      @@KevinSmith-wr1sy I agree: Get a Rubicon right up front...nothing done to a lower trim will EVER make it into a Rubi even after spending big-money for parts/labor. And none of it will be Mopar factory-warranted, and you can't sell it as a Rubi later on (for better resale value) no matter how "better than a factory/OEM Rubi" your build is. And you're not going to get your money back on your expensive mods -- no one will want to pay extra for them. In fact, they may even take all that crap off and toss it.
      Get the Rubi in the beginning and be done with it...or, if it's a Gladiator, choose between the Rubicon and Mojave (same price but different missions). Forget the lower trims. Apply the "Buy once, cry once" policy. Get the Top Dog or go home. As Nike used to say, "Just do it."

    My wife has a High Tide Wrangler which has the XR package. Basically that’s why we got it. They should all come with that package. I just picked up someone’s 392 final edition XR tires and wheels off fb marketplace yesterday for my Mojave for a good deal. The XR package is better of the 2 because you get the tires, wheels, lift and regear backed by the factory. As far as I heard with the winch it’s a 8k and should really be at least 10k. Putting that on a Gladiator and you’d have to have 12k. Only reason I’d buy another Gladiator is if it came with the XR package. I’d most likely want a different bumper.

    • @Jason-Samko
      @Jason-Samko  Месяц назад +1

      8knwould work perfect in my opinion. The 2500 trucks like power wagon and super duty come with 12k winches. They are twice the weight of a gladiator. If I had a wrangler I'd be 100% happy with an 8k. Also warn recommends a winch 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle. A 8k is much higher than 6500 recommened by warn. Both Axials, actually all Axials 24s are the same. They all just have different bodies. Plus they crawl like crap because the motors are tiny and they get hung-up on everything because they don't have portals.
    If swapping bodies can have different positions then FCX24s and CR18P should be dominating all 5 spots.
    The big 280 motor and 2-speed in Hobbyplus and 180 motor and 2-speed in the FMS rigs, not to mention the portals make these rigs outperform both the Axials and Traxxas rigs
