Same experience here. Nobody keeps a receipt for a $40 guitar cable, and they know that so they rarely have to honor warranties. Pig Hog will send you a new cable if theirs breaks EVEN without a receipt in my experience. Great customer service. I ditched Monster a couple years ago for Pig Hog (and Mogami gold for recording). I've been surprised at how good and also how robust Pig Hog cables have been. So far I've only broken one, but that was my fault, and they replaced it immediately.
Monster cables once made great guitar cables but like all companies that sell there business,the quality goes to crap..id be willing to bet,they did the same..ive also heard good things about "pig hog "but havent tried them myself..roland and neutrik makes great cables
I quit using Monster Cables as well. I had a similar experience. I bought a right angle Monster cable from Sweetwater. It was dead on arrival. Sweetwater replaced it no charge and didn't even ask for the dead one in return. The replacement worked for about two weeks. Time to give another company a try.
nice man if our economy was good i can buy pig hog but im student and economy in my country isnt good so i cant puy cable like you have xDDD good video
I've had bad experiences with both brands. I wouldnt consider pig hog to be dependable cables. I'm on my third pig hog cause they short out for no reason.

All patch, microphone, instrument cables are Pig Hog.

After doing research I came across pig hog awhile back I’ve been usising them since they are really good cables they are my go to
Not that I'm a professional but PigHog are the only cables I use. Both Instrument and XLR. I've had good luck so far.
