Reminds me of the house we used to walk by in Steelton growing up. Huge plot of over grown land on Lincoln and N. 2nd St., always wondered what that property was.
I will have to look it up. I am actually working on a Steelton story currently. The Lochiel train crash of 1905. Looking at old maps of that area of South Harrisburg and Steelton.
Oh this is so fascinating! I live in this vicinity- I actually live on Cumberland Street but on the other side of the tracks/Cameron St from where I think your ancestors lived. It’s funny when you realize the roads continue where they’ve left off.
Fascinating! I just found your channel and I know for sure I will watch it again. Thank You!
Thank you!
Came from the tiktok algorithm. Your content is fascinating.

@@elizabethbare4208 Thank you. Lol yeah I was surprised to see 13th St. over there.
❤️
The NG Armory just up the road still has the haylofts and hoists for the horses.
Interesting. I will check it out. Keep the ideas coming. Thank you.
Last I saw that house was up for sale on 13th if one were so inclined.
