The Apayao Travel and Tours are such a fun group! i see you've been touring with them several times. So nice to see you connect and make lasting friendships even in far up north of the country. Quite impressive how you were so open to eat the local dishes especially for someone from the UK hehe. And that HRM student joke was so classic pinoy humor! If there's another person deserving to become a Filipino citizen it is definitely you kumander!
Thanks for the tour of Marag Valley. It is such a fascinating and beautiful place. I never knew that there was an insurgency that far north. The history throughout the Philippines leaves me in awe. The rock formations were otherworldly, and I can't imagine what it would have been like negotiating them to make your escape. Definitely wouldn't have been a quick process, although being familiar with the formations would have given a definite advantage in making your way through. And the underground river also being a means of escape was surprising. The food looked so incredible! I would love to try it. Since I love eating spicy foods, I think I would enjoy it with all the chilis.
Thank you so much for such a great vlog touring us in Marag Valley. The place is truly magical. The food you had is the spiciest I’ver seen. I was laughing so hard at you swallow all the chilis.😂😂😂😂 The rock formation reminds me of the hoodoos in Bryce Canyon National Park in Utah. Didn’t know the Philippines has something similar 🤩! Thank you, KD! Take care and God bless. 🥰
Your great sense of adventure is evident at the rock formation when you walked gingerly and carefully!! I really think you enjoy this kind adventure. Someone said that he hopes that Dept of Tourism would watch your videos!! I really think they Have. They could learn a thing or two from your videos!! No malice intended!!❤🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks to Mam Cherie of Apayao Travel and Tours for arranging this... She really knows this part of the world well and I highly recommend! (not sponsored haha)
Every vlog you do Kumander brings out the beauty and the history of the Philippines. Your laughter is contagious and brings out the Filipinos laughing with you. Continue your adventures in the Philippines and hope to see you in Calbayog again.
Thanks Kumander D for featuring Marag Valley. It's one of the less touristy but a potential place in the North. Admiring you for trying to be in those rock formations. There are still caves there undiscovered by DENR. Stay safe Kumander ! 🥰

Brilliant vlog Kommander, You were very good to climb through the rock formations, fair play fella, Not sure I could have done that , And as for your rice field plowing qualifications, Brilliant job, made me laugh Your an asset to the Philippine tourism industry, very very worthwhile watching your videos and travels, An avid supporter of you, Thank you… Terrific work..Regards to you and all involved in this episode, love to the team and your family..Mr Pat…
Unlucky you did not get to go into that underground river. It goes deep into the mountain with pitch dark portion. At end, it has an opening with large rocks, towering rock wall, large trees. There is a small falls when you walk further in. It was magical and fascinating.
Always so interesting and so rich in history, (and spice!) I did laugh when you were climbing in your sliders! 😂 It reminded me of when we went to the underground river in Palawan and I climbed Ugong rock in my slippers (or flip flops as we call them here) in my defence, I had no idea there would be any form of rock climbing involved 😂
We are always happy to have you here in Apayao, next year let us explore more. Let us meet the Isnag as stewards of the home Philippines Eagles. Here in Apayao Travel and Tours, we are proud how you tell our stories. Thank you for the unlimited ads😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Nice detour! You need some adventure TroPeak sandals for climbing, hiking and water trekking kumander, by the way do you need one? Stay safe and RS! 🙏🤙🌳♻️💚🇵🇭
Yes. Banana leaves must be sanitized with fire and then wiped with a clean damp cloth before being used as a food wrap or platter. This will also make the leaves pliable.

Is that the Apayao River? Thank you. Such a beautiful place on God's green earth. Loved the video and the places.
This is a different river that exits at Pamplona, I think! But still so beautiful!
@@KumanderDaot Thank you! We love seeing all of these undiscovered out of the way gems of the Philippines. You do a wonderful job of taking us there.

Kumander Dante founded the NPA and now kumander Daot is there . That boat ride is a mini version of shooting the rapid .

5:23 Barefoot Rock Climbing!
❤❤❤
Daot Chili Peppers🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Marag valley was the training ground of the NPA's KD,it was bombarded by the phil.air force to submission way back the 1990's.
I think they should rename those rock formations the Kumander Daot Training facility for Bayan Patrollers
I really want to get that Suzuki vstrom 250. If you dont mind asking, what is your height?
I'm about 5'10! My feet touch the ground easily though not both flat at the same time
Just 😮😮😮

The "Kamote" joke was a good one 😅
Do you want to come to Indonesia, my brother? To be precise, I am in Papua.
