Laura Boury agreed, when I replay the game, my upgrade pattern is inverted takedown, health plus 1, health plus 2, health plus 3, health plus 4, sonic batarang, and remote batarang.
When I was doing my first run everyone went upside-down I didn't think of doing silent takedowns

This game was such a groundbreaking masterpiece. The villains are great (particularly Joker, Killer Croc and Scarecrow), the amount of depth the interview tapes and Arkham chronicles add is mind-blowing, the Riddler challenges aren't annoying, all the different locations have such a unique design to them, the Scarecrow hallucinations still hold up even after you've replayed the game numerous times, and if I need to tell you how revolutionary the combat gameplay is, you must've been living under a rock since 2008.

The convenient gargoyles and shafts are explained in game, Bruce Wayne pulled some string to finance Arkham's redecoration... and style.

No matter how much success Marvel have had in movies in recent years, DC still makes the best games.

I couldn't agree more. Marvel certainly is running movie theaters but when it comes to games, animated films, and TV Shows DC wins by a long shot.

Batman's voice is the same actor that played him in the 1990's WB cartoon, hell from his wiki he's the main animated batman voice actor. I agree completely with you, he is the BEST batman voice actor to date. The live action actors try way to hard to mask his voice when he's actually batman.

This is probably the only game I've ever 100% finished. I pretty much spent half a summer on it until I got all the riddler trophies beat all the challenge maps and finished the game on all difficulties. I really love this game.

The best of the Arkham games IMO... the sequels were great, and the combat and gameplay built on top of this game's, but the whole feel of Asylum, the tone, the detail, the asylum itself, and the story were an absolute masterpiece.
It’s funny now that I know that while your messing around in the asylum and searching for Riddler trophies, Jason Todd is just around the corner screaming in agony as he’s being tortured

I agree with the fact that the Joker Boss Battle sucked.
1) the joker is not supposed to be some big muscly Bane-copy.
2) Why get that much muscle, if he doesn't even try to fight Batman in hand-to-hand combat himself?
3) The design of Boker (Bane + Joker, because that is what it is) was ridiculus and made no sense, as Joker's back would have been destroyed by those spine-things through tissue, flesh and skin.
That's why he was effed up & nearing death in Arkham City. Was a stupid boss battle true, but I'll take it.

Bane actually had me trembling in a bit of fear and was hard to beat. Joker Bane was just.... easy.
Here we have, folks, a dude who never actually played the game, or if he did, he never read or heard anything the characters said, and wants to judge it by his conception of how Boker is an intelligent term.
I've played the game and got stuck at like 60 something%.Butt the Boker BOSS battle seems to me that it does not make any sense what so ever and I'm only 12 so yeah.
Albino Moreno have played the games several times, so yeah no. There was no reasoning behind the joker suddenly injecting himself with Titan and the boss battle was just stupid beyond belief.
The Joker injects Titan to gain massive muscles and incredible strength --> proceeds to never use said strength in anyway and instead sends a mob of henchmen at you, while yelling at a random helicopter.
As for her term 'Boker' that was merely because I refuse to accept that a classic and incredible villain like the Joker is dumped down to the typical "ME BIG MAN! SMASH LITTLE GUY!" character.

I love Batman lore but since Gotham is in America, I doubt there these criminally insane villains would be locked up in a special asylum and instead thrown straight to electric chair.

Joker always succeeds at it because he has a well documented history of mental illness and any court psychiatrist would diagnose him as insane. US federal law forbids handing out the death penalty to the insane. Instead they get shipped off to the nuthouse.

In real life though politicians could probably pass laws and get these insanes put to death say if they killed a certain number of people. The criminals that Batman had been fighting are certainly aware of their acts despite being crazy. As a matter of fact some may argue the superhero villains are terrorists for being able to execute big complex plans to achieve mass murder and they are most likely executed for that.

The sequel can never be as good as the original. This game is like that. I'm not saying that I don't the others. But this game has its own charm. The other game s may be vast and rich in detail. But this one feels so awesome and also that moment when you say "WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? I AM PLAYING FROM START!"
True, Asylum had its own unique atmosphere. Me personally though, I feel like City upped everything from the gameplay to the story and more. But we each have our preferences. (Except for Blackgate, no one likes Blackgate.)

Only thing I have problems with these games are that you cant do anything after you complete the main story unless you start a new game
Can't do anything after you complete the main story? I don't know what you mean but I can tell you that you can still do stuff after the you completed the story like Side missions, riddles/trophies etc.

Ricardo Oliveira the other side mission is to beat those crazy guys all over the asylum (blackgate thugs included) and after that you have the combat challenges, where you can compete ( by ranking) with other players, its just some people dont take all the things the game has to offer
