian Roch Jacobsen | Well, it depends how the mission maker sets up the mission. There are base-game modules you can add that will make your units reviveable.
@@areyou0k98 the heavy transport is better at taking damage and can handle a sudden drop in altitude although many people prefer the little bird for the speed
Hard to get perfect as it comes down to desync a heli pilot and someone else with 20 ping will be smooth however 1 of you has 80+ and it will not be smooth. You don't notice it much on playere because its slower moving but vehicles it will always be more noticeable.
they look identical to the modded models it's insane I hope the modders got a tip of the hat for starting what they couldn't do fps wise I remember that was a major issue with helis just massive frame drop.
If they could smooth out the collective slider so you could more accurately make adjustments and also helis feel slow as hell so if they could speed them up that would be very helpful
Not sure if u know this or not but you can make a hotkey for all commands, move, attack, ect. In controls. That way u dont have to press T and find the command everytime. I got move order set to left alt and attack set to right alt. Makes it way easier

I was hoping for a hind for the Russians. Just to give some variation on the game dynamics between factions... less troops and air mobility, more fire power, like dumb rockets and a nose gun ... and US more troops and faster rotation with the black hawks ... but this is amazing nevertheless.

Add the ocean/large lakes/rivers and boats. Nothing like a good boat ride while helicopters fly over you.
We still need more helicopters, something to give CAS, like the mh6 or even an ah64
