Hi Pavlo, I am one of your followers from Bangladesh. I enjoy watching your videos from Ukraine village. Life is so simple in village. Feel sad for the war.
Wow,the home is starting to come together well. It's bright again like in the old photos. This is heart warming knowing it's from the family and you both took time to revive it. Beautiful. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦 💙 🇺🇸
So nice to see this house pass to the next generation. Your father seems very handy so I’m sure he passed it on to you. Looking forward to see the improvements you make. I hope in future episodes you can interview more of your parents and Luba’s family as well. What their life was like in Soviet times.
What a great project! What a beautiful place (of course: you will have to chase out many of the animals, who took over that place ;-) Friends of mine bought an old farm house, once. They had a Chevrolet Camper. They drove it into the barn section of the house; sealed the barn door from the inside. And started to refurbish the house. 1st was the bathroom. Then the kitchen. And so on... When I 1st met them, it was time to open up the barn door and drive the camper out: the living room was finally finished. It had taken them about 2years. But they did not have to pay rent, to live somewhere else. Your project kinda reminds me of that. Funny: over here, we just had Surimi (those crab sticks), too! Greetings from the far north of Germany! Slava Ukraini!
😊 The video reminds me of the very first video I saw of yours: an empty house, for sale in the countryside. I had just seen it, then came the build-up to Putin's SMO to my horror it started and you began to count every single day. You're two wonderful people! I'm still praying for Putin to wake up and remove his army. It seems he has no intention of doing that. SOo foolish, arrogant and blind. He can even say he didn't start this 😳! Little does he realise, it began in his head and was made a reality! It's never too late to wake up and do better 🌱🌿🌳 •💛💙•
how you treat and treasure your family house, even from such scary condition is inspiring. I have been watching your channel for a while now and shared this with my friends also. thank you so much for sharing such soulful journey of yours & your beautiful country✨
I’m obsessed with this house! It reminds me of my grandparents original farmhouse that unfortunately burned down in rural Missouri. They rebuilt the house but a lot of the charm and beauty just wasn’t there in the rebuild. My grandmother still lives in the rebuild to this day and is 103!
What a great start! You are making it possible to stay so you can get into the meat of renovation. HOWEVER, you should be wearing masks that keep out particulates because that dust may contain LEAD PAINT! I wish I was there to help! My late husband and I built our own energy efficient octagon home. I have skills! Your house looks a lot like my grandparens’ home.
You did a great job ! Hope the stove works well for the cold winter months ! Check it out now ! Get a lot of worm covers and blankets ready ! Summer will be gone soon ! Sending Love and prayers !!
What a wonderful job you both have done. Luba you have good interior decorating ideas and looks like you enjoy it. I bet it's bringing back memories. Great video before and after. Stay safe.
I'm so loving watching you make such a big difference bringing this house back to life. Luba will do great job with this. Some hard work, paint and few repairs with her imagination it will be very cute place. Stay safe and enjoy the fruits of your labors.

@@pavlofromukraineI know this trap from an agricultural museum, the mice were strangled inside. It was common in Germany ages ago, at least before WW II, maybe earlier.

It was sad to see this old home go to ruin by neglect. You both did a great job in cleaning it up in the kitchen area and removing junk and cleaning carpets. Most of the issues just takes some hard work. Of course a bit of paint and varnish is long overdue in some areas too! The most crucial part of any building is making sure that the roof does not leak otherwise all other work on the inside is wasted. Seeing the radiators indicates water must have been hooked up from the well at some point. With electric power available it wouldn't be a big job to get a water pump & run water from the well to the kitchen . Outdoor privies (plumbing) are common in many rural areas in Canada still. This property has everything anyone needs to live comfortably including a large garden area. Once you clean it up lots of people should be wanting to buy it. Love your incentive and ambition Pavlo & Luba and wishing you great success in selling or keeping this property ! 👍👍👍🏠🏠🏠🔨❤
I’m absolutely delighted to see you getting right after fixing the place up so quickly!! It certainly looks a whole lot better following your efforts. I wish I lived closer so I could plumb the house for you with running water and an indoor toilet! The hardest part would be installing a leach field in the back yard to dispose of the waste water, but even that is doable. I wish you and Luba the very best in your efforts with the house. Just think, a new place for Luba to make her great cooking videos. Glad you are safe. Peace, John
I like this house. It has great potential. The grounds look good too for landscape and gardens. A lot of work but it would be worth it. It would be fun to watch the two of you transform this place.
This reminds me so much of when my husband and I were young and bought an old lake cabin. We had crazy old wallpaper, kitchen cabinets with the doors hanging off, wood floors like those. Loved this video. You worked very hard and remained optimistic about the outcome. It’s sometimes hard to discard old items but yo have to be ruthless. I hope you continue and someday live in this family home at least for some of the time. ...all the best...Chris 🇨🇦
This is fantastic. I live in what was once my grandparents' house, and can relate to dealing with an old worn house filled with occassional hidden treasures. I just finished renovating the kitchen (bathroom is next ugh) and can tell there's lots of work to be done there, but it doesn't look like an insurmountable task to make your house habitable again. I love my home for its memories as much as anything, and it seems maybe Luba still holds a great love for that house. It's great to see you there improving it and making it livable again. I hope you make it a home again. As for the mirror, it looks like a small vanity / shaving mirror with a light attachment. Chances are one side of the mirror gives a magnified reflection. FWIW, if i had the means I'd love to spend a few days on that property, it's a beautiful spot and "far from the city" has never been a bad thing in my opinion. Thanks guys and hope to see you again soon!
Good work! Quite a improvement. Feels good to make improvement to a space which, no doubt holds many memories of better times. Enjoy your videos, be safe, always.

I really enjoy your videos. I watch from Florida in the U.S.A. I visited Ukraine in 1998 and never forgot the experience. Praying you and Luba are safe & well. 🙏🏼
Nice cleanup ! :-) I've been following your series of videos on rennovating this older house and it's been interesting bringing it back to life after several years of it standing dormant. Good luck with the gradual rennovations. Fun fact for any viewers: The "Snaige-117" refrigerator seen at 6:11 is an older model by Lithuanian manufacturer Snaige. They're still around. It's interesting what sorts of brands I keep seeing in videos from Ukraine, though Lithuanian ones make a lot of sense, as it's nearby. I think Snaige even sells their fridges in my country (west of Ukraine, next door), in addition to other European brands, e.g. Slovenia's Gorenje, etc.
