The alien plant is a saguaro that's "crested". Tucson has saguaros everywhere, but the crested type are rare and special! There are a lot of theories (and myths) about the cresting, but it's most likely a genetic mutation. Thanks for sharing the resort video!
Hey, informative video. Yes I'd have to say for this one , it looks nicer from a distance ? I like your honesty and telling folks the pro's and con's of staying at some of these places that you have visited and or stayed at ! I really think the best part of this resort was the pool and hot tub. I was with you on the campsite's. Why would they have you park your truck, BEHIND your trailer or RV ? You guys should have been parking your Ram NEXT to your rig, where the little green car was, then you would have had that space to sit in and have your picnic table there also. Not very well thought out at all. No, didnt care for that at all. Im with you, next trip , Catalina State Park !! It was in a beautiful area , and much more wide open spaces !!! I didnt even like Milo's doggie run area ! In the drain run off area? No grass? It look like , a prison ! where would you take your dog if you had a few days of heavy rain? would that get flooded out ? Nah,sorry, but this one's going to the bottom of the list. Ahhh I remember this. You guys did a short on the alien cactus and yes we think it looks like an alien. Really cool. Great location, cute park but the sites are lacking. However, that hot tub was really awesome looking. Thank you for the information .

Stayed there twice. The activity area is very nice. The campsites are pretty grim. Basically it is a parking lot.
