Personally, every athlete here is amazing in their own right; and so recently Ohtani just broke a record for 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in a single season, which hasn’t been broken by any other player in general in history and is signed with the dodgers for 700 million USD. Baseball may not be popular outside certain countries but honestly he is a monster in baseball history and maybe even in the entire world right now. The first Asian in baseball history to be this good, while also being a pitcher and hitter, which is already something so difficult and not even being raised in America?! Guy literally won the lottery of life and is humble about it too.😅 It’s beyond crazy how good he is.

- No hate on Yao Ming but unlike the athletes mentioned here the former never dominated basketball like any of latter, props to him still as a Hall of Famer, he stood nearly toe to toe with the great in the NBA. I would still rank him among the top 10 or 15 but the list is too stacked for the 5
