OMG....as soon as my wife and I can travel, we will go on a food crawl and follow your suggestions. Our family lives in Toril, Davao City, and Tagum. We are excited to taste the food at these great places.
Thanks for another brilliant video! What was the purple sauce you were using? Also, don't lift your truck. If you prefer a comfortable ride, leave it as is. Once you lift the suspension, the ride becomes more harsh and the handling will suffer. Remember, Toyota designed this truck to be as capable, comfortable, and safe as it can be. Lifting it will replace factory parts with non genuine parts and will ultimately lower the reliability and safety.
I agree about what lifting your truck might result in a harsher drive. It is true. Anytime you change anything on your vehicle that didn't already come with or on it, you raise the chance of messing something else up. I don't think it has to be a harsher drive. It kind of depends on what kind of ride you want and if the mechanic has the skills to give you the ride you want. I can understand the option of lifting your truck, because of many of the Philippine roads and back roads. In some places, you may even run into a foot of water after heavy rain. Four inches can mean a lot when it is really needed. One thing to keep in mind if you are thinking of a lift kit. None of us are getting any younger. Getting up and down can become a real hassle.
Hiya, always great when you drop a new video. I hope you are keeping well. Glad to see you got your truck sorted. Omg, what a tasting session. All the food looked delicious. Garlic aioli top sauce goes with many things. Enjoyable video as always. Thank you for sharing. Wishing you and Nhel a lovely weekend. And your fur babies too. Take care.
Excellent video! Great idea installing the heavy duty shocks too. With the places you go to/plan to go to, you really need to have a strong suspension system. I am really a fan of your food reviews too! You have this European flare that makes your reviews so professional and fascinating. Love how you also bring food to your buddies at Kumar Kastle. I always smile when I hear them cheering you when you arrive. In fact, all you guys there make me smile! Thank you so much!
Can’t wait to visit my hometown of Davao city again soon. Last time I was home was in 2016. Thanks for this Vlog KD, nice to see a lot of familiar places and delicious food. Stay safe always
Kumander, usually if you lift your vehicle, you will need different size shocks, but not always. I have had several jeeps n trucks. There are kits available that include shocks that can be bolt ready to install. Could be a cheaper way to go.
You are so blessed Ansel! I don't consider you Daot You have the purest of hearts! It shows in your obra! Yes I hope to come out alive in these pandemic tines so I could come home and surge on food trips in the islands of The Philippines!
The more than one year without human intervention, during the lockdowns are truly doing wonders to nature!!! Even here in the big city, there are more birds back!
you videos are getting better . Just never get into any drama like others keep to you life there . please , your my new fav. I'm on a diet no I'm not. made me laugh .
Great video with lots of great food. I will be needing to find those places whenever I can get there. I love fried chicken so I will enjoy it a lot. Love to food videos.
Love your food reviews .😋 You could get some stickers made up to give out to people. Have a business one with DAOT Seal Of Approval.. And one for people that has another logo maybe. Carry a few stickers around. 👍 You have way to many subscribers to give stickers away unless they send you a self addressed postage stamped envelope. And then you need an address to send mail too. But just stickers there for people would be cool. Lol😂 That chicken Sammy looked so good.
It's 5am here and I get a notification, and all that foodakes my bacon and eggs and fried bread, baked beans seem very bland, love your video, enjoy your rides🤗🤗🤗♥️
Hey Kumander, Have you ever thought of visiting Samal Island? Highly recommend such a beautiful island and it’s not that far from Davao city which is a ferry boat ride away....🤙
When I see the food, I became excited to eat. I missed the Middle Eastern food. I worked in Bahrain before iwhere I first taste these kind of food. Biryani is so delicious, shawarma, Sikh khabab, madjibus rice, and all their curry recipes are good and delicious.. Good luck KD, and thanks for this video.
I don't think I ever miss any of KD's videos but I am waiting to see if he enjoys one of my favorite restaurants in Davao City as much as I and my family does. Lachi's was often a weekly stop for us or at least whenever we were downtown Davao City. We always got the ribs and one of their many desserts.
Great video Anselm , I was cooking some Pork Sausages for lunch watching you eat all that yummy food then you mentioned Garlic Mayo so I bought some yesterday in M&S so you know what I did I dipped my sausages in the Garlic Mayo and ate the lot LOL so yummy thanks Anselm take care .

KDddddddddd..... Ayaw palabi ug kaon ug sobra kadaghan. We care of your health! Pag exercise like walking along the beach sa Cateel morning and afternoon.
Wow, delicious food Kumander - masarap! That Hilux is the best for sure - gonna get one when I retire. I've only owned Toyotas up until I recently bought an F150 which I love, but not sure if I can get it there to the Philippines when we move there, lol You are becoming really brilliant in your videos and your natural state of delivery - so much fun to watch! Keep up the great work - and you definitely picked the right shocks for your truck - well done! Stay well :)
Wow. Make sure you hand feed the beautiful Wife any left overs you brought back. :-) Also my thanks to the Australian for sending you those sauces. That would've given me tears of joy. :-) And that was some lush food at those restaurants. Wow!! Nice your truck worked on. Just needs a snorkel and some headlight lens polish to make them clear again.
I was thinking with that much food intake, you will have to go on foot going home hahaha but those food just look delectably irresistible..food is life..dili uso ang diet..but the best thing is you went biking and I know you're watching your weight :-D Ay didto diay gikan ang pasalubong for cateel! Amping mo tanan..
Can you go one size larger tires without them rubbing? Maybe give you a couple centimeters more ground clearance.. You need to find a lift like 2 or 3 inches that won't need you to change too much other stuff because of stress and angles. Also larger wheels or tires will put more weight on the stock shafts and bearings and brakes. They make a 2" lift for like 2015-2019 highlander that is like $350 USD . I would only go 2-3 inches

@@KumanderDaot ah yah. Keep it under 3 inches and you will not need any drivetrain components 👍
@@KumanderDaot might need to get a little wheel well cutting done . or some trimming and new trim on wheel wells to give a good clearance
@@kevinnashskitchen3517 yeah I wouldn't go more than 2 inches up, that would let me go to 265/70 on the tires easily
