Mine came in today - works great. It's better than manually doing them one at a time and having to keep watching to see when one ends so you can start the next.
Can I keep the batteries in the hub in the storage mode even after they done charging to 50% or do I need to remove them ? I kinda like them in the hub they look cool but if it harms them than it’s not worth it.

Would it make sense to use a 160W DJI charger with the hub to increase charging speed? Btw it's a bit disappointing that it doesn't charge up to 3 batteries simultaneously but only one at a time, it would've been too good to be true.
You should make a video on how to increase connection from the controller to the drone, I heard there are a couple accessories and methods to do so cause mine always loses connection pretty fast.
Hey Tom... Thank you for all of the great videos..I have a Phantom 3 prof and also the battery hub.I also have a new Inspire1 v2 and I'm curious if I can use that same battery hub using the Inspire charging cord? Not sure if there is a difference..
You can buy far cheaper alternatives that even maybe charge them all at the same time, but when you add up the price of three or four genuine batteries, who would risk frying or damaging them with a cheap alternative. Now that would be madness
"...discharge from fully charged but that will take forever..." is not very helpful. I want to know how long it will take to discharge to storage level. 30 minutes? Three hours? Two days? My decision to purchase hinges on this info.
Kinda cool... But I think there is a charging hub on Amazon for around the same price that charges 3 batteries at the same time (not one at a time like this hub). It is a little bigger I believe, however I think it is worth the extra size.
I will charge my expensive batteries with originally DJI made products only. Don't want to spend another few hundred dollars for new batteries. Stay tuned and fly safe.
Absolutely not pointless. If charging one after another, charging goes way faster, if I desperately need a single battery for some reason. Otherwise I would have to wait much longer to be able to use one fully charged battery.
Excellent, I was just about to buy one but there wasn't any reviews. Thanks for making my decision even easier :)

Tom. Does the charging Hub for Phantom 3 professional have the same characteristics? I'm always worried about the right storage.
How long between use should we move into storage mode? If we fly every staturday or every couple of days? at what gap is there a risk?
How long will it take to charge the three batteries to full, before flight, after they have been in the ,Blue Light, Storage mode ?
Can you mix regular and high capacity batteries? No car charge adapter.

hi, thx for the video, aniway how long its gonna need to discharge battery from 100% capacity?
Hey Tom. I am planning on buying a Phantom 4. Would a 1 ft lightning cable be enough to go from the remote to my iPad?
Probably
Can we charge the battery and the controller as well

hey what wireless mic are you using? The sound quality is superb.
The mic is not wireless. I have it plugged into a recorder and sync it in post. It's a Sennheiser mic. Stay tuned and fly safe!
Thanx
Thanks, great review, but why is half the screen black?
Thanks, Roamin. Please google "bokeh" and think of a tree to find out what the black part of the screen actually is. ;) Stay tuned and fly safe!
is it available for phantom 3

What the hell is the big black shadow covering the entire right side of the frame?
And why?
Why would yoiu think that is ok?
It's a feature!
Cant charge battery at same time?
Can batteries be left on the hub for a long time. So I can leave it overnight and unplug in the morning with no damage to batteries??
Yes, Sir, that should be absolutely possible. Stay tuned and fly safe.
Does anyone know if this will work with the car charger?
Another great review Tom!
Thanks, Anthony!
This looks like a very handy accessory. Thanks for the review! #DRONEON
if the charger can charge all three at the sametime It'd even more amazing.
Why on earth would it only charge in sequence as opposed to charging them all at once?
Speed, it's faster this way. And if it charges one full first, you can take it out already and start using it!
i agree, thought it would charge all 3, might as well just use the normal charger
+Leni fifita that means you have to unplug and plug in the next battery instead of enjoy your night's sleep.
+Jason Powell exactly!
how is it faster then it just charging them all?

+Tom's Tech Time Good point. That is probably the smarter way to go.
I have one , it is very useful and not pointless at all.
I'm loving mine as well, an awesome little tool!
If you don't have battery more to fly you can charge it and take the other battery in the hub great
HI!
Brilliant.
heyy Tom so funny this time!
fuck..$90....digital rc enthusiast smart charger cost much lesser than that...give cable....the reading....and can charge a lot of thing...
I got this for 9 euro's... just not the casing.
thum bub ;) haha
Kind of pointless if it does not charge them all 3 at the same time. Personally can't see the benefit.

Do you sit and watch your batteries charge? One will charge after the other ...
