... your rifle looks like a Ruger M77 MKii All Weather stainless bolt action in 300 Win Mag ... some replace the factory Zytel black stock and free float the barrel as they correctly assume that the narrow butt pad focuses recoil energy and increases felt recoil ... the Zytel stock is a competent solid stock so I kept mine on as I don't mind the recoil ... they are a tough firearm
I'm not changing anything on the gun. It works great with the way it's set up now and the recoil doesn't bother me at all.
@@BuickOutdoors ... I also switched out the stiff "fence post" factory Ruger trigger for a Timney set at a crisp 2 pound pull

The bear is the size of the dog, shameful.
its still legal though. Looks like in the synopsis this go around it is unlawful to hunt a bear 2 years or younger. That is an addition to the synopsis just this year. Based on what I saw that bear is much older than 2 years. I understand if you choose to shoot only a 6 foot bear, some people are just simply after the meat.
