Yes The Yorubas are loving people. We are the part of Nigerians that love foreigners the most. We care and love so much. You Would like to meet the Yorubas especially if u know me in person, we are trustworthy and loyal ?😁
That is an unfounded assumption. Is it because they live in Lagos, where the ethnic language is Yoruba? Do you really think they'd learn Yoruba if they were in Enugu or Port Harcourt?
Titilayo l appreciate you and the Nigerians also appreciate you for identify with the Nigerians including speaking our second common language Yoruba. God bless and all the Nigerians honor you as a blessing from your country . What you are doing is one of the symbol of God's love among humanity. I Pray that, God almighty will plant His love in you to fulfill Your God's given mandate to humanity and to please God Himself. And we will all remain rapturable in Christ alone.
nothing is as beautiful as humanity coming together in understanding. i totally congratulate and command this young woman for taking the time to master yoruba, intonations and all. a lot of our own african children do not speak their african languages. thanks to her, i now know a few yoruba words myself: eshey (thank u), ki lele hee? (what is this?), otiton (i am done), odagbo (goodbye). nice. very nice indeed.
guys don't be ignorant, she should be applauded for speaking yoruba simply because our languages are not as popular as those language u mentioned and if she learned it in america from a handful of yorubas in america then she's great...
I don't think it is slave mentality... The truth of the matter is that many of us cannot speak or understand the language... Our children are so bad in local languages that many of they do not even understand it, much less speak or appreciate it... Many pay so much to learn french n other languages... I appreciate that she has learnt mine.
What else do you want? an English person that speaks fluent Yoruba. Immersed in the Yoruba culture. That is an anomaly. I’m not surprised that everyone wants to marry her. It’s quite impressive.
Dayummmmmnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is tha Bomb! Titi dey price onions??? Ekpo pupa!!! We should give Titi Yoruba tribal mark! Olorun n gbo! Luv it! :)
Well done Titi. I am a Yoruba, yet I cannot speak it as much as u. Have you ever thought to come and teach yoruba here. The young generation are losing part of their culture ie. there is no emphasis on learining the language. please keep on uplaoding more and more videos during your visits. We look forward to viewing them!
I am beyond SHOCKED to hear this girl speak excellent Yoruba. Although i am Igbo, i speak yoruba very well. But this girl speaks better than me! She does not add one English word! I am still dazed meeen! Americans are toooo much!
Africans go crazy over little things. They are all so thrilled because a white woman is speaking Yoruba. Come to Germany and see how Africans speak perfect German and no German would feel you have brocken a world record because they expects you to learn and speak German if you want to live in Germany. It shouldn't be something extraordinary for foreigners to learn and speak Africa languages
Quit hating! Obviously you don't speak the Yoruba language. I do. People marvel at her because she has an amazing vocabulary where she is able to speak 99-100% Yoruba words without substituting English words. something almost no one I have ever seen can do.
This seriously made me laugh, I'm a Nigerian American teen but I can barely understand Yoruba and speaking it is a whole 'nother story! They are so amazed and intrigued by how well you can speak Yoruba, its kind of amusing. Oh and by the way my name is Layo also. I would also like to know what ori e foka sibe means, because its in a song and the man in the video told this to you. :)
Ori e foka sibe is a street slang that means your head scatter for there.Your head is everywhere. Also ori e wanbe.Your head is there .You are representing lol
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!! Oh my Gosh you gotta be kidding me!! I'm so gobsmacked right now! OH MY GOSH! Loool Nigerians will never change, see them tryna hustle the girl! Lol this is awesome! My man on the bike try marry her right away!!! Naija men! They'll never change!!!
Ah I am more than motivated to let my kids learn Yoruba by all means ooo ah! Imagine Titi is my kids teacher and I pay the school for her to teach them Yoruba SMH
WOW that was impressive, and Nigerians were impressed by my few lines of Pidgin. I guess you couldn't really go anywhere alone, or without that camera crew though.
Oh and im African American I googled the Yoruba language to find a School to learn and it's free.....So I would thank about giving away my blessings if its not to help my own people....
Nigerians are loving people. Give them little love and in return they love you millions.
