Jessa and Ben are my favorite mainly because Jessa posts so much about their lives. I like Jinger and Jeremy and Joy and Austin but would like to see more about them. I don’t dislike any of them except Josh.
Love all the couples but I am enjoying Jessa and Ben because they do a lot of videos to keep us up with them. As well as Joy and Austin and Jed and Katie now are too. Really miss the show and seeing what is happening in their lives.
Derrick asked JB to be his prayer partner AFTER he was in Nepal. Also, they’ve said on their RUclips channel that after filming Jill and JB leaving in a taxi, they actually came back around the block and stayed another week that wasn’t filmed and spent Thanksgiving together.
I loved what Derek said about the reason they all got married so quickly.... "They wanted to have sex"!! So true when you are brought up with such strict rules.
I don’t think I know them well enough to have a favorite. I watched their show from the beginning and followed their journeys after it ended. I enjoy following Jill, Jessa, Jinger and Joy Anna. I also follow Anna and try to follow the couples on social media though since I’m older I relate to the older girls more.
When you look up to someone within a church you respect, yes you may ask for them to pray for you or partner with you in prayer. Of course it’s all assuming everyone you communicate with are in fact in walk with the Lord. We have fellowship and mentoring groups within our church and that’s how we get to know people better and help each other through trials.
All the son in laws fill it out. Derick's family wasnt known to the Duggars, they are totally mainstream Christians. Ben's family wasnt known either, again mainstream christian. THe only son in law who comes from their IBLP circle is Austin. Jeremy hadnt been a soccer player in years, his 2 year professional career bombed and he was a minister for years before they met
The Bible talks about being “equally yoked” which means you need to be in the same place spiritually with your spouse because if not it can cause a lot of struggle and strife! Imagine a Catholic and an atheist marrying- not saying it’s bad or couldn’t work but how would you choose what to raise the children to believe?
This is extremely common in my country. Many catholics either left the church or left christianity when it was uncovered in the Royal Commission that the Catholic church was essentially running a child r@pe cabal. Same with JWs, Mormons, Anglicans etc....just about every christian sect. Those who remained christian are mostly nominal. Religious differences are rarely a reason marriages end here. So they raise their kids with the option to choose what or if they want anything to do with religion. So logically, sans childhood indoctrination, kids choose not to be involved with religion, especially when it has been shown in our culture that you dont need religion for morality and, in fact, secular nations have been demonstrated to be more civilised, people happier, healthier and funancially secure. Ultimately, how these marriages work depends on the culture and people's access to information, education and economic security.
And if both parents have different religons and both have a very strong belief that their religion is the one true religion, how do they decide which one "right?" Does one spouse go to one church and the other go to a separate church? It would be strange to teach the kids only one of the religions and leave the other spouse and their religion out. The whole thing seems untenable. I'm glad my husband and I both dislike organized religion and prefer spiritual independence.
Nathan was just in Turkey for like 2 months helping with relief from the Earthquakes there, and Esther is taking care of home and little Kenna who is 6 Months old now.
Watching counting on, Jill and derick, jinger and Jeremy and Austin and joy are my favorite couples. I think the family takes a lot of back lash for other people’s faults and I feel bad for them. I’m proud of Jill and jinger for taking leaps of faith and creating some boundaries.
God calls us to live apart from the world’s “norm”. We are focusing on courtship-dating with purpose to marry- with our children. The goal is not to give too much too soon to just anyone but to focus on who you can build a life with and not getting your heart broken a dozen times until you get it right.
They are too young an uneducated (homeschooled) to know who they want to be a lifetime mate. They are far to isolated and controlled to make that choice. I believe JB chose who and when they they were going to marry.
Your comment is uneducated. Actually it's ignorant. Homeschooled people can be just as smart and successful as any one else. Colleges have a high acceptance rate for homeschool students. Please leave your public education comments out of the comment section.
To the commentator, you on2 occasions talked down on thier religion! If you are not a person of faith that does go to church weekly! Of course you wouldn't go to church on Vacation...
Jill and Derrick coz they got the hell out of the IBLP. She is her own woman, who unlike her sisters, is not controlled by her father anymore. Plus Derrick has a law degree so he isn't beholden to JB like the other sons-in-law are.
Which Duggar couple is your favorite?? Chime in!
It’s changed over the years, but rn it’s Jill and Derrick.
Jill and Derrick.
Jill and Derrick!
Jill joy
Jessa and Ben are my favorite mainly because Jessa posts so much about their lives. I like Jinger and Jeremy and Joy and Austin but would like to see more about them. I don’t dislike any of them except Josh.
Why do I start to tear up as soon as I see John David & Abbie? There's something so sweet and touching about them as a couple.
Ben and Jessa - most awkward courting proposal ever.
Didn't include the wedding dates of the last several couples. but other than that, nicely done, thanks!
Arranged marriage. Done, nailed it.
Most enjoyable video of Duggars I’ve seen! Thank you for not trashing them. You’re upbeat and I like your attitude. I subscribed.
Love all the couples but I am enjoying Jessa and Ben because they do a lot of videos to keep us up with them. As well as Joy and Austin and Jed and Katie now are too. Really miss the show and seeing what is happening in their lives.
Jinger and Jeremy moved to Laredo, TX and THEN to LA.
Derrick asked JB to be his prayer partner AFTER he was in Nepal. Also, they’ve said on their RUclips channel that after filming Jill and JB leaving in a taxi, they actually came back around the block and stayed another week that wasn’t filmed and spent Thanksgiving together.
Anyone else notice how much Claire looks like Jana?
Loved the video you have a cute up beat personality. You should do a video of a list of all the babies in order too.
Thanks!! Yes great idea!!
Josh and Anna - most awkward proposal EVER.
As I understand it the marriage was arranged and they barely knew each other.
In a what a Pizza restaurant..only place he could get her parents to bring her to. Should have took a picnic in a park. Poor Anna. Was just a kid.
I loved what Derek said about the reason they all got married so quickly.... "They wanted to have sex"!! So true when you are brought up with such strict rules.
Jinger’s dress was my favorite

You forgot to mention that Jed and Katie are expecting this month, and there was some controversy over their public baby announcement.
Love Joy & Jill.

Do you follow the Bates at all? I haven't seen any updates about Nathan and Ester...it's like they disappeared.
Esther just had a child. They have a YT channel with the bates. All the kids are on there.
Nathan was just in Turkey for like 2 months helping with relief from the Earthquakes there, and Esther is taking care of home and little Kenna who is 6 Months old now.
Many of the Bates kids have their own youtube channels. Esther just announced her 2nd pregnancy due Oct 2024

Jinger and Jeremy

Lol good guess
To the commentator, you on2 occasions talked down on thier religion! If you are not a person of faith that does go to church weekly! Of course you wouldn't go to church on Vacation...
Not talking down on their religion, but personally I don't go to church on vacation.
@@RealityCharm why not? You can take a vacation but not a vacation from God !
Children marrying Children!! A Boy of 18 getting married. This is Child Abuse!! The Law should of been called in on this one!!
