My wife has a High Tide Wrangler which has the XR package. Basically that’s why we got it. They should all come with that package. I just picked up someone’s 392 final edition XR tires and wheels off fb marketplace yesterday for my Mojave for a good deal. The XR package is better of the 2 because you get the tires, wheels, lift and regear backed by the factory. As far as I heard with the winch it’s a 8k and should really be at least 10k. Putting that on a Gladiator and you’d have to have 12k. Only reason I’d buy another Gladiator is if it came with the XR package. I’d most likely want a different bumper.
8knwould work perfect in my opinion. The 2500 trucks like power wagon and super duty come with 12k winches. They are twice the weight of a gladiator. If I had a wrangler I'd be 100% happy with an 8k. Also warn recommends a winch 1.5 times the weight of the vehicle. A 8k is much higher than 6500 recommened by warn. Love the high tide package and the xr package!

I was bummed that I couldn't order the XR package on my '24 Rubicon. They won't allow it on the manual, so when I wear down the factory 33's I'll be getting some nice 35's.
Why the camel trophy FCX24? It hasn’t even sold that well. Both Axials, actually all Axials 24s are the same. They all just have different bodies. Plus they crawl like crap because the motors are tiny and they get hung-up on everything because they don't have portals. If swapping bodies can have different positions then FCX24s and CR18P should be dominating all 5 spots. The big 280 motor and 2-speed in Hobbyplus and 180 motor and 2-speed in the FMS rigs, not to mention the portals make these rigs outperform both the Axials and Traxxas rigs
Well, it IS pretty nice to be driving my Gladiator (Rubi) and looking at ALL the vehicles around me (cars, trucks, SUVs) knowing I have the most off-road capable mid-size truck (Top Dog) available. Yes, a Gladiator Mojave is also very capable, but it's still not a Rubicon.
