I still feel heracross is being taken too lightly here. Defeated Scizor, Gary’s Magmar (which it tanked 2 fire attacks btw in), Kricketune in an official league match, and did major damage to a darkrai that had swept the tournament thus far.
I agree just like gible who practically swept that dude with shuckle and dusknoir with no problem and was able to touch darkrai which like no pokemon in the league could even get close to it and Tobias Noticed saying how that could've take. Out anything but darkrai
While I'll always have a problem with the way Ash's Pokemon were handled in this series training and screentime wise (even though since Kamon, Lucario and Gengar have made it into my top 10) I still have to give some props to Journeys for giving these guys time to shine eventually (in it's own sort of botched way).
@@Zactoshi is lucario stronger than infernape or Charizard because in my opinion it easily surpasses sceptile but I am confused with other 3 except Pikachu
@@Zactoshi This makes me wonder how your Version is going to surpass that. Wait are you going to do the Rewrite in a similar way to your Currently Ongoing Pokémon Sword And Shield Anime Series?
7:51 Every time I think back to this flashback, I always think of this part showing how actually busted his Alola team was. You got a special dog, the Pokemon that beat the strongest Pokemon owned by a trainer in the region, a Legendary, a Mythical, an Ultra Beast and *god.*
Id honestly argue that Sirfetchd is S tier. The fact it took an expanding force boosted by terrain and triple axels is impressive, and it also has good technique. Its not just a mon that repeatedly spams moves, it dodges them and then counterattacks like a badass. reminds me of how agile and smart greninja is when he dodges and fights. And everytime ash sends it out it faces an attack its weak to (disarming voice, expanding force, acrobatics) and still stands and takes the hits! But yeah, Kamon is definitely his strongest non ace.
Honestly all of Ash's journeys members are s tier and they are all stronger than charizard. Charizard is at most elite four level while journeys team helped ash defeat 4 champions. But 5 pokemon he caught in Journeys are still weaker than Greninja who was known to become a lot stronger after being the guardian of Kalos and destroying evil roots.
Let’s be real sure it took down milotic but Dracovish already did some damage to it so it can’t take All the credit sure it also put a good fight to mr rime and rillaboom but technically didn’t beat them
@okan iduğ Frontier Brains being elite 4 level is exaggerated. The corphish who defeated tucker and anabel's pokemon was defeated Nurse Joy;s chansey later. Ash' Donphan defeated Lucy's Seviper and lost to Conway without defeating any of his pokemon. May tied with Ash's Sceptile when he defeated two Frontier level pokemon. And Gary defeated Pikachu not long after he beat regice. The anime made defeating Frontier Level trainers not that big of a deal as it should be. Meanwhile his journeys team enabled Ash to defeat 4 champions.

If rating in terms of power, all of Ash's Journeys team members should be on s tier list. They are even stronger than charizard, infernape, and ace-tile. Bulbasaur and Squirtle also deserve to be on A tier because they were some of Ash's loyal friends and fierce battler during Indigo league, Orange league, Johto league, and Battle frontier. Ash's Alola team all deserve to be at least on A tier because they helped Ash become champion.
Pikachu, Lucario, Greninja, Sceptile, Charizard, and Infernape x3 that's a stacked team right there. And it's a Team he can use Mega Evolution, Bond Phenomenon, Z-Moves, and Dynamax all at once.
I knew I could count on Zac to give Sirfetch'd the credit he deserves. Sirfetch'd and Gengar both improved drastically and Dracovish just got more powerful. I'm happy you decided to make a part 2 on this video
Of course it’s deserved that all the Pokemon of Ash in his JN team are minimum A tier. Lucario indeed a bit better than the rest but they did all very good especially Dracovish after that Steven fight.
I admit Sirfetch’d is pretty underrated power wise. Not to mention if it should count but in the Pokémon Masters EX Sirfetch’d defeated Scottie’s Solgaleo. I thought that is impressive for a Pokémon who isn’t a legendary.
It’s absolutely wild to see how powerful pikachu has become since I started watching way back in the indigo league. It’s also puzzling some of the L’s he’s taken but it is what it is
Honestly, I’d say yes, they are definitely the best of the best team Ash has ever had. Each of them are very strong and powerful and have their own unique way of battling. And each of them each have a very unique and enjoyable personality and some rather nice/great development. And the best part of all, by the end of journey, nobody on the team felt like cannon fodder and each of them have pulled off at least two/three epic wins/feats in battles. I may be biased, but here’s how I rank Ash’s Team: Pikachu: 10/10 Dragonite: 9/10 Gengar: 9/10 Lucario: 10/10 Sirfetch’d: 9/10 Dracovish: 8/10 Definitely a deserving team of being a World Champion’sz
Lucario is weak AF without its Mega form though... especially comparing him to his Journeys teammates... 3 of which destroyed Mega's or Champion Pokemon without needing to rely on Mega Evolution. Dragonite solo'd Korrina, destroyed Iris's Haxorus, who later went to go toe-to-toe with Cynthia's Garchomp, nearly eliminating them if it wasn't for the Mega Garchomp Dracovish took down Iris's OP Dragonite, took down Leons Rillaboom (His second strongest mon) Sirfetch'd took down Drasna's Mega Altaria, took down Dragapult and heavily damaged Cynthia's Garchomp
@@quangminh9873 Gigamax is no Mega though. Gigamax don't enhanced stats other than HP, but only for 3 turns. Is as such not the same as taking down Mega's in base form.
Here's the thing. The M8 rankings weren't necessarily based on strength tbh. It was more or less based on how fast you could get those ranks. If you look up the PWC rules, M8 are basically the ones who were able to make M8 before the PWC closing qualifiers.
Well I gotta be honest, I would've put Dracovish as the higher Champion mon because it did defeated more champions than Sirfetch'd. Yes Sirfetch'd did great damage to them, but he only defeated one champion pokemon. Next I would put Lucario in front of Greninja, because Lucario had more crazy feats and it bested Garchomp and Mr Rime.
I actually think the reason why Mimey didn't battle Mightyena was because it knew it was weak to Dark. And I know Mimey is part Fairy and has a Fighting Type move in Focus Punch, but it's Anime logic. Anything could happen.
Defeating Steven's Metagross with burn damage didn't bother me. At this level, you cause damage to the opponent however you can do it, especially when you're ranked last and are up against one of the top three champions.
When you mentioned surprise Pokémon, had a feeling you meant Nebby, I’m glad Journey’s confirmed that Nebby was his mon all along since he cared for him.
Bro, I've seen a lot of rankings of pokemon and I kept on seeing sirfetch being slept on. So I'm glad to finally see someone rank him so high. During the masters 8 he was one of my favorite pokemon to see on screen. He did so much better than i expected
@@Lonewulf321idk man I’ve seen some information being discussed about Annie and Oakley returning and we all know about Latios returning and being captured 💀
I feel like Lucario should be above Sceptile. I know it hasn't beaten a legendary, unlike Sceptile, but neither has Infernape (or Greninja) and he's above Sceptile. I just think that Lucario's feats are more impressive than Sceptile's (and Infernape's... and Greninja's now that I think about it).
In my opinion sir fetched is easily one of the strongest ash mons and I was a bit surprised when it didn’t get S (legendary) tier but top of A (champion) tier also suits it well
Sirfetch may have defeated milotic but you have keep in mind that dracovish already did some damage so can’t take all of the credit and that’s pretty much all it did
If you think about it: If Sirfetch’d would have just done a one v one with Rillaboom without needing to handle Mr Rime first, Sirfetch’d probably could’ve won
Lucario deserves to be in the god tier. Lucario literally took down so much Pokémon since it evolved. Cynthia’s Garchomp literally got destroyed by my favorite Pokémon on ash’s team. The episodes when Riolu hatched, when Riolu finally evolved, and when Lucario unlocked mega evolution were my all time favorite journey episodes.
Darn shame Mimey wasn't on Ash's squad against Cynthia because her terrible moveset for the Masters 8 would've given Mimey a HUGE advantage due to all of its damaging moves being DRAGON type which the clown is immune to! Shoot, that probably would've put it close to the top of the tiers!
I think them trying to focus more on Lucario and giving time for Gengar to shine actually did dirty with Dragotnite. They could have shown Dragonite as an brute MVP force just like they did with Charizard back in the days
I think Infernape is implied to be stronger than charizard, it was the main Pokémon training gengar, it’s implied to have beaten the other fire types, and in the latest opening after showing all the legendaries it shows Infernape then greninja then pikachu, implying those could be his top 3
The fact that charizard has greater feats ☠️ Beat articuno while infernape barely did anything to moltress and let me remind you that was pre unova charizard
8:25 you may be updating this video soon. Chances are Ash may catch Ho-Oh for a brief moment in the finale of episode 11 of the aim to be a pokemon master mini-series. I hope nebby makes a return also with the limited episodes we have going.
Also without dragonite Dracovish could be in bit trouble against rilaboom of Leon as dragonite did huge damage with hurricane so hence prooven teamwork works
Let's not forget that Lucario has only lost one real battle since he evolved Maybe Sirfetch’d wouldn't have lost if Cynthias Garchomp didn't get the off on him Wait a second, if Mr. mime was fighting Cynthias Garchomp he would've won she only has dragon type moves except for StealthRock lol.
Ash: (Sends out Mr. Mime) Garchomp: (Sweats) Cynthia: (Realizes she doesn’t have a poison or steel move in Garchomp’s set.) Ash: It’s over Cynthia! I have the type immunity! Cynthia: You underestimate my power! Ash: Mr. Mime, use Focus Punch! Mr Mime: (Charges towards Garchomp with Focus Punch) Cynthia: Garchomp, smack it! Garchomp: (Smacks Mr Mime into the air before it can land Focus Punch) Mr. Mime: (Lands back on the ground fainted from the smack and fall damage) Referee: Mr. Mime is unable to battle, Garchomp wins! Ash: (Realizes Mr. Mime has barely any battle experience and not a single Fairy move) Also Ash: MOTHERF***!
@@miiszcandy91 Dude, it was a joke. I was trying to reference how Ash can be caught up in the moment during a battle. Remember in the Brandon fight Ash got caught up in the moment and ordered Charizard to use Seismic Toss on a Dusklops? He didn’t forget his type chart, he just got too excited. I can just imagine he can get caught up in the moment in that hypothetical.
@@miiszcandy91 Actually if remember correctly lucario lost twice. He tied with luxray and dragapult defeated him. Unless you don’t count a tie as a lost, I would understand that tho.
NO NO NO we are not discrediting Lucario's victory over Cynthia's Garchomp due to the fact it didn't mega evolve. I personally believe if Garchomp mega evolved Ash loses, the fact how much of a nail biter the battle was between the two was totally intense. You're right Zach back in the Diamond and Pearl days Cynthia was practically Leon (Despite the mega) so if you win against Cynthia let alone her ace, that's an achievement you can claim and not a lot of people in the Pokémon world can claim that on their resume
Cynthia didn't megaevolve Garchomp due to Sirfetch'd. Sirfetch'd did a lot of damage to Garchomp. Lucario was at his max and he had megaevolution, aura mode and Giga Aura Sphere. Mega Garchomp (with a lot damage received by Sirfetch'd) would've easily lost against Lucario. That's why Cynthia used Dynamax Togekiss. She wanted to make Lucario feel so tired, so Garchomp and him would be in the se condition. Togekiss made Lucario waste his Giant Aura Sphere. Her Togekiss allso made him feel tired by tanking lost of attacks and dodging with the speed boost. Without Togekiss' help, Garchomp would've lost earlier than she did.
I would personally put Lucario after Greninja and Charizard. Sirfetched is definitely the strongest non ace Pokémon free. Otherwise, this list is pretty good
I love this list, it’s VERY accurate, with a few suggestions. Even within the same tier, you can order the Pokemon based on who’s the strongest within that tier, feel like Gengar would be either 2 or 3 in Tier A, etc.
I honestly don't think Ash is catching Latias but even if he did I doubt it would be that strong.. Like Team Rocket blasting off and colliding with it managed to give Latias some pretty bad damage.
I’m not sure if this is an Ash Pokémon, but it might be an exception, which is the garchomp from Alola when he was doing the ultra beast missions, he took care of it, he commanded it and it listened, so would it be one?
Great list, the only thing I would say is that personally if we were to put lucario in order I would say he can go in between greninja and charizard. It’s debatable for who’s stronger, greninja or lucario though.
Considering ash's journeys team is the reason he's world monarch, it's no surprise that most of them are at champion tier, with Lucario still being a cut above the rest (barring pikachu) Although I wouldn't put Nebby at number one just because he's a legendary. He didn't battle much under Ash and both times he used his z move, no Pokemon was defeated by it.
The specified best episode as the best, its the one episode where you realize that its not each region with its own seperate journey, Ash now has a whole journey start to finish
Ash's Alola Team is BUSTED, with a Legendary, a Mythical, an Ultra beast, a special doggo, the Strongest Inceneroar, and GOD. I think that overall, the top three teams of his are Kalos, Alola, and Journeys. if we go by the tierlist, Alola is 3rd (mainly due to Rowlet in C tier) Kalos is 2nd, and Journeys is 1st. Kalos and Alola are INCREDABLY close.
I hope you make after the series is over a new "my version of Ash Ketchum's team". From Kanto to Galar (this to inculde Orange Island, Battle Frontier, Galar and all star, okay maybe even Paldea). P.S: somehow include Weavile and Zoroark 😆😆
I just realized something - the fact that Ash is essentially battling in Smogon's "National Dex Anything Goes" metagame in the Champion's League. Unlike Smogon's "OverUsed" conventional play, "National Dex Anything Goes" means you can use past gimmicks on any Pokemon, such as bringing back Megas, Z-Moves and Dyna/Gigantamax on current and past gen Pokemon. This also allows for "cheap" strategies like: -Double Team/Minimize spam; -Multiple Pokemon of the same species on the same team; -Full Baton Pass chains; -Cheap abilities like Moody, Arena Trap and Shadow Tag; -1HKO moves (Guillotine, Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold); -Using stupidly overpowered Pokemon like pre-nerf Zacian-Crowned and Mega Rayquaza; -Put your opponent's entire team to sleep; The only banned "strategy" is causing an "endless battle" - preventing an opponent's Pokemon from fainting due to PP usage or Struggle recoil.
Watch he catches both Latias and Latios and Ho-oh acts as the Guardian of Oaks lab just because you made this video. Great work like always Zac. (If this happens I'll just laugh, literally laugh)
So Ash's best team would be Pikachu (Z Move), Greninja (Bond Phenomon), Charizard (OG Powerhouse), Infernape (Blaze King), Sceptile (Bad Ass) and Lucario (Mega Evolution). strong team
I am assuming that u didn't rank Lucario any higher in the legendary tier to avoid any arguement but I would say that Lucario feats definitely proves him to be stronger than Greninja. Solgaleo and Pikachu are definitely the strongest though.
I'm of the opinion that, Just because they're from a Legendary species doesn't make them automatically the strongest In the real fight, I would say that Nebby might still going down if it was hit with 10M Volts Thunderbolt Also, What put Infernape that high on the list? I mean I could understand Charizard and Sceptile because they beat the legendary, and Greninja have a very close match against Alain's Charizard who at least took out Leon's Rillaboom What's the feat that put Infernape so high up on the list?
The best argument that I can think of is that its implied infernape in journeys is either on equal footing with charizard or stronger than him; since they train one v one all the time and infernape sought out moltres because he was looking for stronger opponents. But yeah, infernape definitely has the weakest resume of anyone in legendary tier.
I disagree with putting Sirfetch’d above Dragonite and Gengar, the reason Dragonite couldn’t touch Rillaboom during their fight was because Rillaboom lowered Dragonite’s speed with Drum Beating
All of ash’s Pokémon are awesome, I see them all equally great with there own abilities, I don’t think any of ash’s Pokémon should be at the bottom of this list in any way, each and every one of them helped and battled with ash and all managed to get him where he is today, they are all the best. Hopefully one day all of his released Pokémon and alolan Pokémon will all find there way to professor oaks lab and settle down with the rest of them in a special or something. Another thing, ash has a total of 56 Pokémon here what 4 other Pokémon do you think he would catch to be part of the family and make it a total of 60?
With the update, Ash's top 10 would be: 0-Solgaleo 1-Pikachu 2-Greninja 3-Charizard 4-Infernape 5-Sceptile 6-Lucario 7-Sirfache (sorry the bad "pronunciation") 8-Dragonite 9-Snorlax 10-Incineron
Lucario beating Garchomp is a great feat, I'm not gonna deny that, but you have to keep in mind, that Garchomp's moves were Dragon type and she didn't even used Draco Meteor on it - her strongest move, so Lucario's win feels very forced, to the point, that Garchomp had to be completely gutted out for Lucario to win: no Mega, no supereffective moves, no even neutral moves. And especially, we saw, that Garchomp would've won, if it wasn't nerfed, given how easily Leon's Dragapult defeated it in comparison and it's definitely alot weaker, than Garchomp
100% agree like I feel as though they gave all of Cynthia’s pokemon such garbage move sets except Gastrodon but either ways Gastrodon was treated as fodder pokemon, like who would give Milotic Disarming Voice and IronHead? Roserade with Bullet seed and Poison Jab? Togekiss apparently has Sky Attack and it didn’t even have Aura Sphere to boost attack during Dynamax which is super affective against Lucario or even flamethrower just flying type moves, Half of Spirittombs move set all is a correlation between one another if the pokemon wasn’t asleep than Dream eater can’t work, if the pokemon isn’t attacking than Suckerpunch doesn’t work and if the pokemon can’t K-O Spirtomb than Destiny bond doesn’t work , and Garchomp was sent with only dragon type moves and Steal rock and no Mega, in all honesty it’s great Ash beat Cynthia but like actually make Cynthia who she really is an intimidating Champion instead of giving Ash a pity point for losing three pokemon against spiritomb but 1 shoting Gastrodon with Quick Attack 💀and than resulting to a Dynamax that just kept spamming flying moves just to raise it’s speed but still getting destroyed by Lucario
How did Infernape make it so high in the tier list again? The only time it battled an Elite 4 level trainer it got oneshotted and didn't do much better against a legendary.
Well, that's a lot to talk about Ash's Pokemon, your list is interesting, so I have my list of Ash's Pokemon by strength, but I'm not counting Larvitar and Solgaleo. S tier 1st: Pikachu (Obvious reasons) 2nd: Greninja (extremely overrated in XY but I do not deny that he's a master in battles) 3rd: Lucario (Greninja mastered him an with his mega I say that's enough to get over Charizard) 4th: Infernape 5th: Charizard (I know, Charizard is OP, but I kinda prefer Infernape, it was still pretty close) 6th: Sceptile 7th: Krookodile (if we had expectations of "BW096", he would make a good front against Meloetta, so I think that he's achieves enough to enter the strongest Ash's Pokemon) A tier 8th: Sirfetch'd 9th: Dracovish (yes, we must agree that it is competitive) 10th: Snorlax 11th: Dragonite (she got flopped but not so much compared to Goodra, at least she defeated Leon's Dragapult despite with some help) 12th: Gengar (the "weakest?" Journeys Mon was incredibly enough to enter the Top 12) 13th: Lycanroc (he's special, we must consider it) 14th: Incineroar (If he gets at least some battles as Incineroar, it may be possible that I can put in the S Tier) 15th: Naganadel (in general the ultra beasts are really strong, so I can put into the A tier) 16th: Melmetal (similar to Naganadel, only on the side of the Mythicals) B tier 17th: Swellow (yes, is the best Bird, I will agree with Zac, Postscript: I have a theory when this Swellow eated a lot of Wacan Berries, is because that he can resist very well the Electric moves) 18th: Hawlucha 19th: Glalie (even though he lacked more battles, let's be honest, he was also a good battler in the Hoenn league) 20th: Talonflame 21st: Noivern (people think he's weak but I doubt it, maybe we expected more from him but with his draw against Salamence and with some help from Hawlucha I say that he does have something to prove) 22nd: Bulbasaur (ridiculously OP as a first stage, even he can face against several Pokémon in last stage) 23rd: Goodra (still in the B tier but flopped so hard in the Kalos League, maybe I was considering if I drop him to the C tier) 24th: Torterra (similar case with Noivern, he faced an Elite Four member despite losing) 25th: Staraptor (enough to get into the Top 25) 26th: Heracross (barely enough to get into the B tier) C tier 27th: Pignite (TBH, he's underrated, he lacks to be like Charizard or Infernape but he's strong) 28th: Squirtle 29th: Quilava 30th: Leavanny (I have a feeling that it does have potential despite its lack of screen time) 31st: Rowlet (yeah I know that he defeated Kukui's Braviary but I think Ash's Rowlet is kinda overrated in this channel, I will never call him "God", that is exaggerated IMO, also, Hau's Decidueye is not so strong, I just prefer Ash's Bulbasaur over him, so it stays at C for me, sorry) 32nd: Corphish (his flop against Misty's Politoed in "JN138" sadly made me descend to the C tier) 33rd: Gliscor (the majority here will love Gliscor, myself included, but his L's won't let me put it higher, I know he defeated Paul's Drapion but with help from other Ash's Pokemon in that battle) 34th: Torkoal (only got into the C tier because faced very well against Brandon's Registeel, his some embarrasing L's don't allow me to put it higher) 35th: Buizel 36th: Kingler (after the Original and the Gold and Silver series, he was forgotten) 37th: Tauros (I don't have much to explain, he is strong but not too strong to compete with others) 38th: Donphan 39th: Bayleef 40th: Gible (he got few damage against Darkrai and got wins against Conway's mons but that's pretty much it, at least enough to get into C) D tier 41st: Primeape 42nd: Ambipom (being Aipom in the Ash's team was okay and interesting, unfortunately she got wasted when she chose Ping Pong being in the Dawn's team) 43rd: Boldore 44th: Noctowl 45th: Mr. Mime (only got one episode to battle but enough to overcome some mons, still remains into D) 46th: Snivy (smart but her best performance was against... Clay's Palpitoad, and I put Boldore over Snivy because he defeated Excadrill the Clay's ace) 47th: Unfezant (I think she is not the weakest mon, her performance against Skyla's mons are enough to get some ranks up that the majority think, people wanted that I could drop into F, but despite Unfezant is straight up bad, I don't think she's insufferable, so she gets a D) 48th: Pidgeot (sorry but is the weakest bird, at least it got some redemption on the last Ash's episode) 49th: Lapras (only got one battle) 50th: Oshawott (he got a lot of screen time in the Black & White series but it only made a few sparks, IMO, I hate him more than Unfezant, I wish if I can drop him to the F) F tier 51st: Totodile (nothing special, the most weakest starter in the Ash's team) 52nd: Scraggy (is kinda still a baby) 53rd: Muk (only was useful against Grass types) 54th: Butterfree (the weakest Ash's mon)

Bulbasaur and Squirtle also deserve to be on A tier because they were some of Ash's loyal friends and fierce battler during Indigo league, Orange league, Johto league, and Battle frontier. Ash's Alola team all deserve to be at least on A tier because they helped Ash become champion.
@@Zactoshi please update the win rate video too
Pikachu, Lucario, Greninja, Sceptile, Charizard, and Infernape x3 that's a stacked team right there. And it's a Team he can use Mega Evolution, Bond Phenomenon, Z-Moves, and Dynamax all at once.
I wouldnt put Lucario as the same tier as them tho. Im more curious on Dracovish awakening.
@@renzbay123lucario was the ace of journeys team no doubt
@@boLTZEditO i wouldnt say that journeys team doesnt have an ace it was pretty balanced dracovish beating rillaboom. pikachu gengar
@@renzbay123Imo lucario is way better than dracovish
@@Rhino.x10 I said their team is pretty balanced and you cant say lucario was the ace too
I honestly LOVE Gengar. Its probably the team member with the most spunk and personality right next to dragonite.
Also on the topic of Lucario after it evolved it took Leon’s Dragapult to break its winning streak.
Lucario didn’t defeat dragupult it lost to it
@@carterryans I know. I said it took Dragapult to break its winning streak. Meaning that Dragapult was the only Pokémon who was able to beat it
I dont like it Lucario is on S Tier. Id rather put Dracovish there awakening to defeat 2 of leons pokemon
@@renzbay123 Dracovish didn’t defeat two of Leon’s Pokémon.
@@funtimepichustudios yeah my bad apologies
Yes Kamon is the strongest outside of the aces, he’s come so dam far 😭
I knew I could count on Zac to give Sirfetch'd the credit he deserves. Sirfetch'd and Gengar both improved drastically and Dracovish just got more powerful. I'm happy you decided to make a part 2 on this video
Of course it’s deserved that all the Pokemon of Ash in his JN team are minimum A tier. Lucario indeed a bit better than the rest but they did all very good especially Dracovish after that Steven fight.
I got to say the tier list is will put! Glad to see some improvement made on Ash's Journey team ever since the old tier list was made
I admit Sirfetch’d is pretty underrated power wise.
I may be biased, but here’s how I rank Ash’s Team:
Pikachu: 10/10
Dragonite: 9/10
Gengar: 9/10
Lucario: 10/10
Sirfetch’d: 9/10
Dracovish: 8/10
Definitely a deserving team of being a World Champion’sz
Wow this cmt has so many likes yet no reply
Lucario is weak AF without its Mega form though... especially comparing him to his Journeys teammates... 3 of which destroyed Mega's or Champion Pokemon without needing to rely on Mega Evolution.
Dragonite solo'd Korrina, destroyed Iris's Haxorus, who later went to go toe-to-toe with Cynthia's Garchomp, nearly eliminating them if it wasn't for the Mega Garchomp
Dracovish took down Iris's OP Dragonite, took down Leons Rillaboom (His second strongest mon)
Sirfetch'd took down Drasna's Mega Altaria, took down Dragapult and heavily damaged Cynthia's Garchomp
@@nickdentoom1173 bruh lucario managed to take down Raihan's gigantamax Duradulon in his normal form.
@@quangminh9873 Gigamax is no Mega though. Gigamax don't enhanced stats other than HP, but only for 3 turns. Is as such not the same as taking down Mega's in base form.
@@nickdentoom1173 not really, gigantamax is far stronger than mega evolution :v gigantamax is easily the strongest fighting mechanism up to now
Here's the thing.
Agreed. I love Greninja but I believe Lucario has surpassed him by now. But then again we don't exactly know how strong Ash's other Pokemon are.
solid updates to the tier list
love that KAMON shot up in the rankings. the journeys team has some insane feats
I actually think the reason why Mimey didn't battle Mightyena was because it knew it was weak to Dark.
And I know Mimey is part Fairy and has a Fighting Type move in Focus Punch, but it's Anime logic. Anything could happen.
Fun fact did you guys notice lavitar was also in Pikachu's flashback back when ash won the championship game
5:04 lol sirfetch did most of that work to Garchomp tho
8:09
Well, not really.
Remember: Lunala and Necrozma battled Ash and his Alola friends with both of them taking a lot of damage
Defeating Steven's Metagross with burn damage didn't bother me. At this level, you cause damage to the opponent however you can do it, especially when you're ranked last and are up against one of the top three champions.
I think you meant Aggron
When you mentioned surprise Pokémon, had a feeling you meant Nebby, I’m glad Journey’s confirmed that Nebby was his mon all along since he cared for him.
Bro, I've seen a lot of rankings of pokemon and I kept on seeing sirfetch being slept on. So I'm glad to finally see someone rank him so high. During the masters 8 he was one of my favorite pokemon to see on screen. He did so much better than i expected
When you mentioned Latias, I’m curious to know if that was the same one from the movie. Now that would be cool

In my opinion sir fetched is easily one of the strongest ash mons and I was a bit surprised when it didn’t get S (legendary) tier but top of A (champion) tier also suits it well
Sirfetch may have defeated milotic but you have keep in mind that dracovish already did some damage so can’t take all of the credit and that’s pretty much all it did
@@carterryanswell it also hurt significantly the mighty garchomp
If you think about it: If Sirfetch’d would have just done a one v one with Rillaboom without needing to handle Mr Rime first, Sirfetch’d probably could’ve won
Well Rillaboom also had a battle before sirfetchd, and it still battled after beating sirfetchd. Sirfetchd was gonna lose whether fully fresh or not
@@sbp69I mean rillaboom took way less damage than kamon at that time
Pikachu surpassed Ash-Greninja in SM already where he beat opponent even stronger than Alan's mega Charizard x
I think Infernape is implied to be stronger than charizard, it was the main Pokémon training gengar, it’s implied to have beaten the other fire types, and in the latest opening after showing all the legendaries it shows Infernape then greninja then pikachu, implying those could be his top 3
true but mostly u will see people ranking charizard above infernape because of the former's high fanbase but fact is that INFERNAPE>>>>>> charizard
The fact that charizard has greater feats ☠️
Beat articuno while infernape barely did anything to moltress and let me remind you that was pre unova charizard
@@kaveesh8280 charizard had an advantage...plus infernape wasnt defeated...his blaze was never activated
@@sayanghosh4519 You can be defeated before blaze is activated 💀
If they show the Pokemons in latest opening it doesn't mean that he is strong. Do u say Infernape is stronger than Pikachu bruh💀.
I mostly agree with the changes that were on this tier list.
Also, that's a sick thumbnail! 🕶️👍
8:25 you may be updating this video soon. Chances are Ash may catch Ho-Oh for a brief moment in the finale of episode 11 of the aim to be a pokemon master mini-series.
I hope nebby makes a return also with the limited episodes we have going.
Also without dragonite
Dracovish could be in bit trouble against rilaboom of Leon as dragonite did huge damage with hurricane so hence prooven teamwork works
Let's not forget that Lucario has only lost one real battle since he evolved
Maybe Sirfetch’d wouldn't have lost if Cynthias Garchomp didn't get the off on him
Wait a second, if Mr. mime was fighting Cynthias Garchomp he would've won she only has dragon type moves except for StealthRock lol.
Ash: (Sends out Mr. Mime)
Garchomp: (Sweats)
Cynthia: (Realizes she doesn’t have a poison or steel move in Garchomp’s set.)
Ash: It’s over Cynthia! I have the type immunity!
Cynthia: You underestimate my power!
Ash: Mr. Mime, use Focus Punch!
Mr Mime: (Charges towards Garchomp with Focus Punch)
Cynthia: Garchomp, smack it!
Garchomp: (Smacks Mr Mime into the air before it can land Focus Punch)
Mr. Mime: (Lands back on the ground fainted from the smack and fall damage)
Referee: Mr. Mime is unable to battle, Garchomp wins!
Ash: (Realizes Mr. Mime has barely any battle experience and not a single Fairy move)
Also Ash: MOTHERF***!
@@thatoneguy5343 did you forget that Mr. mime has incredible dodging skills, and he could just use psychic throw Cynthias Garchomp instead
The thumbnail with Dragonite bear-hugging Infernape to death is a nice touch.
SirFetch'd is Ash's best Pokemon ong.. Homie pulled a Whitebeard
S- picachu , greninja , lucario , Charizard , infarnape , sceptile .
A- dragonight , snorlex , incenaroar ,krokodile , goodra , malmatel , lycenrock , naganadel , cerfetched
Kinda weird feeling this is going to be definitive.
You know that the Journeys team was very good and it deserved to be in the Masters 8 when you see that they are all in Tier A and Lucario in S.
Krabby/Kinglet’s battle was amazing in the indigo league and probably one of my favourite of all time
More power scaling ? LETS GOOOO. Great video my man
You already know 😎
I would personally put Lucario after Greninja and Charizard. Sirfetched is definitely the strongest non ace Pokémon free. Otherwise, this list is pretty good
Kamon really had the biggest glow up
I love this list, it’s VERY accurate, with a few suggestions.
But it was owned by the aether foundation so it wasn't his. And anyways, we never saw it in battle so we would never know how good it was.
@@aiartificialintelligence1963 I mean technically against team rocket in the spa episode
Gengar and dragonite did really well so did sirfetched to be honest they all did really well even dracovish
fun fact: ash wouldve indeed had an easier time dealing with mega garchomp instead of d-max togekiss
That thumbnail tho...
Ash and his mons be drippin.
Great list, the only thing I would say is that personally if we were to put lucario in order I would say he can go in between greninja and charizard. It’s debatable for who’s stronger, greninja or lucario though.
Lucario is definetly right behind pikachu. And my favourite pokemon is Greninja
Yeah, Lucario has surpassed Greninja.
Personally I would say that dracovish and gengar would be above krookadile and snorlax and maybe incinaroar but this is still great
Cawfish needs to drop a ranking imo after his single loss to Misty, if he was to evolve then I reckon he'd be more deserving of his current spot
That or Misty is also elite 4 level.
It must've hurt seeing that soon-to-be-thumbnail with Infernape and Gekkouga beaten up when you uploaded this video.
Considering ash's journeys team is the reason he's world monarch, it's no surprise that most of them are at champion tier, with Lucario still being a cut above the rest (barring pikachu)
Although I wouldn't put Nebby at number one just because he's a legendary.
I personally think Ashes Lycanroc should be on Champions level.
Isn't it actually pretty smart from mr mime to remind ash that fighting vs dark with him is a bad idea after heavily winning an advantageous fight?!?
Mimey's part fairy type so it had the upper hand
I hope you make after the series is over a new "my version of Ash Ketchum's team". From Kanto to Galar (this to inculde Orange Island, Battle Frontier, Galar and all star, okay maybe even Paldea).
P.S: somehow include Weavile and Zoroark 😆😆
So I’m guessing after the final episode of Aim to be a Pokemon Master that there will be sequel to the win ratio right?
I just realized something - the fact that Ash is essentially battling in Smogon's "National Dex Anything Goes" metagame in the Champion's League.
Unlike Smogon's "OverUsed" conventional play, "National Dex Anything Goes" means you can use past gimmicks on any Pokemon, such as bringing back Megas, Z-Moves and Dyna/Gigantamax on current and past gen Pokemon.
This also allows for "cheap" strategies like:
-Double Team/Minimize spam;
-Multiple Pokemon of the same species on the same team;
-Full Baton Pass chains;
-Cheap abilities like Moody, Arena Trap and Shadow Tag;
-1HKO moves (Guillotine, Fissure, Horn Drill, Sheer Cold);
-Using stupidly overpowered Pokemon like pre-nerf Zacian-Crowned and Mega Rayquaza;
-Put your opponent's entire team to sleep;
The only banned "strategy" is causing an "endless battle" - preventing an opponent's Pokemon from fainting due to PP usage or Struggle recoil.
Remember Mimey fought in Chronicles against Butch and Cassidy
Not sure if it would really affect its tier but just letting you know
I still can’t understand how Lycanroc is lower than NOIVERN and how Goodra is in Champion level, thats kinda outeraegous
Watch he catches both Latias and Latios and Ho-oh acts as the Guardian of Oaks lab just because you made this video. Great work like always Zac. (If this happens I'll just laugh, literally laugh)
🙃
So Ash's best team would be Pikachu (Z Move), Greninja (Bond Phenomon), Charizard (OG Powerhouse), Infernape (Blaze King), Sceptile (Bad Ass) and Lucario (Mega Evolution). strong team
The thumbnail killed me!😂
i think it would be neat to add his friends pokemon to this list like dawns piplup and iris's haxorus
Naganadel should be in A list because he went toe-to-toe with Tapu Koko
I am assuming that u didn't rank Lucario any higher in the legendary tier to avoid any arguement but I would say that Lucario feats definitely proves him to be stronger than Greninja. Solgaleo and Pikachu are definitely the strongest though.
You just made me realize how good would ash look with a Tyranitar on his side
Lycanrock is A tier because he won the Aloan League.
Do this with your favorite pokémon in order that ash has owned
I'm of the opinion that, Just because they're from a Legendary species doesn't make them automatically the strongest
In the real fight, I would say that Nebby might still going down if it was hit with 10M Volts Thunderbolt
Also, What put Infernape that high on the list? I mean I could understand Charizard and Sceptile because they beat the legendary, and Greninja have a very close match against Alain's Charizard who at least took out Leon's Rillaboom
What's the feat that put Infernape so high up on the list?
The best argument that I can think of is that its implied infernape in journeys is either on equal footing with charizard or stronger than him; since they train one v one all the time and infernape sought out moltres because he was looking for stronger opponents.
But yeah, infernape definitely has the weakest resume of anyone in legendary tier.
pikachu , lucario and greninja would be such a powerful trio omg
I disagree with putting Sirfetch’d above Dragonite and Gengar, the reason Dragonite couldn’t touch Rillaboom during their fight was because Rillaboom lowered Dragonite’s speed with Drum Beating
Dont forget alain mega charizard back then was taking mega stone power from pokemon to make it stronger and after kalos arc alain stopped
With the update, Ash's top 10 would be:
0-Solgaleo
1-Pikachu
2-Greninja
3-Charizard
4-Infernape
5-Sceptile
6-Lucario
7-Sirfache (sorry the bad "pronunciation")
8-Dragonite
9-Snorlax
10-Incineron
Sirfected is one of my favorite ash journeys mon of all time in the top ten
Pretty accurate list ngl.
This team for me is his best power wise.
And also took damage from sirfetched
How did Infernape make it so high in the tier list again? The only time it battled an Elite 4 level trainer it got oneshotted and didn't do much better against a legendary.
I watched ash catch a Mr mime, after the Pokémon league when he went home. On the route to pallet town when they walked into its barier
Ash literally owned a legendary, a mythical, an ultra beast when he was at alola
I really wish there was a full version of your theme song it slaps
Well, that's a lot to talk about Ash's Pokemon, your list is interesting, so I have my list of Ash's Pokemon by strength, but I'm not counting Larvitar and Solgaleo.
S tier
1st: Pikachu (Obvious reasons)
2nd: Greninja (extremely overrated in XY but I do not deny that he's a master in battles)
3rd: Lucario (Greninja mastered him an with his mega I say that's enough to get over Charizard)
4th: Infernape
5th: Charizard (I know, Charizard is OP, but I kinda prefer Infernape, it was still pretty close)
6th: Sceptile
7th: Krookodile (if we had expectations of "BW096", he would make a good front against Meloetta, so I think that he's achieves enough to enter the strongest Ash's Pokemon)
A tier
8th: Sirfetch'd
9th: Dracovish (yes, we must agree that it is competitive)
10th: Snorlax
11th: Dragonite (she got flopped but not so much compared to Goodra, at least she defeated Leon's Dragapult despite with some help)
12th: Gengar (the "weakest?" Journeys Mon was incredibly enough to enter the Top 12)
13th: Lycanroc (he's special, we must consider it)
14th: Incineroar (If he gets at least some battles as Incineroar, it may be possible that I can put in the S Tier)
15th: Naganadel (in general the ultra beasts are really strong, so I can put into the A tier)
16th: Melmetal (similar to Naganadel, only on the side of the Mythicals)
B tier
17th: Swellow (yes, is the best Bird, I will agree with Zac, Postscript: I have a theory when this Swellow eated a lot of Wacan Berries, is because that he can resist very well the Electric moves)
18th: Hawlucha
19th: Glalie (even though he lacked more battles, let's be honest, he was also a good battler in the Hoenn league)
20th: Talonflame
21st: Noivern (people think he's weak but I doubt it, maybe we expected more from him but with his draw against Salamence and with some help from Hawlucha I say that he does have something to prove)
22nd: Bulbasaur (ridiculously OP as a first stage, even he can face against several Pokémon in last stage)
23rd: Goodra (still in the B tier but flopped so hard in the Kalos League, maybe I was considering if I drop him to the C tier)
24th: Torterra (similar case with Noivern, he faced an Elite Four member despite losing)
25th: Staraptor (enough to get into the Top 25)
26th: Heracross (barely enough to get into the B tier)
C tier
27th: Pignite (TBH, he's underrated, he lacks to be like Charizard or Infernape but he's strong)
28th: Squirtle
29th: Quilava
30th: Leavanny (I have a feeling that it does have potential despite its lack of screen time)
31st: Rowlet (yeah I know that he defeated Kukui's Braviary but I think Ash's Rowlet is kinda overrated in this channel, I will never call him "God", that is exaggerated IMO, also, Hau's Decidueye is not so strong, I just prefer Ash's Bulbasaur over him, so it stays at C for me, sorry)
32nd: Corphish (his flop against Misty's Politoed in "JN138" sadly made me descend to the C tier)
33rd: Gliscor (the majority here will love Gliscor, myself included, but his L's won't let me put it higher, I know he defeated Paul's Drapion but with help from other Ash's Pokemon in that battle)
34th: Torkoal (only got into the C tier because faced very well against Brandon's Registeel, his some embarrasing L's don't allow me to put it higher)
35th: Buizel
36th: Kingler (after the Original and the Gold and Silver series, he was forgotten)
37th: Tauros (I don't have much to explain, he is strong but not too strong to compete with others)
38th: Donphan
39th: Bayleef
40th: Gible (he got few damage against Darkrai and got wins against Conway's mons but that's pretty much it, at least enough to get into C)
D tier
41st: Primeape
42nd: Ambipom (being Aipom in the Ash's team was okay and interesting, unfortunately she got wasted when she chose Ping Pong being in the Dawn's team)
43rd: Boldore
44th: Noctowl
45th: Mr. Mime (only got one episode to battle but enough to overcome some mons, still remains into D)
46th: Snivy (smart but her best performance was against... Clay's Palpitoad, and I put Boldore over Snivy because he defeated Excadrill the Clay's ace)
47th: Unfezant (I think she is not the weakest mon, her performance against Skyla's mons are enough to get some ranks up that the majority think, people wanted that I could drop into F, but despite Unfezant is straight up bad, I don't think she's insufferable, so she gets a D)
48th: Pidgeot (sorry but is the weakest bird, at least it got some redemption on the last Ash's episode)
49th: Lapras (only got one battle)
50th: Oshawott (he got a lot of screen time in the Black & White series but it only made a few sparks, IMO, I hate him more than Unfezant, I wish if I can drop him to the F)
F tier
51st: Totodile (nothing special, the most weakest starter in the Ash's team)
52nd: Scraggy (is kinda still a baby)
53rd: Muk (only was useful against Grass types)
54th: Butterfree (the weakest Ash's mon)
Imagine if ash officialy caught solgaleo and latias and battle Tobias would be totally awesome ✨
2:32 i know it's that surprise Pokemon none other than solgaleo which is father of greninja just cannot beat Pikachu as Pikachu is stronk gigachad Arceus level
