Adil Messi I'm running it just fine on an iPhone 4 running iOS 7, he said iOS 8 & 9 at the beginning of the video, but he also said it worked On the iPhone 4, which can't run iOS 8 or 9. It might have been a little misleading, but you can actually use iOS 7 (if you have a 32-bit device of course)
if you have a iphone 5 you can use ANY firmware now
including another ios 10 installation or ios 9 8 7 6
I tested this left and right and this utility is a godsend. Not shocked that a lot of 32-bit users get to use it though. Lots of them deserve a new life/being revived :)

I want it too, but the closest one you can get is an iPhone 3GS running iOS 4 with BootLace so you can run Android Froyo.

9.3.3 jailbreak was only for 64-bit devices, that means you have a 64-bit device and this wouldn't have worked for you. Apple only made a 32-bit version of iOS 6 because they didn't make any 64-bit devices back then. It's ok, you didn't miss anything because even if you kept your jailbreak, you couldn't have done this anyways.

Thank u. Using Coolbooter and Phoenix jailbreak I was able to use my impossibly slow iPad 2 running iOS 9.3.5 again. Now I'm running iOS 6.1.3 but unfortunately alot of the apps that I want to use require iOS 8 or later (youtube app requires iOS 9). I think anything over iOS 7 will make this iPad unusably slow again. Will play with other versions of iOS on this iPad until I find the best one.
Just waiting patiently for the iOS 10 jailbreak....

While iOS 6 is definitely beautiful, it isn't compatible with many apps, unfortunately.

Back then I wanted to update to iOS 7 because Apple hyped the crap out of it so I update and now 4 years later on iOS 11 beta I regret every update I did after I updated from iOS 7 making it harder to downgrade to iOS 6
All the devices I got after 7 was released came stock with 7+ thankfully I still have my iPod touch 4th gen running 6.1.6 the final version for the device and my iPod touch 5 is dual booted with 9.3.3 and 6.1.3.(6.1.3 runs way faster)
I really wish to see a graphic change in iOS11. We are "seeing" the current since iOS 7. I honestly preferred the design of iOS 6 much better.

Sadly no. You'll be able to do this on iOS 10 if a 32 bit jailbreak comes out for it though.

***** Yeah that same tweak messed up the emoji font and because of that, any app that has emojis will crash. Messages, Instagram, youtube, Clash Royale, Safari, Mail. Really anytime an emoji is displayed it crashes and is put into safe mode and even then safe mode can't do anything. So I factory reset it and now I can't even activate it. For some reason it won't accept the SIM so now I'm stuck on iOS 10.1

(TO CLEAR UP CONFUSION) This will work on ANY iPhone before 9.3.4. It works on the iPhone 4, iPhone 4s, and an iPhone 5. You will need HALF of your storage EX. if you have a 16 gig iPhone 4 you will need 8GB of storage. I don't know which of the iPads available, but he mentions it. If you have an iPhone 4s, DO NOT upgrade to 9.3.4 or 9.3.5, as it is NOT jailbreakable, I had to dig out an old 4 before I upgraded.

I'm using a iPhone 4, downgrading when there's still 6GB free space. After the downgrade to iOS 6.1.2(w/ JB), I found out there's only about 1.5GB for this partition and almost 900MB were used(I didn't even install any apps). Even I use iCleaner, the 900MB still couldn't be removed.
How can I do this in 2019?? Please help!

I've done this in my iPhone 4 and I just opened opened random apps, scrolled between pages in the home screen just to see how smoother it was.

The iPhone 4 did run IOS 8. And yes iPod & iPad mini both work for this dual boot if they're jailbroken.

This does not work on the 5c, I have tried it..I am pretty sure it is because iPhone 5c was released with iOS 7 and not 6.

I was pissed when they stopped coverflow, I thought it was so cool that I would prop my phone up just to see it flip covers as I played my music, when they replaced it with the covers that appear in landscape that didn't appeal to me because they didn't do anything, no purpose served because no one used that to play they're music, kinda wish they would bring it back...
I bought a iPhone 4 32GB only for Jailbreaking and Dual Booting. It is running way better with iOS 6.1.3 than with iOS 7.1.2.

I downgraded from ios 9 to ios 6.1.3 stock on my iPad 2 even when ios 6 was not signed.A video showed me how to do it I did it successfully and now have a stock iPad 2 on ios 6.1.3
I've said since iOS 7 was released that Apple should have an option to switch between their classic theme and their new theme. It still looks like a prototype
daily reminder this is an old video, this now supports dualbooting nearly all iOS versions for every 32-bit device (and iOS 7.0b1 I too)
Reading some comments below I suggest to remove all the tweaks before going back to the older version.

But the problem is that its an 32 bit device and sadly im on ios 9.2.1 but i cant jailbreak cause theres no jailbreak tool for 32 bit devices on iOS 9.2.1. And i doubt they'll ever release one this video helped 46% of people who had luck on not tapping the update button ;(
