Ash loved his Tauroses. He just couldn't go travelling around with all 30 of them at the same time so he left them with a responsible pokemon carer. I'll admit that Ash is pretty rubbish at being a trainer, but he does care about them.

He means he isn't counting pokemon he only had for one episode such as aipom and raticate. Hence why he counted greninja goodra butterfree etc. because they were all with ash for more than one episode and he actually battled with them

Pokedex gives ash information about other Pokemon which means the pokedex has been completed before ash starts his journey
Red the one who complete the pokedex then Ash use it fully completed
My guy spent 26 years and over 2000 episodes with a mantra of "collect 'em all" and he managed to only get 53.

Catching them all was never his goal. He never had a set goal, "pokemon master" was a title he made but in the end had no true definition for but knew that despite becoming world champion he still had yet to reach
@@maniacaal I feel like even if ash took over damn 25 years it might be better than becoming the best in just two or three days like in game canon of red, i mean ash is by no means a realistic MC but taking time to become one of the best is pretty realistic imo. I mean it's not like humans got anime superpowers in pokemon, you gotta catch beings that are as strong as a country and continental level some even surpassing space/time level to god level.

Pikachu is his ace, his first Pokémon and the mascot of the entire company, isn’t understandable that he’s the one who Ash doesn’t leave in the box for multiple seasons? And just by always being with Ash, of course he’ll be used the most. But how is an issue to you? Every Ash Pokémon had infinitely more character development than Red’s (well apart from Red’s Charizard).
@@Regeor that's because Red literally had 4 episodes in Origins. Check out the Manga and you'll know how much development his Pokemon have been through.
There's also a few pokemon Ash caught and immediately gave away to trainers who were looking for one in some episodes. And he released at least one right after he caught it, it was simply to transport it elsewhere. :l

He seems to be counting releases and temporary-training-with-someone-else different from Pokémon like Aipom that were permanently traded to another trainer. Pidgeot and Primeape and Lapras were all released too.

It’s in a banned episode, he caught them all in the safari zone. Each time he tried to throw a ball at a Rhydon a Tauros would knock into the ball. In each safari zone round you get 30 safari balls so 30 Tauros. Later he’d use one of the Tauros in a Pokémon league but it would be in a regular pokéball instead, probably because the episode it came from was banned
