In our daily lives, we often find ourselves adapting to our surroundings, whether it’s to the changing seasons or a life-altering event. Adapting is not just about survival; it’s also about maintaining our self-identity and how we want to be remembered.
For many, riding bikes is more than just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle that defines them. When an injury takes away the ability to ride, the feeling of losing oneself can be just as painful as the injury itself.
Chris and Tom both suffered life-changing injuries that prevented them from doing what they love: riding. However, they have both discovered ways to adapt their equipment to suit their needs. They are now back on their bikes and have regained their identities through adaptation. To celebrate the launch of two new jackets from TLD for the Fall23 range, we teamed up with Tom and Chris to get them to shred on their adaptive rigs in the new Fall23 Collection.
