Album: Double Eclipse (1992) Track 04 Hardline: Johnny Gioeli (Voice) Josh Ramos (Guitar) Michael T. Ross (Keyboard) Jamie Brown (Bass) Atma Anur (Drums)
I was very fortunate to be able to get my hands on this album early 90's as they were pretty much unknown over here in the UK, but, man... fucking awesome memories of listening to this album.
Yeah, The Grunge scene pretty much killed our beloved 80's Groove that we were so use to !! Then, . . . came this soul killing, Ear Murdering Shit called RAP - HIP HOP and then this shit called Gangster Rap came out. That right there was it for me. Then, Once The Country Scene hit the air waves, it was like a breath of fresh air . . . and it got me back into listening to music again ;-) So, I broke out all my old albums and found what I didn't have .. right here ;-) Thank God for RUclips!
Why aren't ORIGINAL members listed here? Neil Schon & Joey Gioeli were the guitarists, Todd Jensen the bassist and Deen Castronovo the drummer. Ramos, Ross, Brown and Anur had nothing to do with this CD.
I was just thinking the same thing. I have the original release somewhere. I always looked at liner notes. Atma shouldn't even be compared to Deen. So this is a bizarre mistake.
Why can you not find any of the original hardline songs on Spotify this is my childhood right here I have old cds from my dad but nothing to play it on 😅
Wrong Josh Ramos is not on this record are Neal Schon ( he tells the story of the song Steve Vai gave to him a Ibanez 7 Strings white guitar and on the record booklet Schon he mentions the Vai guitar gift ) . Ramos appear on 2002 record Hardline 2 and even JOnathan Cain makes some takes on the record for Hot Cherrie intro Synth !
If this song doesn’t make you air drum, you’re dead inside. What a jam!!
I unconsciously started banging my head :)
That Deen Castronovo magic!
You are literally not human if this song doesn’t make you air drum/headbang
No shit right...!! I used to play drums in high school in the 80's ...this jam gets me wired...!!
So, the guy who made all those legendary Sonic jams was an actual fucking legend all this time. Huh.
Randomly heard on Spotify lucky I did love it
Same!
Me three lol
They kick ass, I’d recommend listening to more. I’m gonna put Doctor Love on, myself 😁
This song absolutely kicks ass! Hardline annihilates the fuck out of my mind!

These guys could have ruled the world
+evan vineyard this is true. if this had been released in the early 1980s -- there were so many beyond-awesome songs on this LP

You should listen to Crush 40
It's Neal Schon on the guitar, Josh plays on the next album.
BTW phenomenal track!
So sick.Kicks you hard and pulls you in.
My kind of band.
What an incredible song. Just heard this on GOOGLE PLAY and couldn't get on here fast enough to gear it again. Awesome!!
Found these guys through Deen's and John's new release. Great stuff. Can't believe they weren't bigger.
They cashed in the same time shitty Nirvana took over the rock scene.
It's just a week I heard these guys. I wonder why they dint make it big. They are truly awesome.
They were at the end of the hair band era. If this album was released in 1988 it could have been different.
Yeah and the guitarist and drummer were kinda busy with other stuff. Journey for one. Should have seen this through instead
Neal went back to journey.
Used to blare this as I was cruising in my firebird 💋
Ah the memories of this Era..👍
Dang! I remember this song! 👍
Reminds me of my ex wife and her red car

the line up is the lineup for their third album in the description, yet this song is from their first album.

I thought that the lead guitarist was the great Neal Shon?

All i can say is…this is a drive fast song
Why the fuck Neal Schon, Deen Castronovo and Todd Jensen aren't listed? Better do your home work.
