Fantastic video. We’re doing some homework before we head to the Amazon this summer. My husband is from Lima. Agreed….Peru is simply amazing…the architecture, the food, the landscape..most of all…the people.

In my case my experience was different, for video and instagram purposes that lodge called tree house is very nice and even something luxurious, the problem is at night, since the rooms do not have windows, the only thing that will save you from a tarantula or snake while you sleep It is a mosquito net or mesh which makes you think about it during the night so you don't get to sleep for fear that some animal will get into your room... I use the internet in the jungle in a cabin-type hostel At that time, I was able to get a promo with yakumama tours, according to what I read in other comments, it is the most reliable for hospitalizations and well, it went well, good attention and the good thing is that their rooms are well closed, now you can sleep peacefully, what if An important detail is that due to the geography, the telephone and internet signal does not reach, so if you do teleworking it is not a good option. A detail for travelers is not to book the tours with a swimming pool, it is super dangerous because they usually do not maintain it and there is the problem of the mosquitoes and that amoeba and then if something happens to you they do not give you a guarantee, take it into account travelers to take their own bottled water to avoid upset stomach in the amazon.

Nice, that ceviche was rather pricey though at S/40 for a small.portion, mostly in the S/25 range for larger portions at most Lima Miraflores-area restaurants, less elsewhere 😊
