Dear Michael, thank you very much for your honest words. I enjoyed seeing all the episodes of your show and got a lot of background information, although I've been part of the FPV community since the beginning. It's sad that it can't go on. I was still hoping for the episode with Charpu. ;) But of course I can fully understand the reasons, because I feel the same way. Thank you for your time and all the best for you and your family from the bottom of my heart. Stay healthy and have a good new year. Greetings from Germany.
Thanks for all of it Michael. It takes a lot of effort to keep up the high quality you have produced for the channel, and it was always noticed. The Rotor Riot pilots interviews and so many others are a big help to the history of fpv. Bye for now.
Thank You for all of your hard work. You have created one if the best channels on RUclips and it is a must watch for the FPV community. I too have a hard enough time balancing everything. As a father chosing to dedicate more time to family is always the best answer. Best wishes as we start this new year.
Thank you for all your content, fpv for me is about chilling out and your interviews bring the same pleasure, you have the channel of a legend, amazing job, very well done, best of luck in your future.
Thank you, you have been doing amazing from what I've seen so far, and I still have to catch up and for sure I will do. Thank you for all the insights from ppl in the fpv community. From the bottom of my heart I wish you and your family all the best imaginable. thank you so so much
Content is king and good content always lives on. Micheal your legacy will certainly live on. The wider FPV community (including my son) thanks you for your efforts and the entertainment you provided to so many - I personally enjoyed so many of your interviews. Thank you too for bringing so much information to light through the lens of others. At times I could sense your stress but your honesty and depth of questioning was such that it shone a light on so many important things people were unaware of. You look great today - physically and mentally - you seem happy and contented in your own skin. That weight loss is significant. Believe me life is very short, so follow your priorities and remember to have fun. Family is everything. Cheers.
Thanks so much for for you time. I will miss you, take care. As a Dad and working to try and keep bills at bay, I feel you on time. I hope you gwt to enjoy flying still, all the best.
I have actually enjoyed it more since closing the channel. It's a very interesting dynamic. And one dad to another, you're doing a great job, even if you don't feel like it. :) Keeping the family taken care of, loving your kids and your partner, that's what matters. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for awesome content; I look forward to you coming back for periodic updates or interviews, the lack of upload cadence will keep it fresh and interesting, unexpected.
I still haven't watched this video yet but I found your channel from the news with JB and It'sBlunty and all I have to say is DAMN I'm bummed that I didn't find you earlier and that I only found you after you were gone. You interview style is great, you have a voice that's perfect for listening to and you seem like a genuine person. I'm going to continue to bing your content and then I'll eventually watch this video and be sad. I hope all is well.
All is very well, and thank you for the kind words. It's been a long, wild journey, and I'm very grateful to have taken it. But time is limited and I have ambitions elsewhere :) I'll still fly from time to time, especially with my sons, but content isn't a priority at all, now. And it's kind of a relief.
I stumbled across your channel with the Kapper interview. I'll miss your show man. The history segments were greatest to me because it was analogous to when I first got into building PCs and getting into I.T. and out of Aerospace. The whole wild wild west similarities made those discussions with the pioneers of the hobby really cool to listen to as well as the other interviews. Balance is important. Ending it with the Bardwell interview is like going out on top. Good luck with your future endeavors. You'll be missed.
I've seen a lot of people & Channels step away, some for awhile some forever. I know i got burned out took a break and kept flying and to me it's always been about flying and my happiness. If it interferes with your loved ones or becomes overwhelming by all means take a break or leave God bless brother.
Well, hard to say anything except : thanks a lot I came along and subscribed just recently after one of your interviews had appeared in my side feed while watching a fpv video from JB. Since then I had caught up and watched what you would call older videos from 2019 and so , that rotorriot game, the australian champ and his kind way of departure from rotor riot and foughts with chad . Those were great and helped me to get into that history, also that of flite test which I did not knew that he had been part in the game. I also found Chad pretty honest in all directions like the fact he could not learn like others, that running out of money was an issue to sell rotor riot when youtube money was disappearing, that he is the right to start something new but not to run something in the long run for growth and the defeats he had to been taking. He seems to be the leader others like to follow and therefore I liked the Nowak interview touching those things he did not like about chad and he still likes and that he had opened the doors to become what he became. But I could also see his desire for fun and party which a usual manager of the game is not so keen to see or at least in a natural balance. These are moments I will miss as I will miss such Trappy interview which is case of its own and for sure will not easy to deal with either. I might watch a lot more about the history and those crossing lines even though FPV racing is not my thing, but the tech and history behind where we are right now where regulations had killed the growth and stupid idiots too that ignored any rules or common sense. Finally I watched the Lexie Janson interviews where you had faced and mentioned negative parts in the community and the whole gender story. Therefore I sit together with my wife talking about that where she had been in the car industry or the oldest car maker where she had made her career against the odds. So I had written a comment now from the european point of view or in particular Lexie's home country currently. My wife has said you can fight a battle in 2 ways as a woman, the man's way or the woman's smart way The woman's smart way she called a way that let's the men never feel that their has been a battle even though being totaly honest if asked. But men usually do not ask women therefore men tend to overhear the real message. But you can find a bit more and a comparison from her about JB and LJ in the video you had released on april 21st 2021 which goes into the details why women are the stongest real critics of other women. At least it took us quite a time to bring some light into it at leat on the channel level cause we are not fpv racers that could judge any flying performance.
It's been a ride. Bummer you can't squeeze it in, but if you are fulfilled in the time you have... enjoy it. you've done some great work here and I've had the pleasure to follow along, Keep on Keepin on, wish you the best, Enjoy the new year, hope to see you pop up from time to time. Peace and Love to you and your family. Ciao for now.
I like your priorities, and yet I'm sad. Leave FPV out of it, and I still love your interview style. It seems you look deep before you begin, you seek beyond people who just agree with you, and you genuinely listen in the moment. Most people struggle with some of that. (Do I hit like, when I don't like this, but I see this as big news in itself.) Best to you.
Michael, I couldn't agree with your sentiments any more heartily! These past few years I have hardly gotten to fly or enjoy the hobby because of some large life transitions in my professional life and my personal life. It's caused me to totally reassess where FPV should be in the order of all of my other priorities. (Family, Work, spiritual relationships, etc.) And I have to say that you have chosen well my friend...and there will be treasure in heaven for it! I never want to look back and wish I had spent more time with my boys or wasn't emotionally available for my wife because I was too busy "flying." I do want to make sure to let you know that you and your show provided one of the highlights of my whole life when I got randomly invited to an interview with you and Bob Roogi one night. I was in disbelief for days and weeks thereafter. So, thanks for all you did (and even may continue to do) for our FPV community. Much love brother and keep keepin' the main things the main things! Matt. 6:33
Haha! Those "you join the interview" sessions were the absolute best. I truly loved letting folks join in on those. I always felt so lucky to get to talk to so many of these folks, and I knew that others would love it, as well. I'm so happy that that made your day and week. Put a giant smile on my face. Thanks Allen, and I hope that God bless you, too!
Wow, thank you Michael and continued success in the future. Your videos will live on and I hope to see you occasionally in the future. Happy New Year! Cheers!
Love it brotha man, sometimes you gotta move on and do what’s best for you and your family. Looking good to man. Best of luck! If you ever wanna rip, let me know. I’d love to burn a last pack with ya! Happy New Year Michael Rollins!
Pressing the like button is counterintuitive here. But I’ll do it for the awesome way in which you announced the end of your fantastic show. I support your decision and totally respect your motives. There is not a lot of time in a week! Micheal, writing as a newbie, I feel so pleased to have come to be a fan before you retired. Your family is lucky to have some who puts them first everyday. Bless you all!
dang, I just discovered your channel and its a shame to see you leave, but your home and health come first man. Take care of yourself and thanks for the content!
I absolutely loved every one of your shows and so sad to see it go, but yet I'm so happy to see you and your family doing so well and to see you inspire GetFPV and other renditions to created and inspired from your indepth interviews. Cheers Michael Rollins and I wish you and your family the best of luck and health in the future!!! ♥♥♥♥
Thank you, Zenakis! It was quite fun watching GetFPV take up the interviews. I'm hopeful that this kind of thing will continue. I hope that you have a fantastic 2022, and thank you for watching for so many episodes. It was always good to see you comment :)
Thank you man, i have no words to tell how i appreaciate your show, it was just perfect, I still hope to see a last content with our Eleanor. Maybe Fpv gods listen me. Enjoy your life!!!
Thank YOU Michael for all the content and sharing the history of FPV. For the commitment and the time you invested. I wish you only the best for the future and maximum happiness. Let us know from time to time how it is going. All the best from Germany and never stop flying. Btw. Happy new year and a great 2022!
Thanks Michael! I’m a newbie to FPV (starting with DJI FPV Drone due to disability- I really need the stability and “pause button” ). I’m 57 and have a background in soldering LOL (I’m an EE). Actually… I came from the Mavic pro / Mavic 2 pro / Mavic 2 zoom / Air-2S world but just had to try FPV after watching the immensely talented pilots here on RUclips. Drew Camden / Nurk / Tommy / Drew Heron / Joshua Bardwell / BotGrinder (wayyyy too much drug use, so the kids are banned from his content) and a whole bunch more FPV pilots who truly have mad skills have stirred something in me to try. Thank YOU for giving me an insight into the history of FPV. You really have great interviewing skills.!!.. Good Luck with your future endeavors and with the family. And…. How can I forget?? Let’s Go Brandon!
I'm sad that show is ending, there were some truly tremendous interviews. But you have your priorities straight. I wish you best of luck in your future endeavors. Happy flying.
I spend much of my RUclips time wondering how you (RUclipsrs) manage life, fpv which is a massive time suck in itself, and these wonderful video productions…I get inspired by this. You’ve truly left a gift to the FPV community and I’m grateful for that. I’m of course sad to see this go, but I’m more happy hear where you are in life. For most of us, life is not ascending staircase - there are good times and bad…and to say everything is the best it’s ever been is both a massive achievement and something incredibly precious. I have no doubt you’ll continue be successful and wish you the best.
All I can say is I will miss your content. Truly unique and inspiring. My only question to you is about your spiritual journey, I know it's sort of unrelated to FPV but your words intrigued me and I would really like to know more?
The long and short is that as part of getting my head straight, I had to focus on my body and my walk with the Lord. I read a biography by Charles Swindoll about Jesus to kick it off, and then read a book called Surprised by Hope by NT Wright. Both of these books had a large part in redefining my understanding of my Christian walk. Well worth the read.
Quads and FPV have been a hobby that I have stuck with longer than any other. Which says a lot for an old Gemini. Enjoyed watching your channel. Alas, time gets us all eventually. God Bless and good luck with the future. Keep flying!!!
It is truly sad to see you go but I so respect your decision. It makes me happy to hear someone talk about the Lord openly without being embarrassed on social media. God bless and I hope your journey brings you closer than ever to your family and to god.
Thank you, Crispin. If there is one thing I have tried to do during this entire thing, it was bring all of myself to the table every time. And that's part of me. Stay strong, and God bless.
Making me cry!. So happy for you and all that you have in your life. Thank you for doing everything you have done, you are invaluable to the fpv community. Hope one day to see more of you. ❤✌
Michael, we here at DroneCuts will continue to translate your videos in Portuguese in our channel, your legacy deserves to be shared in other languages! Thank you for the journey!
Thank you for sharing your life experience while making your viewers feel like we were there getting to know the people that had a huge impact on our beloved hobby. You are a genuine, kind person, that we can relate to and were able to relate to your subjects so well that they in turn were comfortable enough having long conversations sharing who they really are and some of their story. Although Mr Steele seemed to hold his cards tightly like a good poker player. He's an enigmatic mysterious guy. But I "steele" 😁feel like I got to know him a little bit more thanks to you. I wish you nothing but the best. Thank you for the impact you had on our hobby. Sincerely. I think if you wanted to, you would be a great news anchor. But who watches that anymore right? Happy trails Michael.
Happy new year, Michael! I'm really happy to hear you're doing well in so many ways. Thank you for bringing us all these amazing stories. Happy flying, my friend! :)
Bravo mr rollins! It was a great show that was made by a great mind. Very happy with all the interviews and i always looked forward to a new one. Stay fly!
man did i learn stuff here with all the good interviews you made!!!! i wish you all the good things and take care of yourself and you loved ones See ya bud!!!!🤘
Keep on keeping on bro. Thank you for all that you've done for the community. Hope to see stand-alone flight edits from you here and there! Never quit flying bro.
@@MichaelRollins Yep, I got that. But still, the only constant is change. You look happy (and thin!), so it's just me being selfish hoping you'll return. Hoping you have a great 2022.
It's been a journey, heh. 40 pounds down from the beginning of the year and the best cardiovascular health I've ever had. I plan on keeping it up, just need to get over an injury.
Aw dude say it ain’t so!! Gonna miss ya big guy. I haven’t posted in forever. Just been flying for myself and getting back to why I started….just to have fun. I’m way happier this way. Good luck and reach out to us occasionally sir!
Bro. I was just wondering what the hell happened to Michael Rollins and I searched through all of my subscriptions cause I couldn't remember your last name (you were near the bottom), and I found this video. Time sucks! Never enough. Hope you see this and hope you're doing well. We miss you. Miss the interviews, the history, and the rest of your content. You're awesome bro. Whatever you're up to I hope it's satisfying. Feel free to come back!
I won't lie, I did have the thought of dropping a "worst people in FPV" troll post tomorrow. But I won't. But I did think it... So maybe not 100% classy, lmao.
GET IT BROTHER!!!!! You've been killing it, and doing it in a sustainable way. So excited to see where you go. You're going to be a giant force in this hobby.
duuuuuuude, I don't think people realize how hard I tried to get him on, lmao. He always, always said no. Very, very politely, but always no. /shrug You win some, but the unicorn still roams free!
Well sometimes choices have to be made, you’ve definitely made a good run of it. You’ve gained the knowledge and maybe, perhaps boredom might have set in. Or it could be a time constraint with it getting in the way of other important things in life. You have your reasons, you will be missed however don’t be a stranger, wouldn’t mind seeing you from time to time. Heck the next time we see you you could be sporting a multi colored mohawk with facial tats and huge lobe earrings. 😄 But hopefully you’ll keep your sanity and leave that stuff to the Botman instead. Hate to see you go, definitely going to keep y’all in my prayers and that God brings you many blessings and that you stay safe.
:) I do wish I had time to do it justice still, but that is not the stage of life our family is in. But, thank you for the note. Means a lot to know that folks still think what I did has value.
Thank you very much, I’ve noticed your lack of interest a few interviews back. Especially the audio issue. Also the questions were all the same for every guest, it was a bit annoying.
Yeah, it was the things like that. I would notice, but I legitimately have time to make it better. That's not "good enough". So better to end it than half-ass it. Thanks for watching for so long!
Thanks for the show, but I'd consider spending less time imaging there's a magic man in the sky who thinks your special, even if it makes you feel good.
Well, if there is a magic man in the sky, then I'm doing the right thing. But if there isn't, I'm a seemingly better person to the point that my wife and kids have noticed pretty major improvements. So, either which way I'm happy with it. :D Glad you enjoyed the show and I hope that life goes well for you.
More power to you Michael! Thanks for all the entertainment.
Anytime, my friend! It was always so much fun having you on :)
Thanks for all your work.
Happy 2022 🙋♂️
Thanks for watching! And happy 2022 to you!
Thank you, Hangtime! :) It's been a great run and I'm so honored that so many have enjoyed it, including you.
Hats off. Thank you. Godspeed. Your "old"content is amazing and will live forever. The story must be told.
That's all I can ask, truthfully. And thank you, it's good to have folks love what I've done.
Bless you.
Thanks for all of it Michael. It takes a lot of effort to keep up the high quality you have produced for the channel, and it was always noticed. The Rotor Riot pilots interviews and so many others are a big help to the history of fpv. Bye for now.

There were a lot of great interviews, thanks!
Enjoy the time with yourself and your family! Thanks for all you have done. Keep the door cracked open a little, please?
The door isn't shut by any means. But my time and energy has to go elsewhere. I would love to say "maybe", but for now, this is enough, I think :)

Hey Dude, Really appreciated your show and glad to see your life is in a better place also! I really wish you the best in you're future endeavors
Thanks man! And you keep killing it. So good to see a new generation rise up :)

Thank you man, i have no words to tell how i appreaciate your show, it was just perfect,
I still hope to see a last content with our Eleanor.
Thank you, man. I'll check in occasionally :)
I just subscribed today damn it! Lol love your speech and I'm going to watch all of your later content and I hope I get the same experience take care
I enjoyed your channel. maybe Ill see you flying around in VB at some point.
it's possible, especially if you're in Kingston's field! And thank you. I wish I had met far more of the locals, but our area is so big...
Thank ou Michael
Thank you Jrod.
Thanks Michael!
I’m a newbie to FPV (starting with DJI FPV Drone due to disability- I really need the stability and “pause button” ).
I’m 57 and have a background in soldering LOL (I’m an EE). Actually…
I came from the Mavic pro / Mavic 2 pro / Mavic 2 zoom / Air-2S world but just had to try FPV after watching the immensely talented pilots here on RUclips.
Thank you, friend.
Thank you for so many awesome interviews! Very well done my friend!
Thank you, Wassim. I appreciate it.
Thanks for the history lessons. ;)
Much appreciated brother, really enjoyed your content and blessings to you and your family, God bless 🙏
Thank you, Justin. God bless to you all, as well.
All the best in 2022 to you and yours Mike!
Same to you, my friend!
I'm back in the states now, if you ever make another trek to Fla we will do a meet up!!
You will always be our Legend!
Thanks man, you too! Air Pirates 4 lyfe!
@@MichaelRollins Great to hear, I'll probably have to check them out. Although happy for you, very sad to see you go. I will miss your content
Thank you sir, you did a great job.
Thank you Stinkerton!
Happy holidays to you and all your family
Thanks my friend!
Quads and FPV have been a hobby that I have stuck with longer than any other. Which says a lot for an old Gemini. Enjoyed watching your channel. Alas, time gets us all eventually. God Bless and good luck with the future. Keep flying!!!
Same to you, BCM!
Its sure been a fun ride bro!! So nice to see someone local come up. We still need to meetup one of these darned days... 😅👍
And I've only just discovered you! Hope you are well!
Making me cry!. So happy for you and all that you have in your life. Thank you for doing everything you have done, you are invaluable to the fpv community. Hope one day to see more of you. ❤✌
:) Thank you Mad!
Michael, we here at DroneCuts will continue to translate your videos in Portuguese in our channel, your legacy deserves to be shared in other languages! Thank you for the journey!
Thank you my friend! I hope that it all brings you some goodness :)
Stay fly!
I plan on staying fly for a long time! Thanks for watching!
man did i learn stuff here with all the good interviews you made!!!! i wish you all the good things and take care of yourself and you loved ones See ya bud!!!!🤘
Adios, friend. Glad to have had you along.
Keep on keeping on bro. Thank you for all that you've done for the community. Hope to see stand-alone flight edits from you here and there! Never quit flying bro.
I plan on flying for a loooong time. You might see a flight edit here or there :)
+1👍 💪
Michael, never say never. Things change and perhaps you can come back to RUclips for FPV and your outstanding interviews. Be well.
That's why you never say last pack :)
@@MichaelRollins
Yep, I got that. But still, the only constant is change. You look happy (and thin!), so it's just me being selfish hoping you'll return. Hoping you have a great 2022.
Thank YOU
Mike you look great dude.
Thanks man. Glad to have had you along.
This is unfortunate, I just found you. At least I have a few interviews that I can watch.
Haha, around 75, actually. I hope that you love the content and I hope that it gives you a greater connection to the hobby.
And may I add, classy exit!, ❤️
I won't lie, I did have the thought of dropping a "worst people in FPV" troll post tomorrow. But I won't. But I did think it... So maybe not 100% classy, lmao.
@@MichaelRollins Your above that I think. At least publicly. (if you want to compare notes in PMs that's different however 😉🤔)
LOL, not even there. But sometimes...
On your left
GET IT BROTHER!!!!! You've been killing it, and doing it in a sustainable way. So excited to see where you go. You're going to be a giant force in this hobby.
Man.. I mean I fully understand, but the Charpu interview is still missing !
duuuuuuude, I don't think people realize how hard I tried to get him on, lmao. He always, always said no. Very, very politely, but always no. /shrug You win some, but the unicorn still roams free!
You retire like 3 days before I pass you up? Noooo
I had to go out before you could catch me! That way I can always say that you never did catch me. :P
Bring back the hype train and don’t leaves for too long
I still watch those on occasion. They really were funny! Hope you're well!
@@MichaelRollins I am well when I come back to Virginia we need fly and catch up
Well sometimes choices have to be made, you’ve definitely made a good run of it.
But hopefully you’ll keep your sanity and leave that stuff to the Botman instead.
Hate to see you go, definitely going to keep y’all in my prayers and that God brings you many blessings and that you stay safe.
Thank you :) I'm not into piercings or tats, but I have always wanted a rainbow mohawk...
@@MichaelRollins lol
I just wanted to say I miss your show.
Thanks for watching for so long!
awesome tho enjoy you’re show
You know, RUclips isn't an "on or off" kind of thing. I subscribe to some creators who only post a video once every few *months*...
hey Team blackout guy you have to do please
But Charpu called ....
Haha, I would 100% do the Charpu interview.
@@MichaelRollins Charwho ? LOLz
Glad you enjoyed the show and I hope that life goes well for you.
@@MichaelRollins I have often said, if I am right about that then good for me. If I am wrong, how has that harmed you?
