- Our boy Dan managed to do the unthinkable and broke multiple bones shattered his knee cap and did the biggest of fails crashing his enduro bike into a tree. it was supposed to be a chilled local day of riding enduro, greenlaning and trail riding in Kent Uk but within the first hour out on the dirtbikes riding enduro/trail ride, he had a big fail and crashed.
The ambulance and air ambulance were called and he had to be air lifted off to hospital. It actually turned out to be an eye opening day of how easy it is to crash and fail and end up in hospital. Shout out to Dan on the KTM 2021 TPi for taking it like a champ.

I just moved to the UK from America, I'm up in Mildenhall. Trail riding is a lot different here. Got any resources or groups I can use to find local riding spots like this?
Ah nice. Not too sure on the resources front. Facebook has lots of groups and local people, that’s where I would start.
Trail riding isn’t anywhere as expansive or open as it can be America. In the uk it’s limited to lanes and roads that are still exempt from some of our laws allowing us to travel on them. These are known as green lanes. Join/find a Vinduro group, the TRF (trail riders federation) and get on some green lane Facebook groups and introduce yourself.
Unfortunately 99.9% of the uk’s land is owned by someone so you can’t even go explore a beaten path, forest or the likes without potentially facing prosecution or being treated as a trespasser. One thing I will advice you on is you can usually get away with exploring places you shouldn’t 1) by being courteous, polite, honest and friendly. Especially to dog walkers, kill your bike introduce yourself and spark a little chat. 2) never have an attitude or retaliate to things 3) understand not everyone likes bikes and that some people have nothing better to do with their lives but to kill your fun when they see you minding your own business and enjoying yourself
Think you hit the nail on the head.
@@wethepeople1973slt Thanks for the info! Helps a lot. Looks like the Cambridge group is a bit inactive but I signed up for the Norfolk group.
Firstly, i wish Dan a speedy recovery👍🚑Dangerous hobby, my mate wanted to give up after a couple of small falls on the byways🤔 Air ambulance should not be run on charity, it's just wrong.😡
I like your videos, i really do! I don't want to be " that bloke", but did not one person ask why you were all riding there??🤔i get reported to police for riding along a byway by dog walkers😕
P.S. I think you will find helicopters DO have a throttle!!!! it has a twist grip on the pitch lever your mate was talking about👍 Otherwise they would be flying on tickover!!😄You can also land one with no engine running, ask me how i know🤣
People been riding bikes there since the day after it closed down in the 70’s. Nearly 50 years ago.
I did think he might it be 100% on his helicopter facts to be fair. Definitely good to know and also very interested in how you know. Don tell me your a chopper pilot?
Also, no to be fair not 1 person asked 🤷♂️
@@jakeGG300 well i need some hill practice so i wish i could ride there😄
