At 2:19 for the Beam Emiter setup, I only see an option for me that says, "Convert Vector to Position" and not "Convert Position to Vector" as shown in the video. What do I need to do to make sure that option is available?
For some reason in the “beam emitter setup” section when I go to “input position” under beam start and end I can’t use the sampled position of the skeletal mesh, does anyone know why this could be?
Thanks for the great tutoiral! I followed the steps but it came out very different haha. I notice you didn't talk about "Particle State" and "Solve Forces and Velocity" which you have under Particle Update. Not sure if this is needed?
Placing the Set Module in Particle Update gets Initial Position to show up. Once plugged in I could move the Module back to Particle Spawn and it works as expected.
DONT DO THIS The video is really bad put together, doesn't actually show the process you need to follow with the results, and theres some things missing that you cant do anymore like "Convert Position to Vector"
Dude I never saw such a bad tutorial in my entire life. How about explaining a single thing, instead of just copy and pasting things without showing where to find them even? Why even making a tutorial if you just tell "just do this" without showing a single thing?

I have the same issue - did you ever find out how to fix?
Thanks for telling me this soon now I check comments before watching tutorials😂 cuz of these scamming creators all over the internet
it just a ue version problem , try in latest version
Well done, Nathan.

Question how was the material set up for this and what are values for scale color?

Great Tutorial!
Glad it was helpful!
Hello nice VFX, I have one question. Is it possible to make the same FX with static mesh? If yes how would it be? thank you very much
Im in 5.3 and when setting up the Position Module I dont have an Initial Position to sample. Odd.

@tree50maro i only have particle initial color
Awesome. Please where did you get your idea pose from
Very cool
Thanks!
6:26 how to add that !!
Can you do a vibrate skeletal mesh effect?
Do you guys work on unity engine?😊
We do get Unity projects that come through the studio.
@@frogspasm2000 oh you work there sir ?
Yes we work in both engines! We have more breakdowns that we're working on that focus on Unity coming soon
Is there a way to do it with the metahumans?
Through blueprint yes
Copying the Initial Particle Location instead of showing us how you got that variable pretty much broke the tutorial, bro
